In those fields of Ambala their lives were complete.
Aur ladkiyon ki tarah, Meher ka bhi ek sapna tha,
Ke ek din koi usko mile jo uska apna tha.
She dreamt of roaming the valleys of Switzerland,
In search of a DDLJ style love story like Raj and Simran.
Per kismat ke kuch aur iraday thay,
Jab Toronto se aye Preet Juneja usse miley.
Kya ye kaafi na tha ke evil chachee ne Meher ko ghar ka naukar banaya?
Ke uppar se Preet ne pehli mulakaat mein hi Meher pe chori ka ilzaam lagaya.
Bade bhai ne samjhaya
Preet ne apni galti maani
Per phir bhi na shuroo hui unki prem kahani.
Ek misunderstanding ke baad doosri misunderstanding hui

A very big decision the 2 were forced to make.

December 2nd was when it all began
Not quite according to what had been planned
Rab ne us din ye jodi bana ne ka faisla kiya
Aur Meher ka naam Preet se jod diyaa
They never looked back, never had any regrets
The life partner they got was better than the rest.
And so goes the story of Meher and Preet.
Who to this day we lovingly remember as Meet.
