Mahesh hopes to score for entertaining

Director-actor Mahesh Manjrekar who is one of the celebrity participants of Sony's Jhalak Dikhla Jaa hopes that the judges will give separate marks, purely for entertainment. "Only then will I make it to the next round," he says adding, that if they judge him solely for his dancing he will be the first to go out. Manjrekar who has been rehearsing for three to four hours every day gives full credit to his choreographer Sonia Jaffer for taking up the challenge of making him groove. "I have two left feet and it's quite a task for me to dance," he says candidly. Backaches and leg pain notwithstanding, he's enjoying himself and "slowly getting into the groove..."

Regarding Mahesh Manjrekar being entertaining .....y dnt you peole watch his steps and coordination with his choreographer ..you will get to now that he can only entertain ..but cannot dance....
i hope that judges get over this entertainment thing nd give him marks based on his steps in the coming weekks...i want judges to be stricter this time and fair also....

This is a dancing talent contest and not jokergiri. Don't expect professional dancing but the effort that they are putting in should be judged.

I called Mahesh entertaining, which is was in yesterday's episode. This is a reality show with celebs. Do you expect the judges to be unbiased and impartial? They never are. 😕 Bias is bound to creep into their judgments and ratings. Even Mahesh mentioned in yesterday's episode that the judges are giving him higher points because he's from Bollywood (it was something along those lines)

JDJ is supposed to be entertaining. Theres something ironic about seeing a popular chef trying to dance to a sensual song like 'Aap jaisa koi'. Shows like 'Dance Dance' featured trained dancers so steps and coordination were of prime importance. With this show, we have actors, sport figures and chefs competing against each other. Some are terrible dancers, some talented. Shweta should win if we go by steps and coordination. Personally, I'm not taking this show as seriously as other ones. Others may feel differently.
