REALLY!!! How could Star Plus run the scrolling message about Barun choosing movies over IPKKND. This controversy has hit a new low with this message from Star Plus.
The manner in which Star Plus handled this entire issue lacks class and professionalism, while it reeks of immaturity and back stabbing.
If Star Plus thought that they could ruin Barun's image by running the message last night, they got it wrong.
Lets get some facts right here.
1.Barun was given 40 days to shoot his movie. It is a fact that he shot for IPKKND simultaneously.
2. Everyone in the industry is aware of film promotions that start atleast six weeks before a movie releases.
3. Then it is given that Barun needs to promote his movie since he has already shot for the film.
4. There is no news about Barun being offered any new film so far.
@ Star Plus - Isn't it basic common sense that an actor has a commitment towards promoting his movie? Why wasn't his time away anticipated?Doesn't he deserve the time to promote his movie?
By trying to tarnish Barun's image, Star Plus has blackened its own. May I say it is a well deserved backlash from the fans that the channel is getting now.
We, as fans of IPKKND are sick and tired of hearing that Barun chose movies over television. Stop maligning him. Its time the channel focussed on retaining the fans they have across the world instead of focussing on back stabbing an upcoming actor.
And isn't Star Plus conveniently forgetting Four Lions letter posted on Forum 32 claiming that the story has run its course?
