Local grocery stores root for their favourite 'Nach Baliye' jodi

Shoppers these days are getting a healthy dose of reel-screen drama. Local provisional stores are all geared up to promote jodis for 'Nach Baliye 2' (Star One). Ten grocery stores have put up posters of their local television celebs and are asking customers to root for them. Says Mahesh Patel from Modern Society Store in Malad, "We are going to vote for Gauri and Hiten. They are our local residents and shop from my store. We will be very proud if they win."
At Santacruz, the scene is also quite similar. The posters scream 'Gurdip aur Arjun — Santacruz ki shaan'. Incidentally, Vipul Provision Stores is close to Gurdip's house and are rooting for the couple. "I am so overwhelmed by the initiative taken by my local store. I have grown up in this area and it is good to see people supporting us," says Gurdip. She further adds, "We are the oldest residents in Santacruz and it is great to see people supporting Arjun and me."
The show which will be on air at the end of the month will have ten television personalities fighting it out on the dance floor.
