To show anandi as mahaan soul cv have spoiled the characters of mostly every one in BV. Here is the list below,

Jagya - the worst affected character. Cv have literally played with him. Made him villain and don't know wht r they upto in future.

Saanchi - total spoiled brat for no reason. How can she be like that with shiv as a brother..ridiculous..

Gauri - she was very good when she started studying Mbbs in Mumbai college..bcos of Singh and jaggubhai constantly praising and comparing with anandi, she become a crazy psycho scheming lady.

Shiv - poor guy..from kadak collector to puppy chipku lover boy...he lost his smartness too. Example is railway ghotala fraud..jaggubhai easily tampered his price quotes...I am sure to show anandi Mahanta cv will make anandi save shiv from going to jail...now an IAS officer has to take help from a sarpanch to save his image. To show that anandi moved on from jaggubhai they made shiv call off the wedding on believing the stupid jagya story.

DS - we don't have to explain her story. There were many times cv have changed her character.

Who's the WE ?

She is the protagonist. This is her story from her childhood to her becoming an adult and beyond. So I think it seems obvious that things will happen around her.

Didn't you say you were going to quit watching this show a long time back ? Why are you continuing dear ? Even chhoti Ma has turned around now. Aren't you scared you might start liking A too someday ?

I am not saying I don't like anandi. I like her character but to how her mahaanta cv have spoiled other characters without any strong reason.

Every story will have a protagonist and it is told from her/his perspective.

The story tellers want to tell us about certain things that go on in the society in the form of a story.If they have to tell in the form of story there will be hero villain.Ultimately these characters belong to the story teller and if they want to convey a particular point if they turn a particular character negative they will turn that character negative at that point.They may turn the same character into a positive to convey something they will do so.

It is not that they have shown A as mahaan all the times.They have shown her making mistakes too.

It is just that she was shown as someone who learns from her mistakes.

If the makers wanted to tell us just about the things that go on in the society without a story it will become a documentary flim.

Dear the title of the serial is Balika Vadhu so naturally it will be abt Anandi

Its not "balak Var" or "Dooseri Vadhu" tht they give importanct to jagya or gawari 😆😆

U will have to live with this fact cant help it 😉

in most soaps most protagonists are shown as Mahaan

so why are you upset over only BV. There is no difference in Anandi's mahanta or any of the other heroins

I am not that old into this Forum (only 155 posts 😭) although I have read comments posted on it as a non member. What strikes me as odd is there is a group of people who are 'dyed in the wool' Anandi haters. Anandi is not Pratyusha Banerji who you may like or dislike, it is a character, any character is a mix of what is in reality and some imagination. It is her story, a Balika Vadhu's story, journey of a child bride to now. Child bride is a reality in many parts of India, story is of such a child who braves the life she faces instead of accepting it all as destiny. Nothing wrong in that, is there now?

There have been times when the Director of the serial had made Anandi a very boring person, answering in monotone of a dead person, there have been times when she had almost reached the Vatican and I have been critical of her style. The time when Shiv put the payal on first time, she could not even say a polite thank you but rushed back to sort out Jagya's clothes was one such instance, massaging Jagya's head was another and so on and so forth. But that all changed when she stood and spoke that she does not want Jagya and she wants to move on with her life, whether Shiv is there or not. I think that was the turning point.

Since then I have not seen any sign of 'mahaanta', she is behaving normally, she blushes, she is shy, but every one does not wear a "I am in love look at me" placard. Those women who can and do, BRAVO to them and there are those who can't, so that is still nice. Her behavior with the Shekhars has been very tempered, she is becoming what she used to be a spontaneous person with confidence, the self confidence that Jagya, Gauri and so many others destroyed in her. And now this brat of a girl. She is such a meaningless worm that I find it disgusting even to comment on someone so ghatiya.

Bottom line: I don't know why people still keep bashing Anandi when she has not given the cause. May be someone will enlighten me kindly.

No reason...Some bash to seek attention...some need to get a life Some dont like pratyusha banerjee and some are miffed by the dissapearence of their fav character Gwari mata.
