Sarun and Daljeet at Infinity Mall...

Arnav aur Khushi ke bina jee nahi payenge…

I have been one of the silent forum watchers but today I can't stop myself from writing this note.

I used to hate Indian drama because I thought they are usually overly dramatic and saas-bahu type. But my best friend introduced me to ARHI in March when I FELL IN LOVE WITH THESE CHARACTERS that very moment and soon I realized how IPK was different from the usual telly dramas.

Since then I couldn't resist myself from watching IPK's episodes & their off screen masti!!! Like everyone, there are many reasons why I love this drama (few to list are):

1. Barun & Sanaya don't look like they are acting!

2. Very family oriented yet a beautiful LOVE STORY

3. Loved its theme: "mohabbat door jaane na de, nafrat paas aane na de"

4. STRONG story line

5. Even when Barun left, KHUSHI kept the show going (though we felt it was incomplete)

6. I don't love Barun and Sanaya AS MUCH as I love KHUSHI AND ARNAV

7. But Barun and Sanaya are exceptionally good actors and great with emotions/ expressions/ dialogue delivery

After Shyam's track, I felt that the writer didn't know what to write more about. Then came actor's dhumki of leaving the show: Anjali, Payal, Aakash (and finally comes) Barun. I never expected him to leave THIS show especially after what ASR has done to his life, career. I understand that as actors, he would want to try different roles but I DIDN'T EXPECT THIS COMING…it was heart breaking…

I would rather prefer the show to end than have someone else replace ARNAV. Though my wish was granted, I don't know how I would survive without ARNAV & KHUSHI. They are more than fictional characters to me. As a fan, I cherished everything from Balwant kaur to WHAT THE… - Mami's: hello-hi-bye-bye - NK's: tooti hindi – Buaji's: hai re nandkishore, sanka devi – and a special thanks to Shyam without whom the show would have ended long time before – dadi: for making ARHI's wedding spicier …miss you all…

IF EVER THE WHOLE CREW DECIDES TO COME BACK WITH A SEASON 2, I WOULD BE THEIR TOP VIEWER ONCE AGAIN!!!!

Now I guess, I would have to live in their yaadein… and this is my bye to Indian dramas… NO ONE CAN REPLACE ARHI OR IPK !!! WILL MISS YOU A LOT !!!! 😭
