Vidya Balan eager for romantic film

Actress Vidya Balan is eagerly waiting to do a romantic film with a good script, and she is open to working with any actor in it.

"I love romance. I am just waiting that someone approaches me for a romantic, good relationship story, but nothing exciting has come my way so far. But I am open to any kind of film, I will be happy to do it. I am happy to romance with anyone as long as its a good romance," she says.

Meanwhile, her real life romance with producer Siddharth Roy Kapur is rocking. It was reported she would marry him by 2012-end, but the actress said: "I also heard. I will say this, that one is not denying. I definitely want to be married someday, but so far, I don't know when. When I get married, all of you and the world will know for sure. This is something I would want to share with everyone."

On the big screen, Vidya will soon be seen in comic thriller "Ghanchakkar" opposite Emraan Hashmi and "Kahaani 2?. – IANS

vidya is just so perfect for romance- her eyes do it beautifully! she was amazing in parineeta! i have yet to see that kind of romance again in a movie, it was too good!

oh yeah parineeta was too good...but she was slimmer at that time. I hope she becomes in shape again because I loved her pairing with saif, it was interesting

She was okay in Parineeta in my opinion.. nothing special. I think Aish is amazing in romantic films. She's not the best actress.. but she's my fav and the best when it comes to romantic films. She just makes the romance so much more believable than any other actress. I felt her pain when Sallu was kicked out of the house in HDDCS.. she was amazing in Taal.. and that one movie where she did with her husband and she has a kid.. she should stick to romantic films lol

it's easier for her to gain weight than loose them.. that's why she takes the easy route and pick films that tell her to gain weight. I don't think she needs to loose weight to work with the khans.. I don't think she will look old.. Emraan looks younger than all the khans and ppl seem to like her with Emraan. However, I don't think Salman and Srk would wanna work with her after all that begging and praising she did of I want work with Sallu.. he just ignored her.. same with Srk.

romantic films depend on how "convincing" the couple looks...and considering most of the bolly heroes we have today are either super fit n fine and/or have a boyish charm to them, vidya runs the risk of looking too old/out of place with them...she has the acting chops to do it...she just needs to do something abt her physicality so tht she can play a wider range or roles...

Everyone should watch Kahaani. Vidya had amazing chemistry with Parambrata Chatterjee and they were not the same size. Magic of two good actors. 👍🏼 Deepika and Akshay are known as fit and good looking actors, but they did not have any chemistry in Houseful. You just need a good script and good actors for romance (or other genres). Not body size.
