The team immediately rushes down to their SUVs. Riya and Arjun sit in one SUV and Rathode, Shree and Chotu in the other SUV. Chotu drives in the front and Arjun follows them. Rathode calls the nearest police station for extra back-up and tells them to reach directly to the abandoned castle in Mud Island where Sikandar was. The ETF reach the abandoned castle and found the police already there. Rathode had a brief conversation with the police chief and told him to ask his men to surround the castle completely and shoot any enemy in sight. When the policemen were in their position, the ETF entered the castle and went underground where Sikandar was hiding. They split up in 2 teams- Arjun and Riya went into the inner room and Chotu, Rathode and Shree fought with the people in the outer room. There were lots of big boxes and crates which made it easier for the ETF to hide. Heavy firing began but because of being taken by surprise, Sikandar's men were overpowered easily. Because of the battle going on, Sikandar had also hidden behind the boxes and was firing too. He saw Arjun and tried to sneak up on him but before he could reach Arjun, Riya came up from behind him and pointed her gun on his head and said, "Kuch bhi karne ki koshish ki to apni jaan se haath dho baithoge. Apni gun neeche rakho!" by this time, all of Sikandar's men on Arjun and Riya's side were dead. Sikandar kept his gun down but then overpowered Riya and twisted her so she was in the front and he was at the back. Sikandar held the gun onto Riya's temple over her own hand. By now Arjun had also become aware and he turned around to see Riya holding the gun to Sikandar's head and being overpowered a few minutes later.

"Arjun," Sikandar began, "dekh aaj teri vajah se ek aur ladki ki jaan jayegi. Tu aisa kyun kar raha hai? Tere kitne dushman hain aur tu ek ke baad ek kisi na kisi ladki ki jaan ko kurbaan kar raha hai! Ha ha ha!" Arjun clenched his jaw in disgust and hatred and pointed his gun at Sikandar. He saw Riya's face reflecting disgust similar to his own. She made a feeble attempt to free herself but Sikandar's hold was so tight that he didn't even notice. "Sikandar, os se chod de. Teri dushmani os se nahi mujhse hai. Ose jaane de!" Arjun barely managed to spit it out. Arjun was going through a series of emotions- anger, hatred, pain, disgust and fear. He didn't understand why but just seeing Riya in that monster's arms made his heart sink and anger grow a thousand times. "meri dushmani har os insaan se hai jisse tu pyaar karta hai ya jo tujhse pyaar karte hain. Pehle to main sirf tujhe marta magar ab Pehle tu is ki maut dekh! Bechaari ladki. Is se kya pata tha k tujhe sirf jaan ne ki isko ye saza milegi. Apni gun neeche rakh ACP Arjun warna is ke paas jo do minute hain vo bhi nahi bachenge." "nahi sir!" Riya shouted, "shoot him sir. Please. Maar daliye isse. Kill him. Iss jaisi darinde (monster) k liye duniya main koi jagah nahi hai. Please sir shoot him now!" "chup kar ladki. Arjun bandook neeche!" Sikandar threatened pressing the gun further into Riya's temple. Arjun bent down to keep the gun when Riya screamed in anger, "no sir! ye aap kya kar rahe hain?" Arjun kept the gun down and straightened himself. Now Riya was in a fit of anger. Gathering all the strength she had, she kicked Sikandar and twisted herself so that she was twisting Sikandar's arm with her. Sikandar let go of the gun because of pain and Riya straightened herself quickly and shot Sikandar in the stomach. Seeing that Riya was free, Arjun reacted quickly and picked his gun up and ran to Riya's side. He shot all six bullets into Sikandar's body. One into his head and the rest five into his chest. He let all his anger and frustration out by screaming 'Roshni' loudly. Then he sank to his knees.

Riya sat down on her knees beside Arjun and felt a tug at her heart on seeing tears rolling from his eyes. When he looked up, she shook her head in a 'no' motion and wiped his tears. He saw tears rolling out of Riya's eyes too. He pulled Riya into his arms and suddenly felt peace. Rathode, Shree and Chotu came in from behind and saw Arjun and Riya hugging, Sikandar lying dead beside them and tears rolling from both of their eyes. Unknowingly, all of them broke in to a smile. Arjun and Riya broke apart and Arjun said, "thank you Riya. Agar aaj tum na hoti to shayad main apna ye mission poora na kar paata aur shayad main zinda bhi nahi hota." Hearing this, Riya kept her finger on Arjun's lips and said, "nahi sir! thank you to mujhe aapka karna chahiye. Agar aaj main ETF ke layak hoon to aapki vajah se. sir aapne hamesha mujhe support kiya hai aur aaj maine jo kiya vo sirf ye batane ke liye ke chaahe kuch bhi ho jaye main hamesha aapke saath rahoongi!" all the team members then exited the castle to go back to their headquarters. Now all of them knew that they were not mere colleagues. No, they were now a family and they were all content with their lives!
