I agree with you I also thought he won't tell her as he doesn't want to destroy the bond of father and daughter, I actually thought Malik will be scared of RK telling Madhu and reveal to her himself, it's better if it's coming from him directly right. But yes I saw in SBS that RK is going to tell Madhu, thought today he stopped himself...so why did he eventually tell her, we will see off course tomorrow the reason, but what we noticed today is RK is scared of loosing what he has built with madhu so far, meaning her attitude towards him when alone, caring for him, chatting to him like a human being, so he doesn't wan't their relationship to turn sour, so I feel tomorrow he will tell her about Shamsher Malik because the risk is there that Madhu will resort to avoiding him as she thinks he can never change and will always behave inhumane.

I feel like RK just would rather have his biwi mad at Malik rather than mad at him because he's beginning to not like when Madhu's upset with him. He also wouldn't want to be falsely accused like that, saying he insulted Malik when he didn't. He doesn't want Madhu to think badly of him, he doesn't want her to think of him as a monster again and hate him again. He tried hiding the truth of Malik being the attacker, but he coldn't take the yelling from Madhu. When he saw her tearing up and yelling and yelling, he felt it was the time to say the truth.
