Zee TV completes 20
years and to celebrate
the occasion the channel is bringing back all
its iconic shows this Diwali. Ek
Minute, the game show, that
challenged contestants to complete all kinds of wacky tasks
in one minute, will be back
with host Omang Kumar as
part of Zee Ki Beesvi Diwali.
The show will be packed with
dance performances by popular
Zee stars, a group act by the
brat-pack of DID l'il Masters,
songs by Sa Re Ga Ma Pa's
singers and comedy gags.
STAR Plus is having a weeklong celebration of the festival
with special dance performances and comedy acts by their
stars. Called Har Chehre Par
Muskaan, the actors will present mythological stories associated with Diwali with the message of 'good always triumphs
over evil'. With different stories
in each episode that includes
Katha Lakshmi Ki, Katha Ganesha Ki, Katha Krishna Ki,
Katha Ram Ki it will culminate
with Shubh Deepavali.
It's SAB Ki Diwali, on SAB
TV with all its actors coming
together for two hours and performing everything from comedy, skits and face-offs, to song
and dance. The event begins
with Debina Choudhury performing as Goddess Laxmi.
Then the entire team of Taarak
Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah
will perform a dance antakshari based on the theme of old
versus new. Plus there are gags
by other actors, not to mention
song-dance performances.
In short, it's a treat on TV!
