Sorry for the long wait. I was hoping to cram everything into Part 4 and end the OS but at last I couldn't do it...too many things I had to write to get to where I want the story to be. Which I guess me it's a good thing for you guys cause I will have to write one more part or so.

Anyways, thank you all for the lovely comments and hitting the Like Button. It really means a lot. 😃

Part 4:

Prem slide the key card through the slot on the front door of their hotel suite. When they entered and turned the lights on, they both inhaled in awe at the way the room had been decorated. There were candles and various colors of rose petals everywhere in the common area. Prem smirked as he saw a distinct trail of red roses leading into the bedroom. He turned towards Heer and quickly swept her up into his arms to carry her. "Prem..." she exclaimed. The sudden movement had completely caught her off guard.

"Thought you would be tired of standing on your feet all day," Prem replied as he followed the path of petals. Heer gave him a look making him grin sheepishly. "Can't I be romantic?"

"Nothing wrong with that," Heer answered and placed her hand on his cheek as she tenderly kissed him.

Prem gingerly put her down and placed his arm around her waist as they looked at how the bedroom had been decorated. Luscious red rose petals and small candles where placed in a design pattern on the bed. "They lit the candles?" Heer inquired with great curiosity as she walked forward to inspect them.

"I'm surprised they did that. What if the room caught on fire?" Prem mused.

"No, they are the flameless kind...battery operated," Heer replied as she held one up.

"Nice touch," Prem said. He looked about the room and saw a box of matches laying on the dresser. "Maybe we should light the real candles?"

"That's a great idea. You go do that while I freshen up," Heer stated.

"Freshen up?" Prem repeated looking at her quizzically.

"I need to use the restroom and brush my teeth. The food we ate had a lot of spices," Heer explained and walked towards her suitcase.

Prem's eyes flexed and he brought his hand up to his mouth and exhaled into his palm to check his breath. He did it a few times to see if he could smell anything unpleasant. He couldn't smell anything but then realized that it probably wasn't a bad idea to brush his teeth. He suddenly felt very self conscious and nervous. Even though they had been intimate with each other before, this was their wedding night. It was a special night and he felt pressure to make it memorable for them. "I don't have a toothbrush," he softly murmured.

"Your suitcase is here Prem," Heer stated as she took her toiletry bag out of her suitcase.

"It is?"

"Kulraj Didi packed a few things for you and placed it into this carry on," Heer said pointing to the blue roll away.

Prem grinned, "Kul Di is awesome. I thought I would have to wear the same thing again for tomorrow. Pajamas...I wasn't too worry about."

"Really?"

Prem's face flattened at her response. He glanced towards the bed and back at Heer. "So, um...we're still sleeping on the bed..."

"You know I've been thinking...this step we took...it's really changed everything...I mean we've been friends forever and now...we're husband and wife...that's like a huge step...we never really dated...we weren't boyfriend girlfriend...this is really big," Heer said looking at him. "Sure, I know we had one night together...and our share of kisses...but you know what I mean?"

Prem swallowed hard not knowing what to say. A few minutes ago she seemed to be willing to be with him and now she was telling him they needed to slow down. "Um...oh...okay..." He looked down and then towards the living room, "I can sleep on the couch." His eyes lifted in confusion when he heard a burst of laughter. Heer was covering her mouth giggling uncontrollably. His eyebrows knitted and he stared blankly at her for a few seconds.

"You're too cute you know that?" Heer said and pinched his cheek. Prem pouted at her remark. "Awww...too cute...the look on your face was priceless."

"You're going to pay for that," Prem grumbled. "Sure, keep laughing," moving his head side to side in a mocking manner, "I'm not going to let you sleep tonight," pulling her close and looking into her eyes, "I mean it. Not a wink."

Heer could see the flicker of passion in his eyes and it made her suddenly blush. "Prem...I...th-that was just a joke..."

He smirked, "You're cute when you're shy," gently turning her around, "Go freshen up." Heer looked down feeling a bit timid but then quickly grabbed her things and walked into the bathroom. Prem grinned and then turned his attention to the candles that he needed to light.

******************************************

Hazel almond shaped eyes stared up at the dark night sky enjoying the serene silence. Her head was titled upward while her shoulder leaned against the door frame of the French doors that opened out to the balcony. She had been tempted to walk outside but the night temperature had dropped making it too cool for her comfort. Plus, she was afraid of waking her companion. Her cheeks gently blushed at the thought of what had happened a few hours ago; their first time together as husband and wife. The experience had been magical and soulfully satisfying. The tenderness Prem had shown had melted her completely. It was the type of romantic love making that she wasn't going to soon forget. Her pink lips curled upward into a grin when she felt his presence behind her. Her grin widen even more when she heard him let out a pleasing sigh as he slithered his arms around her waist and rested his cheek against her head. "Staring at the moon?" His voice was deep and soft at the same time making butterflies flutter in her stomach. She simply leaned into his board chest and relaxed herself in his embrace. Their hands intertwined over the belt of her silk robe. "I've been thinking."

"Oh no, not thinking again..."

"Not like that Prem. Serious. What about our Honeymoon? I don't want to sound petty but your job...I mean this is all going to be quite a surprise for some of your colleagues. You haven't put time off...do you even have time?"

"Hmmm...didn't think about that," murmuring in agreement. "Well, I'm here for a week ...then I have to fly back to London to finish up the project. How many days have you taken?"

"Papa is my boss so I can always forgo my days and request at another time," Heer stated. "I have more flexibility. But you?"

"Not until the London project is over," Prem sighed. He tightened his hold on her in an apologetic manner.

"It's okay Prem," Heer comforted.

"No, it isn't okay."

"It's not like you knew this was going to happen. You're co-workers are going to get a shock. You come back home for one week and suddenly you're married," Heer said.

"I guess," letting out an amused chuckle at her last comment, "Carrie is going to be very disappointed."

"Who's Carrie?" Heer inquired as she turned her head to look him in the eyes.

Prem grinned at her reaction. "You know you're the most important woman in the world to me."

"Lair...that would be Ma..." Heer replied. "Don't try and change the subject. And stop grinning like that."

"Like what?" Prem asked with arched eyebrows. "You and Ma are both very important to me. And when we have a daughter she will be important to me as well...three important women in my life."

"Who is this Carrie? Does she hit on you?" Heer asked.

"Aaa..."

"She does, doesn't she? Well, you're married now..." flexing her eyes as she realized, "but we don't have wedding rings...you don't have a band," muttering softly to herself, "we need to get you one before you go back...we needed to get our rings anyways...and fill out the marriage license at the county clerk's office...this week is going to be so busy." She looked up and frowned, "Stop smirking like that. Why are you trying to make me jealous?"

"So, you admit you get jealous," Prem replied.

"Prem, can you stop messing around and be serious?"

"I am serious. You think I asked for your hand in marriage out of fun? I have feelings too." He saw the displeased look in her eyes and opened his mouth again to interrupt her, "I was thinking you could come with me to London. I know it may not be the best Honeymoon since I will need to work during the week but we will have the nights and weekends. At least keep me company for a week or so. And then once this project is done we can have a proper Honeymoon. What do you say? I'll introduce you to Carrie and you can make it very clear to her that I'm a taken man now. Mark your territory," arching his eyebrows, "What do you say?"

"London, huh?"

"I have a very nice suite near Buckingham...51 Buckingham Gate...they are operated by Taj Suites and Residences. They share the Crowne Plaza's fitness center and some really nice restaurants. You can enjoy yourself at the hotel...take advantage of some of the amenities or go out and sightsee while I'm at work," Prem reasoned. "So?"

Heer gave a smile and nodded her head, "Okay."

"Great," Prem grinned in return. He hugged her and took a pleasing breath. She snuggled against his bare chest making him feel warm and content. When they broke apart Heer turned around so she could gaze at the moon and the night sky again. Prem pulled her into a back hug and wrapped his arms around her as he joined her in her gazing. After a few minutes he began to lazily caress his lips against the side of her cheek; pursing them slightly giving light kisses. Heer grinned and rubbed his arm letting him know she was enjoying his affections. Prem treated this as a signal and began nipping gently at her earlobe. His hands found the knot that held her silk robe and carefully untied it. Heer sighed and slithered her hand up his neck and into his hair. Prem sensually rubbed his nose along her skin and began placing a trail of kisses from her cheek down her neck. He pulled the left side of the robe downward trying to gain access to her shoulder. Heer let out a murmur of pleasure heightening Prem's senses. Their breathing was becoming more labored as their passion for each other was reigniting. Heer felt her knees go weak when their lips finally connected. Prem quickly swept her off her feet and carried her back to the bed. "Remember what I said?" he whispered against her mouth.

"I want to be loved by you," Heer simply replied.

Prem smirked and laid her down on the soft bed. Their eyes connected as he hovered over her. "Tell me..." he gently coaxed.

"I love you...so very much," Heer answered and then wrapped her arms around his neck pulling him down to capture his lips.

A loving mound soon formed underneath the crisp bed sheet as Prem and Heer expressed their love for one another in the most intimate fashion any couple could. Time seemed to move far too fast as the night quickly waned into the day. The passionate desires they had for one another were still raging, but eventually the two could no longer ignore the fatigued of their bodies and slowly closed their eyes to rest. They curled together needing the comfort of each other's touch before they could peacefully sleep. Their hands intertwined refusing to let go.

******************************************

Heer gently stirred underneath the bed sheet feeling a bit cold. She turned to her left and grabbed the comforter pulling it up to her chin and tried snuggled into position. Her eyebrows knitted a little as she couldn't locate a comfortable spot to rest her head in on the pillow. Her eyelids groggily lifted to see a pair of brown eyes staring at her. Heer jerked back and shrieked. "Aahhh!"

"What the? Heer calm down, it's me," Prem explained trying to keep her from yelling.

Heer held her hand to her chest and took a deep breath. "What were you doing?"

He was raised on his elbow the bed sheet fallen at his waist revealing his beautifully smooth bare chest and abs. If it wasn't for the fact that she had gotten so scared in the morning by him, she would have been massaging his chest and showing some of her undivided attention. "You okay?"

"No," Heer replied. "What were you doing? Were you staring at me while I was sleeping?"

"Isn't it romantic? They do it all the time in films and TV..." Prem inquired.

"It's not. That was creepy and scary. I'm like half asleep...and then I open my eyes and all I see are these two eyeballs staring at me," Heer explained.

"Oh...I thought it would be romantic," Prem replied a bit sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his head. His eyes looked on in wonder when he saw Heer scoot closer and place a kiss on his cheek.

"For effort," Heer simply stated making him grin. "But please don't do that again. You're lucky I didn't punch you."

"Yea, that would not be cool," Prem replied with a nervous chuckle. Heer placed her hand on his shoulder and push downward. Understanding what she wanted Prem laid back down in bed and slipped his arm around her back as she snuggled against his chest. He took a long satisfied breath. His fingers lazily brushed through her silky hair as they laid there in the early morning. "I'm so sleepy," he yawned.

"Me too," Heer replied. "But we have a very full day ahead of us. We have to go to your house and I have to cook a sweet for the family. Then we have to go to my house and have lunch with my family. I guess I will be staying at your house while you're here in town."

"What about your apartment?" Prem inquired.

"My cousins have been staying there. I let them have the apartment and I moved back to my parents' house for the wedding...thought it would be easier being at home...didn't have to travel back and forth between my apartment and the house for some of the planning and events...more space...everyone was going to be there anyways..."

"Hmmm...made sense..." Prem pondered. "So what time do we need to go home again? 10:00?" He turned his head to see what time the alarm clock was displaying, "8:45"

"We probably should get up and get ready," Heer sighed.

"How long are your cousins staying here?"

"They said they were going to stay for another week after the wedding. You know it's like a vacation for them as well. The plan was for me to move into Viren's apartment as his parents live up in Canada...so didn't have to deal with the traditional family household thing," Heer replied.

"Not like that would have happened if I was living here," Prem stated.

"Yeah right...Prem, you would so be living with your parents."

"I would not," he defended.

"You so would. I know how you are. You can't be far from them. You call them every day to see how they are doing. I know how hard it was for you to say yes to the job you have now especially since it required you to move out West. If it wasn't for your mother telling you to take it you would have turned down the offer," Heer said.

"Well, now I have even more of a reason to move back home," Prem replied. Heer lifted her head to look at him. "I can't live away from my wife. But we'll live in our home own. Maybe we can look for something that is 15-30 minutes away from our parents. It's still close enough but not too far away that they feel like we are ignoring them if we don't come and visit them."

"Do they have an office here in Atlanta now?" Heer inquired.

"Yes, they do. I'll see if I can transfer...if not...I'll look for another job," Prem said.

"But Prem...your career..."

He shook his head and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, "It's easier for me to move than you to move. One day your Dad's going to hand over his clinic to you."

Heer just hugged him and said, "This is one of the many reasons why I love you Prem Juneja." He simply grinned and took his hug.

Kulraj walked back and forth in the foyer holding her six month year baby girl in her arms. Her head would stretch to the right as her eyes peered anxiously for a blue Honda Civic to pull into the driveway. "You're going to make poor Tanu dizzy if you keep pacing back and forth like that." She turned to see her husband grinning widely at his little joke.

"Kiran..."

"Relax," he stated and checked his watch. They still have five minutes before they are considered late. Don't you remember what it was like to be newlyweds?" sighing as if recalling fond memories, "Must have gone to bed really late..." seeing his wife roll her eyes he quickly added, "you know the reception ended very late last night..."

"Kiran..."

"The house is prepared beautifully. We have everything in order to welcome our new Bahu to the family. We even decorated Prem's bedroom even though they spent their wedding night at the hotel. And it's not like she doesn't know who we are."

"Kiran..."

"Come here," he motioned as he walked closer. He took the baby from her arms and smiled at his child. "Tanu, Papa is here to take you away so you don't get motion sickness from Mama's worrying."

"I just want everything to go perfectly," Kulraj explained. "Everything happened so fast. Just wish we had more time to prepare. And I love that Heer is going to become part of the family. She almost was anyways...she has been Prem's friend since middle school...they've known each other for so long. I'm glad my brother finally said something...otherwise he would have lost his opportunity all together."

"What are you saying?" Kiran asked with confusion on his face.

"Prem has been in love with Heer for so long. But that pagal refused to say anything to her. He kept his mouth shut...quietly suffering all these years until yesterday," Kulraj explained. "That is why I'm so glad things happened the way they did."

"And who do you have to thank for all of that?" Kiran and Kulraj turned their heads to see Preet walking into the foyer followed by Ginger. "Me," he continued pointing to himself. "I'm the one who dragged him back from London."

"Nice kurta you're wearing," Kiran complimented. "Isn't that right Ginger?" The Golden Retriever barked as if agreeing to the question.

"Why thank you," Preet said tugging at his collar. He was wearing an embroidered blue kurta top with black pants. "Thank you Ginger."

"You clean up good. It's a shame you don't clean yourself very often," Kiran smirked.

Preet chucked, "Good one Jiju. I'll give that to you since you don't often succeed in your comebacks."

"I don't need comebacks because the minute I lay one down they are already knocked out by my wit," Kiran replied.

"Touche," Preet grinned.

"Will you two stop joking around?" Kulraj suggested.

"God was on Prem's side that day," Gayatri said as she entered the front hallway with the aarti plate. "If Viren hadn't run away like that...I'm not sure what would have happened."

"Aunty? You knew," Preet said with wide eyes.

"I'm his mother of course I knew," Gayatri said. "Prem couldn't keep secrets from me even if he tried. He may not have said anything but I could see it in his eyes and I could tell by the way he treated and cared for Heer. I knew one day she would become my daughter-in-law."

"Wah, this is amazing," Preet murmured. "All this time...everyone knew...and yet no one did anything about it..."

"That engagement proposal from the Singhanias surprised everyone. There wasn't anything we could do since Balraaj agreed and gave his blessings. I tried to talk to Prem about it but he always changed the subject. He didn't want to talk about it," Gayatri explained.

"Mommy, Prem Mamu," Ketan said as he pointed out the window. The four year old had climbed on top of one of the arm chairs in the hallway to look out the window and see who the adults were waiting for. Kiran patted his son's head in appreciation for his efforts.

"Oh, they are here," Kulraj excitedly confirmed. "Preet go get Bauji."

"No need I'm right here," Lalit said as he straightened his outfit. "Everyone ready to greet the Bahu of this household?"

"Yes."

"Good, I'm going to say this once and I aspect everyone to follow my words. No one should disrespect and mistreat Heer...and if you do you will have to answer to me...she's my daughter," Lalit stated,

"Declaring her as your daughter?" Gayatri replied. "Well, I already called her my daughter since she was eleven...when we first met. So, I have priority."

"Ah, but I'm the head of house," Lalit stated proudly.

"So you think," Gayatri replied.

"What do you mean?"

"You know what I mean old man," Gayatri simply stated.

Everyone laughed in good spirits as the two elders fought over who's daughter Heer was. When the door bell rang the family took their positions around the foyer and Kulraj rushed forward to open the door to greet the newly wedded couple. Prem had a bright smile on his face as he saw how eager his family had been waiting for them. Heer gave polite but shy smiles at receiving such attention.

"Let's begin," Gayatri stated as she stepped forward with the prayer plate.

After the aarti was performed Kulraj placed the ceremonial rice pot in front of Heer. She gently kicked it over and then dipped her feet into the red vermillion paste and walked across the threshold into the house. Lalti and Gayatri beamed happy smiles and warmly welcomed her into their home with a hug.

******************************************

Some pleasantries were exchanged before Heer made her way to the kitchen to cook a sweet for the family. Prem sat on the couch with his hands clasped together and his elbows resting on his legs in nervous contemplation at how Heer was doing in the kitchen. Ginger sat at attention by her owner feeling the anxiety in the air. "Ahh-le Bhai...are you nervous?" Prem looked up and saw the entire family looking at him. He looked down blushing that he had been caught. "Wah, he is," Kulraj continued to tease. "She's the one cooking and you're the one sitting over here on the comfortable couch."

"Don't worry son, we are not going to kick her out of the house if she can't successfully make a sweet for us," Lalit chuckled as he patted his back.

"Bhabhi makes awesome sweets," Preet smiled. Everyone looked at him wondering how he knew this piece of information. "What? I happened to go to their house cause Aunty asked me to drop off some books that Teji Aunty wanted to borrow. They were making barfi. Heer Bhabhi was in the kitchen helping," looking at Prem, "So, nothing to worry about." Prem nodded and tried to settle his anxious emotions. "Too bad you missed out...if you had been living here at the time you would have gotten to taste it."

"That's right...what are you going to do now...you'll be leaving for London next week," Kulraj said with some concern. "Is Heer going with you?"

"We've talked about that. She's coming with me for a week or so and then once I'm finished with the project we'll go on our Honeymoon. I'm going to see if I can transfer to the Atlanta office," Prem replied.

"What if they don't have any positions?" Lalit inquired.

"Then I'll move back and look for a job here," Prem stated. "I know how important it is for Heer to stay at the clinic. It will be easier for me to switch jobs than have her leave the clinic and look for something else out in San Francisco. I don't mind. I get to come home. Ma...Bauji...you don't mind looking after Ginger for a few more weeks for me, would you?"

"No of course not...she's become part of the family here," Gayatri smiled. "It makes no sense to bring her back to California when you are moving back down here anyways."

"Thanks."

"Prem moving back down here...you'll get to eat Ma's cooking more often," Kiran teased. "Fresh samosas, hot puris, stuffed okra..."

"Palak paneer, chicken curry, pakoras..." Preet continued.

"Okay, you two can stop salivating," Kulraj laughed. "Anyways, why would Prem be eating Ma's cooking all the time? How do you think Heer's going to feel?"

"I can't come on the weekends?" Prem asked with a gentle pout on his face.

"Of course you can Beta," Gayatri chuckled.

"I'm going to tell Bhabhi," Preet threatened.

"What, you say it's like I'm committing a crime," Prem defended.

"Bhabhi is going think she can't cook," Preet explained. "Not a good idea to start off on the wrong foot...tsk...tsk..."

"I'm not doing anything wrong...she can go visit her parents...why can't I visit mine?" Prem replied furrowing his eyebrows.

Gayatri gave a disapproving look to her nephew while he simply gave his signature cheshire grin. "Preet come sit here," she commanded. He obediently followed her instructions and sat down next to her on the couch. She took his hand and rhythmically patted his hand in a motherly manner. "So have you found a nice girl yet? Your mother has been asking. I've been telling her not to worry. He'll find a nice girl soon. You know she's been thinking about going to a marriage bureau back in India to find you someone."

Preet's eyes widen and he swallowed uneasily. Prem and Kiran tried their best to stifle their laughter but it was hard to mask the fact that their faces were turning red. "Boys, boys, boys..." Kulraj said shaking her head sadly.

"Bbbut it's heheh...funny..." Prem puttered.

"Can you image Preet married? He can barely tie his shoe laces," Kiran laughed.

"Hey! Bunny ears playing by the tree...criss-crossed the tree and then jump into the hole and pop out the other side...beautiful and bold," Preet explained. This only made Prem and Kiran titter over themselves. Even Kulraj couldn't help but laugh along with them. "What?!"

"Oh, God...Preet," Kulraj sniffled trying to maintain some control. "You seriously say that every time you tie your shoe laces?"

"Not aloud," Preet replied with a pout. "It's hard tying shoelaces. Excuse me if I have to use the rhyme to help me."

"At least he has a good job," Lalit muttered. "He can take care of his family."

The light conversation continued as the family playfully teased one another and reminisced fun times together. Heer soon emerged from the kitchen bringing a tray of small bowls. She smiled nervously as she placed the tray on the coffee table. Prem gave her an encouraging grin when she served the first two bowls to her father-in-law and mother-in-law. "I hope it tastes all right," she replied. She turned around and served Kiran and Kulraj their bowls and then looked at Preet and Prem, "I have more in the kitchen."

"Mommy is that kheer?" Ketan asked excitedly. "I love kheer!"

"Haan Beta it's kheer," Kulraj replied and gave him a spoonful. She looked up at her brother and teased, "She made your favorite sweet." He bowed his head blushing with happiness.

"Mmm...it's good," Ketan beamed.

"Is it?" Kulraj inquired.

"It is. Very good," Lalit said nodding his head.

"Don't eat so fast," Gayatri replied. "You're only getting one bowl."

"What?" Lalit asked as his eyebrows rose in disbelief.

"You have to watch what sweets you eat. I saw you yesterday 10 ladoos?"

"It was my son's wedding," he defended. "And this is my daughter-in-law's kheer. She made it for me to eat," guarding his bowl afraid his wife was going to take it from his hands. Kulraj, Kiran, Prem, and Preet all slightly chuckled at his reaction.

"No one is taking your bowl," Gayatri replied. "You just can't have anymore."

"That's not fair," Lalit whined.

Heer soon returned with two more bowls of kheer. "Thanks Bhabhi," Preet smiled as he took the bowl from her hands.

"It's really good Heer," Kulraj complimented.

"Yes, excellent," Gayatri praised.

"I love it," Lalit grinned and gently lifted his bowl upward towards her direction.

"I'll get you more Bauji," Heer obediently stated.

"That's all right, he's had enough sweets for the day," Gayatri said.

"Bauji can take mine," Prem replied ignoring his mother's words. "Here you go Bauji," giving his bowl to his father.

"That's my son...see, won't deprive his father of food," Lalit proudly stated. "Unlike some people..." shifting his eyes towards his wife with a grumbling look.

"Let him eat to his heart's content," Prem defended, "Then the next two months...nothing but veg and healthy food...no sugar in his chai...no butter on his roti...nothing fried..."

Lalit's face paled and he put down the bowl of kheer, "Um..." clearing his throat, "I think your mother is right...I should know my limit." Everyone in the living room burst out in a fit of laughter at his remark.

"Go ahead and eat," Gayatri sighed. "It's a special occasion...this doesn't happen every day."

"I'll get another bowl for you Prem," Heer said and began walking towards the kitchen.

"It's okay I can get it," Prem replied and started following her into the kitchen. He could hear his sister teasing to everyone that he was just doing this so he could be alone with his wife. The rest of the family laughed at her joke and then continued to make fun of him.

When he entered the kitchen Heer turned around and instructed, "Go back to the living room Prem. I can handle this."

"Kul Di was partly right," Prem replied as he placed his hands around her waist. "Congrats on the kheer...everyone loved it."

"You haven't had any yet," Heer frowned.

Prem pulled her closer, "Then feed me."

"Prem..." Heer said in alarm as she placed her hands on his chest trying to push him back. "Your family...what if someone walks in here?"

"They are in the living room enjoying the kheer and making fun of me," he replied. Putting on his best pouty face, "Come on, feed your husband. You know kheer is my favorite."

"Why do you think I made it?" Heer slyly stated. She then looked down and noticed they were not alone in the kitchen. "Ginger's here."

"So? It's not like she hasn't seen her Dad and Mom cuddling before," Prem stated reminding her of the magical week they had spent together. "Please?"giving his best pouty face look. Heer nodded and walked to the counter to fix him a bowl of kheer. She giggled as she felt him stand behind her and slip his arms around her waist. He sighed as he snuggled his check against her cheek.

"Prem, you are going to make me spill this," Heer replied and gently pushed her shoulder back to make him back away.

"Sweetheart, don't be so cruel to me." He tucked a strand of hair over her left ear and then placed a kiss on her earlobe. "I love you."

"I know."

"You do, do you? How much?" Prem asked.

"A lot," Heer answered as she turned around with a bowl of kheer in her hands. She lifted the spoon up indicating she was going to feed him. Prem grinned and obediently opened his mouth. He quickly chewed and then looked at her anxious eyes. Heer was pleased that her in-laws had enjoyed the kheer but the person's opinion that mattered the most to her was her husband.

"I love it," Prem simply stated.

"Really?"

"Mm-hmm," Prem nodded and eagerly opened his mouth for another spoonful. Heer fed him another bite before he took the spoon from her hand and lovingly fed her. "What do you think?"

"Not bad, I guess," Heer replied.

"Not bad? It's awesome," Prem stated. "Thank you for making this."

"You're welcome." She smiled as he gave her a few sweet pecks on the lips. Giggling as they took turns feeding each other, in a world of their own, they were startled when they heard someone clearing their throat by the doorway. They turned with wide eyes to see Kulraj smiling at them.

"Wah, look at my romantic brother," she teased. Prem lowered his hand and put the spoon back into the bowl of kheer. "Too cute..." Heer stepped away and pretended to fuss over the left over kheer cooling in a large glass bowl. "Don't worry about it Heer. I'll put it in the fridge once it has cooled a bit. I was just letting you know that your brother is here."

"Oh, Nihaal is here?" Heer inquired. "He's early." She then quickly rushed out of the kitchen to escape the embarrassing situation.

Prem blushed and lowered his head. "Kul Di..."

His sister laughed and pinched his cheek. "Mr. Romantic..." hitting his shoulder, "Go to your wife's house. You're brother-in-law has come to come pick you up."

"Haan," Prem nodded and started to walk away.

"Remember to mind your manners. Be careful with your flirting," Kulraj teased laughing heartily. Prem just sighed at his sister's words.

Grace thank you so much 😃
part 4 is filled with fun 😃
It's so cool you brought back Bauji, Kul di, Kiran jiju and Preet's masti, G3 was nice too.😃
PH were cute and adorable. I'm happy finally they talk about things openly lol
It took them long enough phewww
So umm the London trip - will thete be anything exciting happening. PH tour in weekend or not?
Since G3 made a point of mentioning Preet's marriage, are we going to meet his girlfriend in next ch. is there any Preet Meher , and family scene coming up.
It seem like the story is going in that direction but you surprise us a lot so can't be sure :P
I loved the scene before , during and after of Kheer scene 😆 it was v heartwarming family moment / PH cuteness 😆
We didn't see how Heer's parents handling things after PH wedding other than brief convo
at wedding. Lets see what Nihal and his parents are up to.

Look forward to see what's up next. Thank you for your time Grace. You're awesome!
