Akon seems to have become one of the most wanted star guests at weddings this season.

But even after being inundated with offers to perform at shaadis, he remains steadfastly true to the man who gave him his Bollywood break.

It has been heard that when Shah Rukh Khan came to know that Akon was set to perform at UK-based businessman Puru Sethia's wedding in Udaipur with Priyanka Chopra, he called him up to ask him if he could join him at a Goa wedding instead - that of Karan Soorma and Soniya Shenoy.

Akon returned the advance from the Udaipur gig and flew down to Goa with SRK to perform with Mika.

We wonder what PC felt about the whole thing.

I read a few tweets posted here where she was addressed as PeeCee. If I'm not wrong Sonam Kapoor also addressed her as PeeCee. People started calling her PeeCee when that PC-is-gonna-be-a-popstar news was out. I think, it's PC herself who came up with that Piscine Patel-esque name 😆

Edited: Probably she'd use that name on the cover of her album.
