i think gauri n shashank will love each other very much (like sanjeev kumar n jaya bachhan) but will not get married to each other. Gauri will land up with shiv (amitabh bachhan) n shiv will love someone else (rekha).

i don't know why it needs to be inspired by silsila. all of ekta's dramas are on the similar lines. there is this rich guy and family. somehow they like a girl from poor family. but rest of the family members hate her. the guy and girl have misunderstanding all the time. kkusum, KYPH and now KAA.

Couldn't have said it better myself. And don't forget Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Thi. Ispired by Silsila what a joke. Serials cannot run if everyone is happy, someone has got to suffer, and who is the one who always suffers you guessed it the femal lead.
