Star Plus's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is all geared up for five years of leap and the makers (Directors' Kut Productions) accordingly have planned a change in the storyline.

The promo of Naitik ( Karan Mehra) being hospitalized and doctors stating that they cannot save him is on air, however sources informs that he will go into the coma state and the show will take a leap of five years, this will be the freezing point before the leap takes place and audiences will be left under impression of Naitik's death.

Now the question is will Naitik be fit and fine post leap? Here's the answer, Naitik will be in the coma state even after five years of leap and the entire business will be taken care by Akshara (Hina Khan).

Yes, you heard it correct! The cultured bahu Akshara, will be now taking care of Singhania business as Naitik will be bed ridden. She will also take care of family at the same time. This change takes place because no one from the family will be in the state of handling their family business, therefore being a responsible daughter in law Akshara takes a step ahead to manage both family along with the business.

Apart from the looks of the actors, the makers are also working on some changes in the sets.We too hear that Yeh Rishta got an extension till June next year.

Hina Khan aka Akshara states, "It is true that Akshara will be seen in a complete different look and will be a business women post leap."
