Hi everyone,
Even though I haven't posted since my first post on QH forum, I have been following the show daily. So far, I am loving the way the story writers are building Asad-Zoya chemistry.
I have named our lead pair 'Shola aur Shabnam' after watching today's episode.
Shola means fire/flames
Shabnam means dew drops on a flower
I am sure you can guess who's who 😊
Our Shola is living up his part very well- Mr. Akdoo who takes himself a bit too seriously. Even though he appears calm and collected on the outside- especially as he walks around in his 3 piece suit and coffee mug in hand, super confident with a mr-know-it-all attitude, a man in charge of his emotions and the world around him. But as soon as he is confronted with Ms Zoya, he loses control and forgets his 'tehzeeb' and 'theraav'- qualities he admires in his ammi. My question to Mr Khan is- why does Zoya have such a strong affect on him? If he doesn't care for women like her, why does she bother him so much? Why did he stop at the dining table to unravel the taped broken phone and throw it in front of her? He could have just walked away and trashed the phone somewhere.
Was he trying to get a reaction from her? Why?? Perhaps he doesn't realize it, but he has started falling for Ms Shabnam😳 Of course, we all know, he would never acknowledge his feelings. He will continue to portray his anger and hatred towards her till one day he has the courage to say 'Qubool hai'😳
Ms Shabnam- of course she is not always a dewdrop. She can be quite stubborn, 'mooh-fatt' and annoying at times. But I admire her guts- very few women would have the courage to say anything negative about their host's grown up son. I am impressed with the way the writers have stayed consistent with Zoya's character. She has a mind of her own and so far no one has been able to influence her actions or decisions- except perhaps Asad-today we had a glimpse of this Zoya. After Asad confronted her angrily and broke his phone, she went back to his room to talk with him. Despite the fact he shut the door on her face, she fixed his phone and sent it back with a cute note via the balcony. Even though he has insulted her several times, she was willing to call it truce. She did not hold a grudge against his attempts to physically intimidate her that afternoon. I have a feeling, she will be the first one to acknowledge her feelings for Asad. Something tells me she has already fallen for him- that's why she takes so many 'pangas' with him and loves to get a reaction from him.
Let's see how this tale of 'Shola aur Shabnam' moves ahead in the coming episodes. 😳
