Jodha Akbar will be screened at Marrakech Festival

Ashutosh Gowariker's 2008 classic Jodha Akbar will be showcased at the Marrakech International Film Festival on December 5th 2012.

"I am extremely happy and would really like to thank the Marrakech International Film Festival for selecting 'Jodha Akbar'. This is an honour for me to showcase my film along with the greatest stars and filmmakers presenting their films at the festival," Ashutosh said in an official statement.

Starring Hrithik Roshan as Jalaluddin Mohammad Akbar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Jodhaa, the film was set in the 16th century. It was a love story between a great Mughal emperor and a Rajput royal princess.

It is a beautiful movie...totally worth of being screened in an International arena...I do not like period movies...but this is one that I like other than Mughal-e-Azam...

That is great, I loved the movie a classic. It brings you to another time, not many movies like this are made! Hrithik and Aishwarya were excellent love this jodi!
