NOTE : Dear lovely readers, if you want to feel the real emotions to this story, I'd suggest you listen to the song I have linked it at the of this story. It's pointless if you don't because 1, it's the real essence of the story, 2 this band is a legend, and 3. this song is beautiful, and no ears should miss it. That is all. :) Enjoy.

Hey Jude

''But mom... can't you guys work it out?,'' Khushi asked desperately, tears pouring down her cheeks. Mrs. Gupta, Khushi's mother wiped Khushi's cheeks and looked down in shame.

''No Khushi... this is it...''

The breeze lightly brushed Khushi's long hair, tickling her waist slightly at the gentle touch. Her eyes roamed around the city, as she stood watching over from the large balcony.

Today was it; the day her parents were getting their divorce finalized. The news was told to her 3 days ago, by her mother. Moments after it was told, gradually she felt the entire world crashing down on her shoulders. She begged, she pleaded, but none of them heard her cries.

Her opinions wasn't supposed to be voiced, and that was that. Everything was over so here she was, hiding from the world, bawling her eyes out, desperately wanting her pain to disappear.

Right at that moment, Khushi heard loud footsteps thundering up the stairs, on their way up to the balcony. She almost groaned at the thought of someone disturbing her only sanctuary. Suddenly the door opened with full force, and the person entered. Khushi's mouth ended up opening, a little dumbfounded at the sight.

''Um... What are you doing?,'' she asked, quite uncertain at what she was seeing. He didn't reply, but continued to do what he was doing, with full concentration. Annoyed even more, that he wasn't replying, Khushi went up to him, and shook his shoulder to get his attention.

''HELLO, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?'', she asked more loudly, hoping to get his attention. Yet he paid no heed to her, but just continued to set everything up.

''AR-,'' she began, but was cut short, when he finally looked up in to her eyes, and said, '' DONE.''

Khushi's eyes widened at what he did, ''Arnav... what is this?'', she asked uncertain, and nervous about the whole stereo set up.

He smirked and walked closer to her, then without a warning, he gently pulled her by the waist. Gasping at his sudden actions, she came crashing down to his chest. Her eyes widened, and her breath quickened at their closeness. She didn't dare speak; well she could have tried, but it was impossible, especially with his presence engulfing her.

He leaned close to her ears and whispered, ''forget it all, and follow me...''

Before she could reply, he put his fingers on her lips, and shush her. Then she began to hear it...

Soft music flowed in to the air... a song she knew and loved...

Hey, Jude, don't make it bad

Take a sad song and make it better
Remember to let her into your heart
Then you can start to make it better

As the words travelled to their ears, he gently made her wrap her arms around his neck...

Hey, Jude, don't be afraid
You were made to go out and get her
The minute you let her under your skin
Then you begin to make it better.

They swayed peacefully, without a word been said.

And any time you feel the pain, hey, Jude, refrain
Don't carry the world upon your shoulders
Well don't you know that it's a fool who plays it cool
By making his world a little colder

Khushi's eyes never left Arnav's, and Arnav's never left her's.

Hey jude, don't let me down.
You have found her, now go and get her.
Remember to let her into your heart,
Then you can start to make it better.

Gliding along together, in sync, she laid her head on his chest, letting the music engulf both of them in a warm embrace.

So let it out and let it in, hey Jude, begin,
You're waiting for someone to perform with.
And don't you know that it's just you, hey Jude, you'll do,
The movement you need is on your shoulder.

His lips kissed her hair, holding her tight, assuring her, that he was there.

Hey Jude, don't make it bad.
Take a sad song and make it better.
Remember to let her under your skin,
Then you'll begin to make it
Better, better, better, better, better, better, oh.

She hugged him tight, cracking a smile after days. He noticed that, and looked up at her with a smirk. Then he bent down and kissed her lightly on the lips. A tear drop glided down her cheek, at the love he poured her with, but he wiped it away with his thumb.

''Here comes our favorite part. Ready to sing it with me?,'' he whispered with a smile.

She laughed quietly, '' yes lets sing it like we always do...''

And so they did... Screaming out their dreadful voices to the entire country

Na, na, na, na na ,na na na, hey Jude...

***

This song was written by Paul Mccartney to his band mate, John Lennon's son Julian. While John and his wife were in the process of a divorce, John's son Julian was going through depression due to this. So Paul, who was very close to John's son, Julian, wrote this song to cheer him up. The name was originally going to be 'Hey Jules' but they changed it to 'Hey Jude' It's an absolute favorite song of mine, from this legendary band called the Beatles, and always will be. So while I was listening to it, I got this story inside my head, and it had to be written. Please, please, once again I am begging you guys, take a good listen to it. You won't regret it. It is beyond beautiful.

Beatles is the favourite band in my mom's family, listened to a few but not this one. It is beautiful, the story was perfect for it too; I loved the ending where they start screaming off tune in their voices, something we all do. 😊
