Maybe this is why Devi Maiyya loves troubling her child

But no matter what obstacles Devi Maiyya throws at Khushi's path …
No matter how cruel Devi Maiyya seems to always hurt, punish or never even let her child be happy for more than a few seconds of her life,
The same Devi Maiyya instilled in Khushi the characteristics that will ensure that she overcomes all her life's obstacles and soar even higher as a human being
Remember When God Brings Us to It, God Will Bring Us through It,
This is the exact case with Khushi. Devi Maiyya gives her problems but also equipped her with the necessary characteristics for her to fight.
Her Love
The girl who only knows how to love everyone selflessly.
The girl who never holds any grudges at anyone in her life
The girl who's every action speaks greatly about the love that she has for everyone in her life
The girl who forgives every wrong done to her because of the love that she holds for the person
The girl who lives her life through the decisions made by her heart
The girl for whom living her life means loving her life and everyone in it
The girl for whom love means spreading happiness in everyone's lives
The girl who will resort to any action for happiness to flourish in her loved one's lives
Her Selflessness
From the very first episode, we saw this girl's selfless act.
- Her not fearing that she will be maligned if she disappears from her sister's wedding, went to find the groom to discuss with him about the dowry
- When Arnav called her back to work at his house by 'buying her services', he demeaned her values and character, yet she could not react to protect herself because her dad needed the money to settle the debts back home
- She married Arnav without even asking him for a reason all because he threatened to call off Payal and Akash's wedding and she had no choice but to agree
- Her entrance at Arnav's cocktail party all because she cannot disappoint her sister in anyway
- All the times when people wronged her and apologized to her for it, and she forgave everyone without holding any grudges at them but loved them even more in return
- Her motto that she will always do anything for her loved ones clearly stands out when she is fighting her battlesbecause of her loved ones
Note: I specifically state because of instead of for as none of her battles have been for herself, every battle of hers was because one of her loved ones' life or dreams or happiness was threatened. Thus, she has to battle the war because of them and provide herself as the shield to protect the others. And when she acts as the shield, all the arrows (obtacles) wound, hurt, scar and pain her but not the ones whom she resolutely protects.
However there was one incident where she battled for her own self and life.
It was during the scene at the airport where Khushi runs after Arnav to stop him from leaving and to hear that she was innocent. That was the only time Khushi did something for herself, all because she could not let Arnav leave her and go to another country with his proclaimed notion that she is characterless. She could not bear the thought that he thought so low of her and she wanted to clear his doubts about her virtue and chastity.
Even though all her claims and words fell on deaf ears, and she was hurt beyond words that he did not believe her, when she felt and knew Arnav was in danger, her selflessness made her go and find him to rescue him from the kidnappers and in the midst she had to befriend her sworn enemy too. When she finally saved him at last, her own life was endangered as she was on the verge of losing her life for her love to live.
Her Courage
The courage that Khushi possesses is immeasurable
The courage she possesses enables her to uphold righteousness that she believes in
She was the only one who stood up against Arnav Singh Raizada
Example: Sangeet challenge, silent treatment, resignation scene, home scene after Heer-Ranjha sequence
The only one who made Arnav regret his decisions with the courage that she possessed
The one who used her courage to teach Arnav the value of living a righteous life
Example: Guest house scene, office contract scene, changing Lavanya's live-in relationship to marriage
The courage that enabled Khushi to stand up against Arnav can be reiterated through this quote: "Before I knew you, I thought brave was not being afraid. You've taught me that bravery is being terrified and doing it anyway"
Khushi not only possess the courage that drives her forward in life, but she also instills courage onto her family to accomplish what they have set out to do
Example: During the sangeet scene where Buaji did not have the confidence to perform, Khushi instilled the necessary confidence and courage to ensure Buaji perform fearlessly in front of the crowd
Yet A Complex Character
A girl who is selfless, courageous, always spreads joy and happiness, loveable, fearless, simply an angel, yet a complex character?
Some of you may think why I describe Khushi's character as complex.
It is because not only the great Arnav Singh Raizada has grey shades to his character but his wife Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada too as grey shades to her character.
What I started to love about this show was both the lead characters were not shown to be saints or larger than real man or woman. Both the characters as much as they had good and positive traits, they still showed the grey shades of their character traits that allowed me to view them as any normal man and woman going through the ups and downs of their individual lives.
If you have read my previous analysis about Arnav Singh Raizada's characterization, Khushi Kumari Gupta Singh Raizada's characterization is also similar to that. Some of their similarities are listed below:
Both are stubborn
They never stop till they achieve their individual quests
Both love their family a lot
They both will cremate their own happiness for their loved one's love to flourish and will never expect anything in return
Both are lion and the lioness
When it comes to protecting their loved ones, both rise to the occasion to defend their sanctuary
Both share the same pain – losing their parents at a young age
While Arnav remembered his parents clearly, Khushi has no memories about them
While Arnav swore off love and life's relationships, Khushi built her life and memories with her new family
While Arnav delved in pain and hurt and inflicted it upon people near and dear to him, Khushi delved in happiness and joy and spread it in the lives of people around her
However, post the kidnapping track, Arnav understood the love that he has for Khushi and the importance of her in his life.
Every action that needed to be done by him to prove his love to her, he did it.
He vowed his love to her by bringing her to his mother's garden and claimed her to be his mother's daughter
He remarried her amidst very bad situations, yet believed that he cannot live without her if he lets her go and proved that the love he has for her can weather any storms
At every situation in his or Khushi's lives, he reinstated the importance of her in life
Example: Arnav told Anjali that if Khushi leaves him, he would not be able to breathe; He reiterated the same words to Khushi at the farmhouse that he would not be able to live without her and told her never to leave him and go.
Note
Before the above-mentioned scene where Arnav confesses to Khushi his love and tells her not to leave him ever, rememberKhushi did not trust Arnav.
She believed that Arnav was entertaining another woman in the room. She did not believe Arnav's words nor did she for once took a moment out to think whether Arnav was even capable of such actions or will be able to betray her trust and love. But she did not think and just jumped to conclusions.
She only believed Arnav after he proved to her with evidence that there was no other woman in the room with him and then she told him that she trusted him and his love.

Why Arnav did not trust Khushi during the hate marriage?
Because he did not love Khushi at that point of time, he was only attracted towards her. He mentioned this to Anjali when he said he did not love Khushi prior to the marriage but only did after he married her.
Now, for Arnav love basically means and equals to trust. Arnav loves Khushi and that also indicates that he trusts her beyond anything else in the world.
Examples: During Mehendi sequence, he trusted Anjali's care with Khushi, he followed Khushi's plan to oust Shyam out of RM, he shares with Khushi every bit of his personal life, even the secrets that he hid from his sister, and most importantly when Khushi revealed to Arnav that he was kidnapped by Shyam, Arnav did not need proofs or evidences to trust Khushi, he just trusted her words. This is love. This is ultimately trust.
But does Khushi trust Arnav?
Of course she does! If not, she would not have consummated her marriage with Arnav before taking the pheres with him…The ultimate action of reciprocation for Arnav's love and trust on her by Khushi
But is Khushi's trust as strong as Arnav's?
Arnav's love and trust on Khushi weathered the storm of hate marriage and was successfully established and now its unshakeable. Khushi, however had no situations or reasons that occurred for her to not trust Arnav. Even during the remarriage Arnav came at the last minute and Khushi's trust did not break even though it faltered.
Now arises a situation where Khushi's trust on Arnav is tested.
This is Devi Maiyya's test for Khushi and the love that she showers upon Arnav. Is her love and trust strong enough?
Can it weather the Storm Sheetal (provided she is here to break Khushi's marriage)….well only time has the answer to this and before Khushi succeeds successfully to overcome this storm, the grey shades of Khushi's character must be quashed first.
Grey Shades
Khushi as much as she is portrayed to be a strong, mature, sensible girl when it comes to battling her problems, there are fears and insecurities that have been present in her life since she was 8 years old that has never gone away.
Loves her adopted family as her own and takes their problems as hers
Yet when she is lonely, upset or sad, she yearns for her real parents who she believes are stars. She does not let anyone else see or comfort her when she is broken to bits. She shares with no one her tears.
Believes she needs to live for other's happiness, and then only she will be happy
Yet no one ever asks her what makes her truly happy, if I understand Khushi's character truly, even she does not know what makes her truly happy because all her life she has only lived for others. Everyone only think Khushi is an open book, just because she screams for food and they believe food makes her happy, no one ever asks her what she would like to eat, that they would like to do something for her. No one sees the girl who hides her thoughts and dreams and wishes. Yes, not even Arnav. He goes out of his way to make all her wishes come true yet has never asked if she ever wanted anything from the bottom of her heart.
Acts, plays, is childish, immature, tyrant, OTT behavior
Yet no one sees the broken soul that tries to be positive and yearns for only happiness in her life
Loves unconditionally and selflessly everyone and anyone
Yet no one sees that she only wants love and security in return for her gesture. Someone who only belongs to her during bad times and good times, someone who will never leave her and go during any point in her life, someone who she can call her own, someone she does not have to owe her life and upbringing to, someone who she does not need to love in terms of gratitude.
Someone who spreads immeasurable happiness and joy in others' lives
Yet fears when she receives so much joy in just one day? And the person, who needs to understand why she said it, never did.
Understands every word, movement, expression of her loved ones
Yet no one sees the tears and heartbreak evident on her face when she faces a difficult situation. Just because she laughs it off, they believe she is fine and is alright.
Willingly sacrifices her life and even her love for other's happiness
Yet everyone sees her only as sanka devi, not as a human being with feelings and emotions, someone who will have deep-rooted reasons for her each and every behaviour
Reiterates courage and bravery to make other's accomplish their tasks
Yet no one sees she lacks courage and bravery when it comes to love and is scared to love and trust someone because she is afraid that they will leave her and go like how her loved ones have always did every time in her life before
If Khushi has to trust Arnav against Sheetal's plan, first she has to get rid of all her insecurities and fears!
And this can only be achieved by Arnav Singh Raizada. Only he will be able to reach beneath the outer faade of Khushi, enter her mind and heart to resolve all her fears and insecurities, and to vow to love her forevermore. Until Arnav pushes Khushi to get rid of her fears and insecurities, her trust on Arnav can never have a stronghold. When another storm comes around, her fears and insecurities will again resurface.
Sadly for Arnav to curb Khushi's fears and insecurities, it will be an uphill task, because it is a shell that is hidden from the outer world, like how Arnav was hidden inside ASR.
As nothing is impossible in love, and Khushi succeeded in bringing out Arnav from ASR, I have full faith Arnav would be able to help Khushi out of her fears and insecurities. He should proceed to reassure her and not add fuel to her own worries, especially about Sheetal.
When he accomplishes this task, we will have
A mature Khushi who understands that everyone loves her for who she is not because of what she does for everyone,
A person who will believe that she deserves the happiness and joy in her life and does not need to sacrifice it for anyone else,
A girl who would have found a confidante in her husband with whom she can speak about her worries at anytime and know she won't be judged for it
A human being who will understand herself first before others
A thought about the track
Remember guys before we bash the CVs, director, cast and crew, they work under tight schedule and deadlines to bring to us the show everyday at 8pm. Every one have a good or a bad day, same goes for the drama, we should be happy that the drama is still airing on our screens amidst all the offscreen, onscreen and even the forum drama. The crew that gave us such an exceptional story for one and a half years are just slowly getting back on its feet, it cannot fly high at the moment but let us not cripple it again by bashing their work. This is not an advice but sometimes being positive really helps!
I am craving for my rabba ve, my intense passionate romance and my Arshi proper suhaag raat and honeymoon, but honeymoon cannot happen now because of no TRPs, and those who are complaining about OTT comedy, please bear in mind that after every OTT comedy, there comes a time in our show where the leads are separated or intense drama starts. And during that period, we will be sitting down and crying with our leads for their pain, hurt and loss.
Points to ponder
1) Significance of dead rose – According to Sri, it may have meant the death of Anjali's daughter. However, if it meant Anjali's daughter, when Khushi was watering the plant there were two rose buds, does that indicate only one of Anjali's child died but the other one is still alive?
2) Numbers 11 and 22 – According to me, 11 and 22 are very special numbers under tarot and psychic readings.
3) Number 11 possesses the qualities of intuition, patience, honesty, sensitivity, and spirituality, and is idealistic. Eleven can also represent sin; transgression and peril. Ten being the perfect number, eleven represents the exceeding of both. It is interesting to note that eleven when broken down ( 1+1=2) comprises the Two of duality. Number eleven is a master vibration and as such should not be reduced to a single number.People with this number could be both idealistic and visionary, and they are attracted to the unknown.They can be both unusual, interesting and magnetic personalities. Some scenes that I loved last week!
- Definitely all the scenes that involved Arnav and Khushi!!
- Arnav's bonding with Aarav – especially the one at the poolside, reminded me of how my cousins and I speak with the younger kids in our family. We treat them as friends and not behave like elder or younger, and Arnav sees Aarav as more of his friend rather than a small boy who needs to be taught how to respect elders and both their point of view about Khushi was really funny!
