Difference between OS, CS & SS

This may be irrelevant to some but I can't help but sharing since I, and I'm sure many others, am getting very confused with the titles of the wonderful fanfictions on the forum.

An OS- is a ONE SHOT. Meaning that beyond the first, and final chapter, there is nothing more. That's it - hence the reason it is called as OS - One shot.

A SS - is a SHORT STORY. Meaning that it is a story with less than 10 chapters. It's a short story that ends after the tenth, or in some cases eleventh chapter.

A CS - is a chaptered story. Meaning there are multiple chapters to the story, exceeding the ten which would have made it a SS.

The only reason I'm saying this is there are stories titled OS and I'm thinking like oh what a nice story but odd place to end off but then I see an update for the OS and am like 'what's going on'.

I feel if we can implement these it would definitely help with the organization of our lovely forum :)

A really good method I've seen in order forums in titling a story is as follows:

example: [OS] Blah Blah Blah

or

[CS] Nah Nah Nah

or

[SS] Meh Meh Meh.

I thought CS meant Character Sketch😆, well that's how I use it.

Oh yeah I know, but I still do a one shot with many parts since people want me to keep continuing so yeah..im too lazy to change it to an SS or FF.. 😆
