She was combing her hair when the door knocked.
'Yeah Sam, just two minutes more darling.'
Her newly wedded hubby Sameer was pacing outside their bedroom from past 45 minutes as his wife's watch is not letting to the minutes to pass away. He glanced at his watch and sighed.
'Megs please dear, we are running out of time.'
'Here I am, his wife hastily started to lock the bedroom door.'
She wore a pink colored top paired with blue jeans, her hair disturbing her veiw.
Sameer shook his head, puzzled on his wife's dressing sense. 'Megs will be wearing this, why am I thinking when I can't help it.'
'Now shall we, please ma'am?'
She slightly slapped his shoulder and they moved away from there in the car.
'Aaj Sam ko kya hua? He let me drive without any arguments? Log sach kehte hai, shaadi ke baad aadmi badal jaate hain.'
They were going to watch the movie 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'. The hero of the film SRK was his wife's biggest crush. Yeah, he felt jealous of the hero whenever he heard praise about his hotness from his wife.
But, today he himself bought the tickets for the film, because he can'tneglect his wife's choice on her birthday.
The car halted and they came out. The entered the multiplex. But as soon as the movie started, Megha was totally engrossed in the movie.And due to Sameer's dislike for SRK he was lost in his own thoughts.
*FLASH BACK*
Sameer has captured Megha placinghis two arms on each side of hers. She was blushing which made her cheeks crimson red. Their lips were about to meet when Megha pushedSameer and started running all overthe room. Sameer was dissapointed.
'What is this sweet heart?'
'No. Not so easily. You will may be chief in your ETF office, yahaan toh main hun Raani. Mujhe paane ke liye kuchh karrna padhega.'
'And what is that, my princess?'
'Hmm.. First promise me you'll not deny what I will ask you'
'Meri itni mazaal?'

'Comeon Megs, aaj haldi hui, toh kalofcourse shaadi hogi na'
'No, not that.'
'Toh phir... Saaf saaf batao'
She run at once and collected all thechocolates and two boxes of pizza and placed them on the floor.
'Yeh kya pagalpan hai Megha?'
Look Sam, I don't believe in God and any rituals. So, apart from you these chocolates, pizzas, gadgets and cellphone are most precious and loving things for me. Tumhe innke phere lene hai'
'Kya.. Parr.. I mean..'

She held her hand and started to walk arond the heap.
'Promise me you'll not pressurize me to change my surname'
'Promise me', she stressed.
'Okay', replied a dumb-stuck Sameer.
'You'll never interfere in my life uselessly and nor will I.'
'Hun'.
'You'll let me drive bikes'
'Parr.. Thik hai baba'.
'You'll neva restrict chocolates and pizzas on me'
'Kabhi nahi'
'You'll take me out on candle-light dinner atleast once a week.'
'No.. Thats unfair, you know my work na...'
His eyes fell on his to-be-wife's pouted face.
'Umm... Once in a month'
She smiled.
'You will never criticize my addiction on technology stuffs, remember they are my first love', she winked.
Rathore nodded in positive.
'And, lastly u'll never stop loving me'.
'Yeh koi poochhne wali baat hai'
They looked at each other as soon as his sentence finished. Their eyes were bind with a invisible thread, when suddenly Sameer spun her and Megha crushed on his manly chest. He immidiately pinned her tothe wall.
'Ab toh Shaadi ho gayi, ab mera treat'
Megha had no way to deny now. Sameer bend towards her, his breathes were now touching Megha's lips, sending shiver's down her spine.
Megha closed her eyes in anticipation.
Their lips were just going to claim each-others when two voices brokethe silence.
'Meghu'.
Megha's eyes popped out. She pushed Rathore.
'Oh my gosh! Shuchi and Samiya, they are here.'
'Sam, my baby clear all this mess, please my sweetheart'
and she ran away only to hug her best friends Shuchi and Samiya whowere there for her wedding with the most wanted hunk of Delhi.

'Sameer, Sameer.. Kin khayalon mein khoye ho?'
'Nothing Megs'.
'Lets go'
'Yeah'
They headed towards the 'Moon-Light' Resturant for their romantic candlelight dinner.
'Sam mujhe mahine mein dusri baardinner pe le jaa raha hai and most of the time I have to remind him of his oath to make him agree for dinner. And upon that he let me drive at a fast speed. And above all SRK ki movie ki tickets, without no emotional blackmails. Something is teribelly wrong with Sam.'
After finishing their meal they headed for a long-drive.
'Sam, can I ask you something?'
'Yeah, ofcourse. And why are you asking for permission. Mujhe meri biwi ki wo girly-girly side pasand nai hai', he chuckled.
'Oh, enough Sameer! Yeh sab kya hai, SRK ki movie, phir candle-light dinner and now long-drive. Tumhe ho kya gaya hai baby? You are okayna?'
'Parr tumhe toh ye sab pasand tha na.. Thats why I pla', he halted.
'Wait', he said and rushed out of car.
He dialed a number quickly.
'Rhea ko phone do Raute'
'Parr hua kya. She's sleeping.'
Suddenly Rhea snatched the phone and replied ina faint voice
'Sir, plan ne kaam kiya. No need to say thanks. I just helped you as a sister'
'Plan my foot! Megs ko lagta hai I am mad coz I am arranging all her favourite things'
'Kya? Aap itni kharoos image banake rakhenge toh aisa hi hoga na, parr ab kya? Apne wish toh kiyatha na?'
'Wish..no! Usse surprise dena tha na.'
'Kya? You both are seriously crazy, ab Meghu ko apna b'day yaad nai! Oh god! I can't handle it anymore. ArHea neend se jaag gayi sayaad. Bye.'
'Huh! Megs aisa kaise karr sakti hai. B'day bhool gayi. Aaj chhuti lene ke liye uss Rawte se kitne sarcastic looks mile. Damn it!', he banged his fist.
Meanwhile, Megha was fumbling with her newly purchased tab. Suddenly the reminder alarm started to ring. 'My birthday'.
'Oh my gosh! Toh phir... Matlab... Sam.. Pagal.. No!'
'Kya hua Mega? You okay?'
Megha got a chance.
'What the hell is this ACP Rathore? I so wanted that you to wish me on my b'day at first. But..'
'What tumhe yaad tha? But who wished you at first?'
'My new tab', she winked.
'What?...', he hugged her tightly 'Happy birthday Meghu, my darling,my love'
'I love you Sam, more than anything'
'I love you too... You're my life'
'But, I have something for you, lets go'
They drove off clunged to each-other.
They stopped at a huge hotel and entered.
'Excuse me, I have booked a hall here. Sameer Damsingh Rathore'
'Let me check, Sir'
'Yeah, Sir. You're Mr. and Mrs. Rathore. Welcome Sir. Welcome Mrs. Megha Rathore'
'Its Megha Singh'
'Oh! Yeah, you can check in Sir.'
They entered the hall collecting the keys.
Sameer switched the lights on.
Megha was spellbound coz of the veiw in front of her.
The huge hall is decorated beautifully with lights and baloons. In the centre of the room a huge Chocolate Cake is placed. 'Happy birthday to my breath', scripted on it.
Her eyes wailed up and she huggedSameer.
'Ab, uss cake ko kaatna hai ya'
'Ofcourse, chalo'
Sameer lightened the candles and Megha blew them off and started cutting the cake.
'Happy birthday to you'
Megha thrused a big slice of cake into his mouth and applied its cream on his nose.
'You look cute like this'
' Oh! Achchha?', saying he rubbed his nose on her cheeks.
'Uff! Now how will I clear this oily cream from my face. Tum bhi na!'
'I have an easier way to clear it', and he licked that off from her face.
'Apna gift nahi dekhogi?'
'Gifts, ofcourse'
He took her to a corner where therewas curtain and closed her eyes with his palm.
'Now look'.. He set the curtain aside.
'Teddies.. Wow! So many!'
'There's more' he said and removed a teddy.
She saw a heap of which had pizzas, chocolates and two boxes with a gift box.
Megha hastily opened them, it had a nice dress and a new gadget.
She turned back and hugged Sameer.
'May I have the pleasure to dance with you ma'am?'
'Zaroor'.
They played an romantic music and started dancing.
After 2 hours Megha felt sleepy and dozzed on Sameer's shoulder.
He smiled and picked her up collecting the gift packets, and walked till the car. He placed her in the car and sat on the driver's sit.
Megha clunged his arm and kept her head on his shoulder and mumbled 'This was my best birthday ever. I love you Sam.'
