Part 14

College started and Navya rushed into the gates. She was late for the first time because she over slept. She panicked and rushed into class everyone was writing away when heads just turned up and they all stared at her. "Sorry sir for being late!" she was scared of the outcome. "Its okay this time any more lates and straight phone call home!" Navya nodded and Appy and Shraddha smiled at her. She looked over at Anant and smiled at him, Anant looked at her and gave her a blank look, he turned his face towards the board and Navya was confused. She sat down and caught up with the notes. She kept looking at Anant. Anant didnt take any notice of her. He was confused and also angry for leaving her. Navya couldn't concentrate and she kept looking at him. Appy nudged her and told her to concentrate. The class ended and Navya tried to talk to Anant. "Hi Anant are you okay?" she walked with him. He just nodded. "Navya I have to go and see a lecturer I can't talk now!" he avoided her and walked into a different classroom. She stood their confused and dejected. She looked really upset. "Navya tu yaha kya kar rahe hai?" Shraddha asked. She took her into the canteen to have some food. She sat there on the table lost in her thoughts. Appy and Shraddha were eating their sandwich and gossiping away. Appy noticed this. "Navya tujhe kya hua? Tu theek hai Na?" Navya was still lost in her thoughts about Anant.

"Navya!" Shraddha and Appy shouted. She shook and smiled. "Navya bata na kya baat hai?" Navya shook her head. "Nothing I'm just tired that's all!" Appy shook her head. "Navya dont lie I know something is wrong, what is it? Tell us if you won't tell us then how will we know!" Navya stood up in anger. "Appy, just leave me alone for some time, I'm tired and I am going home!" She stormed out of the canteen and went out of the gates. Appy and Shraddha followed her and she didnt listen. She was hurt and frustrated by Anant. She caught the rickshaw home and locked herself in her room. She sat on the bed and burst out into tears. She embedded her face into her knees and flooded out tears. Meeta knocked on her door but she didnt open it. "Navya mujhe aane deh andar!" she didnt reply she continued crying. She wiped her tears and opened the door. "Ji maa!" she looked at her. She cleared her eyes and the tears were not very visible. "Navya tu theek hai na?" she nodded agreeing to her mother. She spoke "Maa actually I am quite tired from university so can I rest for a few hours?" Meeta touched her cheek and nodded her head. "Here drink this tea... it will make you feel a lot better!" she closed the door and slowly sipped the tea. She logged onto Facebook and went straight onto Anant's profile. She passionately looked over his photos and smiled at them. She brushed her fingers over his cheek and gentle tears flowed out of her eyes. "Why dont you talk to me Anant? What have I done wrong? I miss not talking to you... I miss not seeing you smile... I miss you Anant! I love you!" she burst into tears in front of the computer screen. She realised what she just said. "Kya kaha mene?" she recalled what she just said. "Kya me Anant se pyaar toh?" she stood up and slowly sat down on the floor. "Nahin me kese... mene kabhi bhi kise se pyaar nahin kiya... me kise ladke ko dekhte tak nahin hai... nahin!" she grabbed her hair and closed her eyes tightly. She quickly enveloped herself into her knees and shook her head in denial.

After a few minutes, she stood up and looked at herself in the mirror. "Navya Mishra aur pyaar? Kese hogaya hai yeh sab... Anant toh mujhe pasand tak nahin karta honga aur mene ese soch... chi!" jus then there was a knock on the door. She opened it after re arranging her hair and the room. It was Appy, Ritz and Shraddha. "Navya tu theek to hai na?" the three of them said at the same time. "Navya!" Ritz closed the door. She looked at them and nodded without saying anything. "Navya please sit down... Appy told me you have never shouted in your life... what's wrong?!" Ritz sat her down. "Navya please na, we are your friends you can share with us!" Shraddha held her shoulder. Appy too nodded. She looked at all of them and started crying. "Guys I dont know what has happened to me, how it happened!" Appy scanned the room casually and she saw Anant on her computer screen. She looked at Navya and walked over. She saw it was on Anant's profile. "Ritz I dont know... I dont want it to happen!" everyone was confused. Ritz pulled her in for a hug and gently cradled her. "Navya what happened? What can't happen? Tell us clearly we will sort it out!" she continued cradling her. Ritz looked at Shraddha for help. She knelt down to her height. "Navya please tell us clearly we are your 3 best friends and when one of us are sad we all help each other... you have helped us now it is your turn!" she continued crying. Appy wiped her tears and stopped her. "No tears Navya tell me otherwise I won't leave from here forever...and I won't talk to you!" Navya looked shocked. "Neither will I!" Ritz repeated. Shraddha looked at both of them then Navya. "Neither will I!" they all held her and asked her repeatedly. She stood up from the bed and wiped her tears gently. She went to her favourite corner of the room, near the window. She looked at the bright sky and then closed her eyes. She felt Anant near her. She could see only him when she closed her eyes. The three of them walked nearer to her. Appy touched her shoulder. "Navya... tell us!" she opened her eyes and turned around slowly. She looked downwards, hesitant to tell them she fiddled with her dupatta. "Woh... woh... guys I think I love Anant!" the girls faces were shocked but then they burst into smiles. "Navya are you being serious?" Ritz spun her around and all three of them were excited. Just then the door opened. Renuka was standing there and Navya was shocked and also scared if she heard everything. Renuka looked concerned at them. "You girls I swear you saw each other a few hours ago and now you are squalling like little school girls you are 19 girls grow up a bit!" Renuka was a bit strict with them. The four of them looked at each other and were relieved nothing was heard. They all hugged Navya and Ritz whispered "Congrats Navya... I will speak to you later!" they all hugged and wished her. They all winked at her and she was shy but still confused.

Renuka went out of the room and Navya sat there on the balcony thinking about what she just said. She smiled but was scared of falling in love. There were many questions that were in her mind because this feeling it was like no other... it made her feel happiness but also their was pain and sadness. "What if he doesnt love me?" this question stuck in her mind like honey. She closed her eyes and laid her head on the wall and thought about her future.

Precap: Navya can't face Anant, she is scared because she loves him and she is trying to get rid of the feeling because she feels he doesnt love her. Every time Anant tries to talk to her she diverts a conversation or moves away. Anant is frustrated and perplexed by her behaviour.
