CHAPTER ONE
The bald dude, named Mehra, blabbered away to glory as he tried convincing our Raizada how profiting his new scheme was. It was supposedly good enough to beat AR Company's arch rival- the Singhanias yet it failed to capture Arnav's attention. He knew better than that. Finding it not interest-worthy, he got distracted. "I'm not supposed to be here" he chanted in his mind. "I belong somewhere else. It's her 21st birthday, for god's sake!"
"Mr. Raizada? What do you think?" Mehra asked. "Huh? Yeah, it's good" mumbled Arnav, having no idea whatsoever regarding the question. This lady had managed to get his mind off his WORK! "Erm... Mr. Raizada, I asked what figures would you like to go for in this proposal?" asked a little bewildered Mehra. He had worked with ASR before and knew his way of working pretty well. This new expression confoundment left him flustered.
"What figures?" asked Arnav, landing back on Earth and trying to look interested as he sat up from his lax postion, another act completely unlike the decorum he followed. The board members sitting around the conference table exchanged looks. What the hell was wrong with their ASR?
Aman certainly knew what was wrong. He was the one who always had to bear the brunt when it came to office dealing, didn't he even though it was ASR's brother Akash who had set up the meeting. Aman was strictly ordered not to call ASR up as it was his wife's 21st birthday (yes, he knew everything). He could call only if it was a case of dire emergency and meeting with the Mehra's certainly wasn't one. What actually happened was that Akash was down with high temperature and someone had to preside over the meeting. If Akash was down, Arnav had to do it. It had taken Aman a lot of courage to call his boss up as he knew what was about to befall him and just as the sound of bellowing started from the other side, he kept his cellphone down on the table hoping for this storm to pass quickly.
There was also something ASR had to know but he thought it could wait till tomorrow but since his boss was coming to office anyway, he decided to hand it over to him today itself. It was a huge shock for him and couldn't even imagine what it would be to the Raizadas but whatever it was, it was something pleasant. It would probably cool his boss down from the fire he was spitting due to untimely call for a conference.
Coming back to the present, Aman rushed up for the damage control. Quickly getting up from his seat, he started covering up. "I'm sorry, ladies and gentlemen. It's just that Mr. Arnav Singh Raizada has been keeping well off late. If its ok, we would like to continue this tomorrow." And with that, he turned to ASR for approval. Feeling a bit sheepish, he nodded and so did the rest of the board. Calling it a day, everybody started trickling out until it was just Aman and ASR left in the conference hall.
ASR, still seated muttered a small thanks to Aman and just as he was about to get up and leave, Aman stopped him. "Sir, there's something you should see" he said. "Right now?" asked an impatient Arnav. How hard was it for Aman to understand that he had to be somewhere else? "Sir, I'm sorry but I suggest it would be better it would be better if you go through this now." muttered Aman.
"Shoot" replied Arnav as he fell back on his chair. What's another ten minutes, he convinced himself. Aman briskly walked out and returned with a file in his hand and handed it over.
Expecting nothing out of the box, Arnav casually started flipping through its contents and halted to get the shock of his life.
"Where'd you get this?" asked Arnav with wide eyes as he turned to face Aman.
"Sir, someone called Mr. Pravesh had come in to hand you the file. He had waited for more than an hour and ultimately left but he did leave his card, in case you wanted to get in touch with him."
"Did he tell you something?" asked Arnav. "Well, no. Not really. I did ask him but he said he wanted to talk to you and no one else. I didn't press him further." Aman concluded. "Set up a call with that man. NOW!" ordered Arnav, an urgent cue for Aman to get into action.

Khushi?
An heiress?
Of an eleven crore estate?"
Arnav stared at the file before his eyes.
Wonder and shock gleamed in his eyes.
"Happy Birthday, Princess" he muttered as a lopsided smile creeped up on his sexy lips.
This was going to be a good birthday, now wouldn't it?
