TOI: few shows get to complete 1000 epis-Tina

Film Farm India Pvt. Ltd.'s Uttaran on Colors completes 1000 episodes today! The long running daily soap that is based on the story of two best friends turned enemies, has continued to woo audiences for four years.

Producer Rupali Guha had recently said in an interview when Uttaran completed 900 episodes that the show should cross the 1000 episode mark and seems like her wish has finally come true! This calls for a real celebration for the entire team!

On this happy occasion, Tina Dutta who plays Ichcha on the show is ecstatic. Says Tina, "It feels great. Very few shows get this opportunity. I can proudly say that Uttaran has changed Tina Dutta. I have been on the show since day 1 and I spend 365 days a year on sets. I'm the only actor who has seen Uttaran with such close proximity. This show has become like my family, a part of my life". Adding, "I hope Uttarancompletes another 1000 episodes".

Vaishalee Thakkar who plays Ichcha's mother Damini on the show adds, "Every bit of effort put in was worth it". Rashmi Desai as Tapasya who gained popularity on the show makes her comeback after a long hiatus. Adds Rashmi, "I'm glad to be back on Uttaran as this Tapasya will be different from the previous one. Today wherever I go, people recognize Rashmi Desai as Tapasya. Audiences also love to see me with Tina".

Co-incidentally, it was on the sets of Uttaran that Rashmi Desai met her husband Nandish Sandhu and their blossoming romance led to marriage.
