TOI: Enjoy reality more than fiction-Rashami

Rashmi Desai Sandhu, popularly known for her role as Tapasya in Uttaran has recently made her comeback on the show. Rashmi had opted out as she was not comfortable playing mother to someone her own age.

Rashmi was also one of the top three finalists on dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and was a strong contender to win the title, but the trophy eventually went to Gurmeet Choudhary.

Having done fiction and reality, the Uttaranactress prefers the latter. "With reality I got to see and experience a lot of things. I prefer and enjoy reality more because you get only chance! There are no retakes".

Adding, "When I did Uttaran earlier, people recognized me as Tapasya and I got a lot of recognition from audiences. But with Jhalak, they got to see the real Rashmi Desai. So in that sense, reality Television gave me my identity".

So another reality show for Rashmi? Perhaps the next season of Bigg Boss? Rashmi clarifies, "I've not been offered Bigg Boss and I have no clue if I will be a part of it. Will need to think about it if approached. I'm not really following it. But let's see".
