Dear Sir/Madam:

We are three of the millions of ARSHI fans who follow the serial ISS PYAAR KO KYA NAAM DOON?, the most popular Indian television soap being telecast all over the world. Although two of us don't stay in India, it made all three of us and many others like us feel proud to watch an Indian serial of such a high quality and unique story line. This has been the case for the past year, but of late, since the last six months, there has a been a downslide in terms of story line, production values, direction, editing, use of body doubles etc.

But the acting of the cast remained brilliant. The lead pair of Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani continued to enthrall us. Arnav Singh Raizada and Khushi Kumari Gupta were a made for each other pair!

We fell deeper and deeper in love with them, cried and laughed with them and made them a part of our lives!

Then the tide changed. The story lines got blurred, the tracks changed. The characterization too started changing. The loyal fans like us stuck to the serial in the hope that there would be a time when all would be set right! We waited and waited, for Arnav-Khushi's wedding, we waited and waited for their honeymoon track, and we waited for their romance track! But what did we get?

We got a hurried Shyam track without any justification or continuation, we got a Sheetal track with the other woman in the scene, and we got a baby track which spelt illegitimacy! Why? Why was our beautiful Arnav Singh Raizada changed beyond recognition?

Khushi , who was the life of the serial, who was the young but mature girl, who hid her pain behind her smiles suddenly turned OTT! She became the court jester, she became the clown of the show! If we needed a comedy track, we had a drama queen on the show already, Manorama! Why was Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada changed beyond recognition?

Finally, the rumors began. He is quitting, she is quitting, he has put in his papers, she has, someone else wanted a meatier role, SBB and SBS ruled our lives, not letting us enjoy our serials in peace. Our collective hearts thudded in tension, cried out in fear while imagining losing one of our beloved actors. Yesterday, the day came when SBS confirmed about Barun also quitting the show!

What is a show without the main lead? That too, a lead who has made the character completely his! Arnav Singh Raizada and Khushi can never be replaced by another other actors, not for the Fandom!

Barun Sobti and Sanaya Irani have been the best we have ever seen! The kind of actors they are, THEY ARE THE BEST JODI IN INDIAN TELEVISON INDUSTRY! Don't let them go! The kind of chemistry shared by them is magical!

Barun is going for a break; he does not know when he will be back. His fans are dejected, they are worried and they are upset. Does it mean he will actually be back, or is it that we will know later that he is gone, never to be back? The story line has changed; it is obvious he does not want to be a part of this track, a track which will be rejected by the fans too!

Arnav and Khushi are meant to be together, don't separate them.

IN THE SAME WAY, THIS LEAD PAIR OF BARUN AND SANAYA, IS MEANT TO BE TOGETHER FOR IPKKND, DON'T SEPARATE THEM!

Hey friends, I found this in my mail box today!

It is star plus' response to my letter to them asking them not to separate Khushi and Arnav, and to stop Barun from quitting!

I have copy pasted it from my mail box verbatim as I found it!

Dear Samona,

Thanks for writing in to us.

We totally share your disappointment.

We believe Barun Sobti has built a huge equity as Arnav with our viewers and we are keen that he continues to be a part of the show.

However, Barun seems to have made up his mind to not continue with television anymore and try his luck in films.

Disappointed as we all are, this is the decision he has taken. We are sure you appreciate that we wouldn't want to do anything to destabilize a show that has so much promise and we would surely not want to cause disappointment to our precious and loyal viewers.

We would like to assure you that we have a number of really exciting and path breaking shows lined up for you and invite you to sample them over the next few months.
