A fairy tale from Sony

Sony is all set to launch a new daily soap at prime time in October. Tipped as a modern-day fairy tale, the promos of Kaajjal; Sabbki Aankhon Mein Basi have already begun. The title role of Kaajal is being played by Surveen Chawla and her hero is Apurva Agnihotri. Kaajjal, shown to be a RJ is an endearing, chirpy girl whom everyone loves. Set in a small town of Mussourie, Kaajjal is waiting for her knight in shinning armour and her heart skips a beat when she actually meets him. The show is produced by Twenty Twenty TV, which is part of the K Sera Sera group and is directed by Ashish Patel, who has previously directed serials like Kumkum - Pyarasa Bandhan.

Umm,I dont know how interesting it would be..but the promos seem boring 🤢 ....I mean,quite hackneyed,and this subject( a ka mere sapnoon ka rajkumar kabbbbbbbb aayeeeeeeegaaaaaaaaa..when will he sweep me off my feat crap) has been done to death earlier by kekta a la KYPH,Nimmo etcetera ....and besides,its a tad hard to imagine Apu as a young lover boy😕..those roles are tailormade for young fresh guys like Pulkit Samrat and some of the guys of LRL,not Apu..I dont know,perhaps its just me,but I just cant imagine Armaan running around trees and valleys and grass pastures chasing Surveen 😕 😕

the storyline is not fresh AT ALLL; and AA looks like an uncle and he needs to start playing mature roles not roles meant for ppl like pulkit samrat or naman shaw or youngerrrrrrrrrrrr actors who do NOT look olllddd due to the excessive inhalation of nicotine🤢🤢

I haven't seen any promos yet. I will watch it for AA. I wonder why SONY didnt sign the PAGE 3 coupe together... SS and AA.... Who is this Surveen???

But guys, don't write it off so soon. Give it a chance. I think I saw a soap produced by K Sera Sera once and i think it wasn't that bad. So let's wait and see. And seems like Apu has again landed himself a lead role which couldn't really be a bad thing, so let's see.... 😊

I agree....The pallid promo went something like this

surveen in's romping in a red coloured chudidhar...she's gamboling on the fields mouthing some BORING lines"I know my prince charming can be anywhere..either right here,or far away..either in the woods,or in the mountains😆...I see him only in my dreams..and I am restless to see him...Where is he..ganu bhaiyya,help me..I know he's somewhere here,very close to me blah blah"

Now this seems so insipid and lackluster😕,something that has been done to death tilll date..but who knows..perhaps this would be the smash hit..afterall,the niche audience enjoy the kasautis and the kyunkis and the kahaanis..they would love this too🤢...and the kektaish touch would definitely be palpable,because this show is the brainchild of sandeep sickand,a guy who worked for ekta from the inception of balaji telefilms,but quit recently to join sony...thus see,this would surely be kektaesque🤢
