Mandy ka Don bhai
At a recent showbiz bash, we were surprised to find Mandira Bedi and Parmeet Sethi sharing warm vibes. They met like long-lost friends meeting after ages. You may recall that they played bhai-behen in Aditya Chopra's Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge 11 years ago.
"Even after a decade, we still share a buddy bonding. In fact, when Parmeet began playing Don on Star One, I mistook him initially to be the mafia boss.
Now he has emerged to be a loveable Don in contrast to the dreaded bhais," says Mandira. Quick on his repartee, Parmeet responded with, "Thanks, Ms Cricket Show Hostess, I guess you have heard of the legendary cricketer 'Don' Bradman. All said and done, a large number of women are connecting with cricket thanks to your glam-presence on the panel."
Would this mutual admiration couple be interested in working again? "Why not, but not as siblings this time," quips Mandy.
