When Kirti Gaekwad cried
It is not uncommon for good neighbours to turn foes. That's what happened to Kirti Gaekwad. Manav Gohil seemed to avoid Sharad Kelkar and wife Kirti at a party. Sharad says, "We were so close earlier, it was surprising when I told him that my car was in the garage and Manav did not bother to offer me a lift. In fact, he avoided me throughout. At home, I found my wife Kirti being snubbed by her best friend and Manav's wife Shweta Kawaatra." The couple then got a call from Shweta accusing them of making disparaging statements about Manav. "I was so confused because I had not spoken to anybody about Manav and wondered from where this misunderstanding had cropped up," reveals Sharad. He adds, "Kirti started crying and was depressed." Finally, when Sharad and Kirti decided to visit the Gohils and sort out the confusion, the door opened and Manav and Shweta greeted them with bouquets and said it was a prank played upon them! Shard and Kirti heaved a sigh of relief but not without being annoyed. Quite a practical joke this!
