Chapter 11:

Recap: Swaron miss the bus.

"Sharon do you have any problem in Sharing a room with me? I don't have enough money for two separate rooms." Swayam said. Sharon shivered at the thought of being alone with Swayam in one room. But she had no other choice. "Okay." She said. They went to the room. The room was pretty nice. Simple, but nice. Sharon scanned the room. She went and sat on the couch and switched on the TV. "This couch is sooo comfortable. I'm going to sleep here." Sharon said. "No Sharon. You'll sleep on the bed. I'll sleep on the couch." Swayam said. "Swayu, please. This is soo comfy." Sharon said. "NO SHARU! You're sleeping on the bed and that's final." Swayam said, folding his arms and giving Sharon the I'm-not-going-to-listen-to-you face. "Fine." Sharon said, and switched off the tv. She wanted to change and also wanted to charge her phone. "Swayam, did you see my phone anywhere?" Sharon asked. "No, I didn't take it." Swayam said. "Then where is it? The bag which had my phone, charger and one set of clothes!" Sharon asked. "Did you leave it in the bus?" Swayam asked. "No I had the bag with me. Where is it?" Sharon asked, panicking. Her mobile was her prized possession. She got it after a lot of crying and begging. Then suddenly, she remembered where she left her bag. "Oh no! I left the bag near the payphone. How can I be soo stupid. I'm going to go take it. I'll be right back." Sharon said. "Hey, wait. Are you going to go now. Have you seen the time?" Swayam asked. "Yea, but my phone is there in that bag. I can't live without my phone. I'll be back very soon." Sharon said. "Hey, Hey! Where do you think you're going alone?? I'm coming with you." Swayam said. "No you're tired. Stay here." Sharon said. "Your tired too. I'm coming with you or your not going at all." Swayam said, firmly. "Fine. Come." Sharon said. "But what if it's not there?" Swayam asked. "Think positive Swayam." Sharon said, and Sharon ran to the payphone and sighed with relief. She grabbed the bag with her hand and flung it on one shoulder. "Thankgod it's there." She said. She checked to see if anything was missing. No, it wasn't. Everything was there. Her phone, charger and a cover which had her clothes. She smiled. "Let's go." Sharon said. They started walking slowly. Sharon interlocked her hands with his. She was very tired. Suddenly it began raining heavily. Swayam held her hand tightly and they ran to the motel even though they were drenched when they reached. Once they were in the room, they laughed looking at each other. That had been fun. "Thankgod I put my clothes in a cover." Sharon said. Swayam nodded. "Go change. Otherwise you'll catch a cold." Swayam said.

Sharon opened the door of the washroom and switched on the light. But to her dismay, the light wasn't working. "Swayam?" Sharon called out. "Yea?" Swayam asked. "I can't change here. The light's not working." Sharon said. "Sharu, what does the light have to do with changing?" Swayam asked. "Um..actually I'm kinda scared of the dark." Sharon said, embarrassed. "Okay then you have no choice but to change here." Swayam said. "Here, in front of you?" Sharon asked. "There's no other choice. I won't look. Fast." Swayam said, turning so that his back faced her. "Swayam I'm still uncomfortable." Sharon said. "Sharuu!!" Swayam said, turning to look at her. He then got an idea. He took one of the blankets from the bed and tied one end to the hook on the door and the other end to the window grill. "Are you comfortable enough now Sharu?" Swayam asked. "Yea." Sharon said, and smiled at how Swayam did all this for her. "Now change fast." Swayam said. "Okay, don't look." Sharon said. "Okay okay!" Swayam said, and smiled to himself. Sharon had almost finished changing when one end of the blanket came out from the hook and fell on the ground. Sharon freaked out. "Oh no!" Sharon said. "What happened?" Swayam asked, still not turning. "Don't look, don't look!" Sharon said. "I'm not Sharon. Don't worry." Swayam said. After she changed, she looked at herself in the mirror which was right behind her. She looked good. She was wearing this pink halter top, one she'd gotten recently and dark blue jeans. "Okay you can look now." Sharon said. Swayam turned to look at her and he smiled. "You look beautiful." Swayam said. "Really?" Sharon asked, blushing. "Yea." Swayam said. Then he noticed that the blanket had fallen on the ground. "You panicked for this?" Swayam asked. Sharon nodded. "Awww…don't worry. I'm not the kind of guy people say I am." Swayam said. "I'm sure of that now." Sharon said. "Aren't you going to change?" She asked. Swayam just shrugged. "I don't have my bag. So I'm gonna have to adjust with these wet clothes tonight." Swayam said. "No way, you'll fall ill." Sharon said, and came very close to him and started unbuttoning his shirt. She couldn't let him fall sick. She cared about him so much that she didn't even realize that she was unbuttoning his shirt. "Sharon, what are you doing?" Swayam asked, bringing her back to earth. "Oh no! I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to do that. I was just…..just…" Sharon started, turning around but Swayam caught her by the hand and pulled her close to him such that she crashed on his chest. He moved the strand of hair fallen on her face and tucked it behind her ear. Sharon was getting nervous with each passing second. He turned her around so that her back faced him. He moved her hair to the side, ran his hands on her shoulders and kissed her shoulder. He then kissed her nape. Sharon turned around to face him. It was raining outside but they didn't hear the thunder. They could only hear each others hearts beating. "Swayam, I love you." Sharon said. Swayam looked into the dark green orbs. "Sharon, I…" Swayam started but Sharon didn't let him finish. "If you need time, I understand. I'm ready to give you all the time you want." Sharon said. Swayam smiled. Sharon threw her arms around his neck and leaned in closer, standing on her toes. Swayam leaned in closer too till their lips met. He kissed her softly, and held her by the waist, like he never wanted to leave her.

After a while, Sharon hopped on the bed and Swayam on the couch like they had planned. "Good night Swayam." Sharon said. "Good night Sharu!" Swayam said. Within a few seconds, Sharon dozed off because she was that tired. Swayam smiled looking at her and went and sat on the ground next to the bed. He looked at her lovingly when she was sleeping that he lost track of time. He too slept unknowingly in that position with his head resting on the bed.

In the morning, the sun's rays fell on Sharon's face forcing her to wake up. She was surprised to find Swayam there. She tried to get out of bed without disturbing him but she failed. Swayam woke up with a jerk and rubbed his eyes. Sharon slapped herself mentally for waking him up. "Sharon you already up?" Swayam asked. "Yea, I'm sorry for waking you up." Sharon said. "Hey, it's okay. Anyway we have to get ready for leaving." Swayam said. "Yea!" Sharon said, almost wishing that she didn't have to leave and that she could be there with Swayam forever. Just then, Sharon got a call from her dad. "Oh no! It's dad. I wonder what he'll say." Sharon asked, her hands shaking before she answered. Her dad loved her and everything but he was strict for certain things. Like she didn't know how he would react after his daughter spent a whole night alone with a guy in a single room. "Hello? Dad?" Sharon asked. Swayam got up from where he was sitting. Her dad asked something to which she kept replying. "Okay dad. I and Swayam will wait down." Sharon said, and hung up. "What did your dad say?" Swayam asked. "He just asked us to wait down. He didn't scream or anything. I can't believe this. But I don't know what's waiting for me at home." Sharon said, thinking about her mother. "Oh..wow!" was all Swayam said. After a while, they waited down for Sharon's dad. Rey had come to pick them up too. He got out of the car immediately and hugged Sharon. "Are you alright? I was so worried about you." Rey said. "It's okay Rey. I'm all fine. Look." Sharon said. Sharey's dad got out from the car. "Sharon and Swayam, let's go home." He said. Swayam was surprised because her dad hadn't asked him anything. After a while, they reached their town. First they dropped Swayam and then they went to their own place. When Sharon entered the house, her mother was fuming. "What do you think of yourself? Can't you stay with the others? Why do you have to roam around and then miss the bus?" Sharon's mom asked. "Mom…let me explain." Sharon said. "I don't want to listen to anything." Her mom said. Then she turned to her husband. "This is the reason why I told you not to send her. She's so careless. Your love has spoilt her." She said. "It's enough. Just because it happened once doesn't mean my daughter is careless. She is a very smart girl." Sharey's dad said. "I'm telling you…don't show too much love. Then she'll take advantage of you. When she breaks your trust, you'll realize." Sharon's mom said. "My daughter will never break my trust, right princess?" he said, looking at Sharon. Sharon gave a half smile. She would kill herself if she broke her father's trust. Sharey's mom shook her head and then went to do her work. All of them went to their own rooms. After a while, Sharon went to her parent's room to find her dad doing some work. "Dad?" she called. "Yes, honey .Come in." her dad said. "Are you mad at me?" she asked. "No dear. Why would I be?" her dad said. "Dad, you have the right to be mad at me. I know you're mad at me for spending the night alone with a guy and all but trust me, Swayam's a really nice guy. He won't do anything of that sort." Sharon said. "I know honey, that's why I didn't tell you anything. I know you'd tell me if there's something." Her dad said. Sharon thought that she had to tell her dad. "Dad, I have to tell you something." Sharon said. "What is it, Sharu?" her dad asked. "I….uh…I….I love Swayam." Sharon said. "I know." Sharon's dad said. "What? How?" Sharon asked, astonished. "Actually I needed a pen, and all the shops were closed, so I went to your room. I saw that notebook in which you had doodled Swayam's name in different styles." Her dad said. Sharon was embarrassed. She felt that she had broken her dad's trust. But what he asked her, surprised her to a great extent. "And let me guess, he likes you too?" he asked. "Dad, how'd you know?" Sharon asked. "I saw the way he looked at you when we were in the car. No guy would do that if he didn't like the girl. I was a teenager too, right?" he said. "And you don't have any problem with us? Like the two of us were alone last night, and you don't mind even after knowing that both of us like each other?" Sharon asked. "I trust you that much. That's why I don't have any problem." Her dad said. "I promise I'll never break your trust." Sharon said. "Now come here, and hug this old daddy of yours." Sharon's dad said. Sharon ran to her dad and hugged him. "I love you Daddy!" she said. "I love you too, princess." Her dad said.

"Hello?? Sharon!!! Back to earth sis!" Rey said, waving his hands in front of her face. Sharon was brought back to earth. "What are you thinking about?" Rey asked. "Uh..nothing. Just a memory." Sharon said. "Let me guess, you're thinking about the field trip." Kria said. Sharon turned to look at her. "How did you guess?" Sharon asked. "Nothing would stop you from running for a piece of cake other than the field trip memory. I remember the cake fight we had before the trip." Kria said. Sharon just smiled. "Sharon, will you tell us atleast now? What happened when the both of you were in that room?" Kria asked. "It's our secret.I can't tell anyone." Sharon said. "Sharon!!!" Kria said. "What?" Sharon asked. "Fine. Don't tell. But I still think that you should move on. Forget him." Kria said. "I can't even if wanted to. I'll move on if he does." Sharon said. "Sharon…" Kria started, placing her hand on Sharon's but Sharon shook her head. "No kria! I won't listen to anyone. I love him and only him. I can't move on." Sharon said,tears forming in her eyes.Then she changed the subject.

"So what will you guys have for dinner?" Sharon asked. "It's okay Shar. We weren't going to stay for dinner. We just came to see you. We should leave now." Kria said. "You're joking. Please stay here. It's been so long since the four…I mean the three of us hung out. You're staying here tonight. And I don't want to listen to anything." Sharon said. "Okay okay Sharu! You know, don't make anything today. Let's order pizza and watch a movie just like old times, shall we?" Rey asked. "That's a great idea." Sharon said, taking her phone to order. They watched a movie, ate pizza and had so much fun but Sharon was missing Swayam so much that day. Will you atleast come to meet me on mine and Rey's birthday,Swayam?

Days passed and Sharon left for Fashion Week. It was telecasted live on tv. Swayam was flipping through channels when he saw HER on tv. It has to be her. "How much more beautiful can you get Sharon?" Swayam asked himself. "I hope you move on, Sharon. You don't deserve me. You deserve someone much better than me, not some fool like me. But I do want to meet you once, hug you, tell you how much I miss you, how much I regret THAT day." He said, but then realized that if he saw Sharon with someone else, he wouldn't be able to live, because Sharon was his, forever his.
