Glad Uma used 'Jhanvi' and not 'Sia'

I'm watching this week's episodes (actually backwards, 😆 I have finished Tuesday's and have Monday left).

One thing to be especially thankful for is that Uma referred to Jhanvi as Jhanvi--not Sia, which would've been ridiculous and have been the few earlier times Uma's done so.

Kudos, CVs.

However on that note, her scenes were so emotional and heart wrenching. The actress did an amazing job. She grieved and pleaded as a mother, and then she adamantly foiled Viraj's plan, hoping to get peace for her daughter and herself, as well as never ending punishment for Viraj.

Had Viraj given her the ashes, would she have been so adamant to foil Viraj's quest? She pleaded as a mother and he didn't relent. She told him she would forgive him for everything, still he didn't. That scene near the pyre was was just 👏 Kudos to Ms. Jaya Ojha!

On another note, is Jhanvi's mother's name Uma, or is it Sudha--as written on the cast list? 😆

And as far as the Jhanvi/Sia thing goes, when she said 'Jhanvi' I rolled my eyes and said finally! 😆 I guess I was quite annoyed that now she decides to call her daughter by her real name, but yes, thank god it at least happened.

O yesss it's a relief. I hate when they used to say sia raaghavendra pratap singh. What a crap man!!!

Even i hate it so much when they say the name sia as if its jahnvi's official name...it was just a fake name Dr.komolika gave to jahnvi to escape from viraj's clutches...

But now jahnvi had started to wear that name like a crown, but at least her mother should have the sense to call her by her real name!!! But when uma called jahnvi..."sia" i was so pissed off...i was like have u forgotten ur daughter's real name???

Can you imagine if she were grieving saying "Sia?" It would've made no sense, and we would've been rolling our eyes instead of feeling the performance of a devastated, broken mother.

I mentioned this in the update, but the last few days, Ananya, Mrs Vyas and everyone have been using the Jhanvi name, rather than Sia. I'm glad that the vindication of her and bringing Viraj to justice happened in Jhanvi's name! Both Uma and Ananya consistently called her Jhanvi

I think it started after that last episode you complained that they were all calling her 'Sia'. When they revealed that Mrs. Vyas is working with Ananya, you had said they used Sia.

I watched I think the episodes after that, and they went to Jhanvi.😆 And from then on, I think they stuck with Jhanvi.

I watched a few of the ending episodes and I was glad that it was happening. She may have changed her name to Sia, but the real person was Jhanvi.

Had Jhanvi gone through a legal name change process - changing her name everywhere, in voter ID cards, ration cards, etc from Jhanvi to Sia, it would have made sense. But she never did, which is why this name change issue was bizarre. Not to mention that she had a (forgotten) sister by that very name.

They could have demonstrated the same determination on her part by having her say that she's no longer Jhanvi Dobriyal, she's Jhanvi Sharma or Jhanvi Pratap Singh. That would have made a lot more sense.
