**PART TEN-B**

It was a sunshiny day outside yet gloomy for me thought Riya as she relaxed on her couch at 6:00pm staring down at her case file. Slowly she fell asleep, with the day's highlights running in her mind like a cinema reel. Nikki had been asleep cause of tiredness, she woke up around 9:00pm cause of hunger. Nikz slowly walked out of her room, saw her mother sleeping on the couch. Nikz placed her hands on her heaps and sighed in relief and frustration simultonousely, Ufff, ye mom bhi na kahi par bhi so jati hai she said to herself. Nikz noticed the dark circles around Riya's eyes, she quickly ran to the kitchen peeled off a cucumber and placed it on Riya's eyes.

Riya in her sleep felt something cool on her eyes, she sprung open her eyes she took a deep breath and sighed realising Nikz being there. Nikz didn't let her mother speak she took her to the bedroom and made her sleep her on the bed while Nikz herself laid next to her mother and fell asleep.

Next morning at ETF.

Arjun was furiously walking back and forth in the corridor just outside the etf office glass door. Riya noticed it but she walked straight in ignoring Arjun, she inquired Shree if he knew why Arjun was acting like this. Shree nodded his head negatively.

Rathore briefed them about Chotu directly keeping an eye out for Ankur's safety. Chotu has been guarding Ankur from a distance, even Ankur was aware about this.

Riya: Sir I seriously don't understand why would any hurt Ank.. I mean Ankur she retified.

Arjun: Ache logo ke bhi dushman hote hai Riya, moreover tumhara Ank is a brat child while around friends (emphysising the word BRAT)

Riya: I know he's a brat sometimes but he's not the rebel one though.

"Tumhe bahot pata hai Ankur ke baremai" asked Arjun while he clenched his teeth.

Riya ignored him, "Sir I think it's better off me being with Ankur for his safety moreover he would be more comfortable with me" she assured Rathore.

Rathore agreed before Arjun could have interrupted. "Ye bhai behan ka kuch nahi ho sakta" muttered Arjun under his breath. Riya had heard that she smiled sarcastically at Arjun and walked out of the office proudly for some reason.

Riya drove SUV in full speed towards her house, called up Chotu to ask his and Ankur's whereabouts, she got there as soon as she could and found Ankur having kulfi. Riya parked the SUV 500meters away from he was. She walked over to him and joined him, she interacted with Chotu through the microphone and asked him to relax in the SUV. Riya had a great time with Ankur; they walked into a garden to chill. But as Ankur was thirsty he went to fetch water for himself. Riya insisted her going with him but he completely refused saying the shop's right in front. Riya was scared for Ankur, her heart started racing unnecessarialy she thought and smiled at herself. For a second she changed the direction where she was looking, she saw a little girl who fell on the ground badly due to chasing her little brother. Riya ran upto the kid and helped her up, by the time she was back she saw Ankur walking in the opposite direction of SUV with a old couple.

Riya didn't think twice she ran towards the Garden exit, she screamed out "ANKURRR, ANKURRR" Chotu heard her screaming in eyepiece he ran out towards Riya. They followed Ankur from a distance but couldn't get hold of him he was walking away without turning around. He was helping the old couple thought Riya, but that wasn't the case as they lost track of Ankur and the old couple while turning into an alley way. That was dark, Riya called up Rathore to inform about the situation.

*ETF Office

Arjun: Daamn it, mujhe pata tha ye aise hi koi laparvahi karegi'

Rathore, tumne usse jane hi nahi dena tha accused Arjun. Rathore lowered his gaze, as he was guilty thinking he prioratised his sister while at work.

Rathore: Hum jaldi nikalte hai chalo he said strongly and the trio left.

*Riya & Chotu

We have been searching for Ankur and the couple who had vanished in thin air she thought.

Riya cursed herself loudly for her stupid cool attitude; silent streams of tears ran down her eyes. Chotu tried consoling her, but it wasn't working. Arjun, Rathore and Shree along with special force had arrived. Rathore instructed the special force to cover the surrounding.

Aaa They heard someone shriek loudly. Riya gasped Ankur she said slowly. Arjun's gaze fell on her, he noticed the silent tears that constantly ran down on her cheeks. He wanted to console her but there was a sudden clinch in his heart that had recently developed. Arjun walked backwards, Rathore noticed the wall that had built between them but he kept everything aside and asked the special officers to take their positions. They had surrounded a dark house that had led them from the dark alley that was the only house there. Rathore walked to the front door calmly with Arjun by his side, he knocked the door twice no one responded. Arjun was getting irritated, he wanted to break in already but Rathore kept patience and knocked the door again. There came a man in his mid 50's with his thick glasses (specs) at the tip of his nose. "Aap kon" he questioned Hum voh kisi ko dhund rahe the said Rathore.

The man rolled his eyes, sab ko mera hi ghar dikhta hai kya? He questioned furiously.

Arjun: hume maaf kar dijiye hume actually payas lagi thi kya pani mil sakta hai?

The old man yelled NAHI' Arjun glanced Riya side ways she knew what she had to do. Riya stumbled as she walked towards Shree; she swinged her arm around his neck and thumped on the ground with Shree managing her from falling.

Arjun politely yet worriedly said, "Dekhiye meri patni payasi hai voh shayad behos hogayi hai"

Riya clenched Shree's hand as she heard Arjun's words, the man at the door who's name plate read YASHPAL.

As Yashpal walked in, Arjun walked behind him to be stopped by Yashpal. Riya had got up as Arjun had walked in. Arjun heard a very low shriek but he was confident it was Ankur. Arjun turned around to Rathore and nodded his head. Rathore waved slightly with his two fingers making a gun structure informing everyone to take their positions.

Arjun took his gun out pointing at Yashpal, hands up! Yashpal immediately raised his hand while Rathore looked around the lounge to find full of pics especially a Teenage boy, he found various trophies with the name of Jitu.

Yashpal turned around and pushed Arjun and ran into his bedroom where Ankur was held. It was hard to get around the house which was no less than a maze. Arjun ran behind Yashpal but slowed down as he could hear someone snobbing slowly. Mashii mashiii mumbled in between his snobs, Ankur whispered Arjun. Ankur had his knees folded to his chest with his face buried into his knees and his hands touching his BIG toe that was bleeding. He was loosing it slowly. Ankur's shirt was ripped off so that he won't be able to use his shirt to stop the bleeding "SMART THINKING" thought Arjun.

He walked slowly towards the tortured teen Ankur, Riya ran in listening to someone sobbing hard she watched Arjun slowly approaching him. "Arjun" Riya called out firmly with moist eyes and nodded at him, she sat beside Ankur and he instantly buried his face into her arms sobbing hard.. Mashii ye mere vajhse hi hua hai sab ki jaan mere vajhse chali gayi he blurted out..

Riya with the help of Shree safely took Ankur out to apply first aid on him. By the time they reached out at the main door Ankur had collapsed due to the heavy loss of blood, even though riya had tied a sock for the mean time.

Rathore and Arjun searched the whole house for the traces of Yashpal, they even brought the Police guide dogs for some reason. The dogs were accompanied by trained officers and they had searched the whole area, the two dogs barked at a particular area one in the front yard and the other at the backyard. Some officers had started to dig the mud to see what lied underneath it.

Arjun saw someone close a door, he nodded at Rathore and they took their positions. Chotu tried to break the door but twice he was unsuccessful but the tired time it broke open. The room was once again filled with Jeetu's pictures. Jeetu he was killed in a road accident, I remember seeing his picture in the newspaper few months back. Haann ye Jeetu hai mera beta jisse tum logo ne druggie kaha tha, Jo voh nahi tha! Mere baite ki jaan bachane ke liye un doctors ne uska anghuta (BIG TOE) kata kya jarurat thi?? He yelled out..

Par mai in ladkon ko sabak sikhunga he said, "Chodunga nahi inko" saying that Yashpal opened his window and jumped out. Yashpal had no idea about the special force waiting for him outside. He was immediately caught by Chotu who had run out after breaking the door on Arjun's instructions.

A curious Arjun, par tumne in ladko ko kyu mara? Ye ek dusre ko jante tak nahi the. Haan ye nahi jante the lekin ye sab mere baite ke bebasi par hass rahe the' Bade baap ki bigadi hue aulade'. Chodunga nahi mai inko he said trying to get out to Chotu's grip.
