I think Madhu said too much!

So when RK finally asked her about her birth dad and Madhu started talking I was quite happy with this turn.

Some things that stood out for me on this scene:

1. I was surprised that Madhu knew so much about her father. I can understand that Padmini must have told her some stuff, but Madhu seems to know it all. Everything from why Balraj wanted Madhu dead, to using Trishna for target practice, to Malik throwing the dolls in place of them to make Balraj believe they were dead. I am glad that Madhu knows it all, but again, I am very surprised that she was told everything as this is all a lot to tell a child/young adult.

2. Also I think Madhu told RK too much information. she mentioned that her mom ran away from which city. So ... RK knows the name of the city that Balraj is from and he knows Padmini's last name. Granted 'Choudary" is not an unusual name but all this makes it easier for RK to find Balraj - for whatever reason. OR if someone was listening to this conversation, then they could use it against Madhu.

3. sharing this info with RK was also good because it helps RK realize how much Malik has done for Madhu. Yes, he was already protecting Madhu from the truth but this background info helps RK to understand the family dynamics better.

what did u get out of this scene??

I don't know why, but I had the impression that Trishna has blocked out everything about her childhood. So I did not expect Madhu to get any info from her.

But you have a good point. I guess Trishna must have told Madhu some info.

Actually ballu mentioned moti-hara name infront of rk but i guess rk didn't remember when madhu said the place name. in future,if some1 anonymous is trying to kill madhu, rk will remember than i think.

i am happy madhu told him everything because rk said very bad things abt. paddy's character and this was madhu's chance to clarify everything once and all

Padmini is a mother every girl would to love to have as a mother. It is very important Madhu to know everything, even the smallest detail of what happen to them. And I think that is what Padmini has done. I think she has explained every details of what happened to her. they seem to be like best friends more than mother and daughter. So maybe the reason they don't have any secrets between them.

Maybe she explained everything not once. But during the 18 years of Madhu's life, slowly and according to her age she might have explained. From the mandhir scene it was clear. We have seen Madhu accompanying Padmini to mandhir in one scene. there too Madhu ask why Padmini is praying for long life of a man who has tried to kill them. So Padmini answered her saying she got two daughters from him and she is grateful for that. So that question might be one she didn't get answer before.

If she has not known all this , imagine when the time comes, how can Paddy explain what relationship she has with Shammu. Why Shammu has given his name to Madhu and why Padmini is wearing sindhoor without marrying Shammu. Whose Sindhoor Padmini is wearing everyday and for who she prays for long life every year in mandhir. These things has to be explained in detail otherwise it would be very difficult for Paddy to make her daughters understand her and Shammu's relationship. Even the chawl people knows everything and they too know the relationship Mallicks has is pure.

By explaining all these things, Padmini has protected her daughters especialy Madhu, because accusations and questions will arise in a child's life in school and whereever she go. But by knowing the reality of her life, Madhu has all the answers. So she won't be affected by anyone's questions.

And I believe they have faced together a lot, though Madhu was in Paddy's womb. So Madhu knows nothing can break her anymore. She is not afraid to share it with RK or I guess with anyone. Remember she has talked about her father infront of whole Bahatia's too. That means she is not concerned or ashamed of where she came from. She only knows she is Shammu and Paddy's daughter and thats all. They have a relationship which is pure and above the blood relations.
