Before I start with the update, I wanna let ull know ki even though Sharon is a working woman , she lives with her parents. This is because before the divorce, she and Rey owned a house which Rey got in the agreement. So, Sharon is living with her parents.
And this update has quite a lot to do with the mother-daugther relationship. I hope it isn't too boring 🤢
"Have some curd dear"
" No mom, I'm done . I'm having a massive headache, I guess I'll just go to bed " Sharon got up from the chair .
Her parents exchanged worried looks.
"Ok dear, aap so jao. Goodnight."
Later that night…
"Can I come in dear? I noticed the light on so I decided to drop in" Her mother had half-opened the door and was standing with a warm smile on her face.
"Ya come in mom. Actually my headache was better after taking some medicine so I decided to do a little bit of designing before going to bed"
Sharon's mom was very close to her. She had been through everything with her daughter. She had always supported her, whether it was her decision to steer away from the family business or it was to marry Rey, whom she had personally never liked.
Though Sharon's mom always felt guilty about not putting her foot down when it came to their marriage. If she would have prevented the marriage, her daughter would have been happier today.
Looking down, she noticed a tiny empty bottle of vodka lying next to her daughter's bed.
"Sharon, again? I told you not to drink that. You're getting headaches because of this! And your constant coughing is thanks to those numerous cigarettes u blow" She said angrily
"Stop it ok mom! I am not a baby anymore! So stop telling me what I have to do and what I don't" Sharon was furious now. Suddenly, all the rage went away and she hugged her mother and began sobbing loudly.
Sharon's mother didn't say anything. She just hugged her daughter tight , close to her chest, just as she used to when she was a small baby, unaware of the big,bad,world.
"Mom, u and dad still love me right?" Sharon asked with her face buried into her mother's blouse.
"Sweetheart , you mean the world to us. You're more important than anyone else in this world, don't forget that."
"Why do I have to suffer so much? "
"Everybody suffers,dear. That's how you grow. If you are going through a bad patch now it is only because God wants to teach you something."
Sharon hugged her mother tight. She placed her head on her mother's lap and closed her eyes. Her mother patted her gently. Within minutes, Sharon was asleep.
Mrs. Rai Prakash smiled at her beautiful daughter sleeping innocently on her lap. She kissed her forehead.
"My princess, I know you will find your prince charming soon." She said to her sleeping daughter.
"Art of living huh? Interesting…" Swayam sipped his hot coffee. "Ahh!" It almost burnt his tongue. He looked down at his coat which was now stained with a little bit of coffee.
"Shit shit shit!!" He quickly kept the coffee and newspaper on the table and rushed to find another suit.
Cursing himself for his stupidity, he ran his hand through his collection of coats angrily. Gosh, what's wrong with me, he thought to himself.
After wearing another coat, he sat down to drink his "cold" coffee and read the newspaper.

"Definitely worth a try" He said out loud as he wore his shoe ,getting ready to leave.
