Meghna arrives at Gulmohur to an ecstatic welcome by Maddy. They air-kiss like society divas. ššRuby mom stares on in amusement.

Meghna: (laughing) Lekin tum har saal aur patle hote ja rahe hoā¦.what are you doing to yourself, Maddyā¦itna kaam karna bhi theek nahinā¦.tum chaho toh main tumhe apni special mantric-tantric cosmic healing therapyšš se theek kar sakti hoonā¦ā¦
Maddy: Awww sweetie, you're just too goodā¦(kissing her hand)ā¦par tumhari iss mumbo-jumbo healing ki mujhse zyada, uss Raj malhotra ko zaroorat haiā¦.can you imagine, darling, abhi-abhi maine ek collection ready ki hai aur wo mujhe doosri collection banaane ko keh raha haiā¦.?
Meg looks sympathetically at him.

Meghna looks a little subdued at the mention of Mallika, but then perks up and asks, "Maddy, tum uss din keh rahe the na ki tumhe meri dress ke motifs bahut achche lageā¦how about making an aboriginal collection? Main tumhe bahut saare ideas de sakti hoon!"
Maddy: (ecstatically) Really darling? Tum sachmuch mujhe help karogi?
Meg: Of course! Anything for my old friend!
Pari rushes in and nearly falls over Meghna. Maddy admonishes her, "Parrrrriii! Tum yahan kya kar rahi ho? Maine tumhe kaha tha na ki mujhe tumhari help ki koi zaroorat nahin hai? Jao aur apna nail paint change karo!š
Pari: Maddy, main toh basā¦..(catches sight of Meghna and squeals)ā¦.Meghnaā¦.Meghna Seth..??
Meg: Right! Par tumā¦.wait a minuteā¦.tum Pari ho na..Mallika ki friend?
Pari: (primping) That's right! Main Mollie ki best friend thi!
Meghna's face softens. "Meri behn ki friend, yani meri friend! I hope hum log milte rahenge." Holds out her hand to Pari, who shakes it fervently. Pari is thinking, "Chalo koi toh aaya iss office mein, jisse meri dosti ho ā¦aur Meghna Seth ki dosti toh mere bahut kaam aa sakti hai!"
Amrit is supervising the packing for Amritsar. Billu is sitting nervously in his corner. Bebe admonishes him, "Yeh kya latka hua chehra bana rakha haiā¦..aakhir baat kya hai?"
Billu: Bebe, mujhe jassi ki chinta ho rahi haiā¦..yeh safar uske liye theek rahega na?
Bebe: Arre, ab kya tujhe doctor par bhi bharosa nahin haiā¦? Usne kaha toh hai, ki Jassi ko koi mushkil nahin hogiā¦.
Billu: par phir bhi Bebeā¦.tu jaanti hai na, pichli baarā¦.
Bebe: (gently) Beta, Babaji ek baar hamara imtehaan le cheuke hainā¦par mujhe poora yakeen hai ki iss baar wo hamari jholi mein khushiyaan hi khushiyaan dalengeā¦aur Armaan toh hai hiā¦.wo Jassi ko zaraa bhi takleef nahin hone dega!š³
Armaan enters the house to be met by Jassi's glares. "Armaan, tumhe kaha tha na aaj jaldi aa janaā¦.kitni taiyaariyan karni haiā¦par tum toh roz se bhi zyada late aaye!"
Armaan says nothing but walks into the house. Jassi follows him.
Jassi: Ab kya mujhse baat bhi nahin karogeā¦.kuch toh boloā¦!
Armu: Yeh waqt bolne ka nahin, dikhaane ka hai Jassiā¦.
She looks quizzically at him. Armu hollers for the driver, who walks in carrying an armful of packages. As soon as he leaves, an inquisitive Jassi pounces on the packages and starts opening them. They reveal a mind-boggling variety of toys, stuffed animals, baby clothes and other baby gear. Jassi can't take her gaze off them. Armaan comes and stands next to her but she can't meet his eyes.
Armu: (laying a hand on her shoulder) Main raaste mein thodi shopping karne ruk gaya tha, issliye der ho gayiā¦
Jassi says nothing but flings herself into his arms. He holds her close, mingling his heartbeat with hers.š³š³š³
