WELCOME TO DIRECTOR'S CUT

Dear Fellow Viewer & Reader, welcome to yet another edition of DC, what shud i say about this episode .. ok it moved .. yea the track moved .. to where it was to move .. yea the family .. & arnav now know the Kid has diabetes .. Khushi .. is now even more psyched than before .. Arnav is so in love .. that the haze surrounding his eyes .. belies him from seeing what is really transpiring right below his nose .. hmm .. oh well just another day at IPK .. Oh .. & did u see .. Akash was around ... but the best thing in the episode was .. Arnav .. yeh .. apna Chikna arnav .. all clean shaven finally !!! ( ahem .. this time he was resembling the clean shaven kid 😉😉 ) ..

As i sat to watch this episode .. i had zero expectations .. for me the execution of this track was the lowest of the low that IPK had ever hit .. i must admit ..the first viewing of Kailash Khabri .. was a fav of mine .. but today .. even Kailash Khabri failed to elicit a smile from me .. i kept .. wondering about Khushi .. is she real ?? can someone be like this .. ??

thats when some clouds cleared .. yea the execution disasters of the past few days .. was clouding my thinking .. yea i was hating the execution so much that i fell out of sync with the characters .. so .. tonite .. thot .. lets .. meet up with the characters again ..

Tonite its a simple .. IS KHUSHI FOR REAL ???

To many of us here .. career women .. probably go getters .. a lot of us .. would find a character like Khushi unreal .. cause the way she reacts to an incident .. or a thot .. is a complete roundabout bizarre way .. she becomes Over the top in her antics .. but what confused me .. she was also the woman .. who cold bloodedly .. plotted the ouster of shyam .. not once but twice ..

This dichotomy in characterisation .. tonite puzzled me .. thats when it struck me ..

If Arnav Singh Raizada .. suffers from Abandonment issues ..

Khushi Singh Raizada .. suffers from Insecurity issues .. a simple .. i dont "deserve" to be happy .. or rather .. i "cant " be happy ...

the girl Khushi .. though is today married to arnav singh raizada .. though she knows at some level .. he loves her .. but how much does she believe in this love of his .. or rather .. how much does she believe she "deserves" this love ..

This is where her insecurity crops up ...

Lets trace back .. the one thing .. which arnav ... has always drummed in her from day 1 .. has been .. her "aukaat" her "status" .. while she has vehemently fought with him on this .. but does she really believe . she is "the" woman for him .. or is the shadow of the woman .. "lavanya" to big for Khushi to overcome ..

Now if we trace back .. the first entry of Kailash Khabri .. (was wondering .. why they showed him here ?? ) .. at that point .. Khushi misjudged Arnav .. thinking he wanted to "let go" of Khushi so that he cud marry lavanya .. the woman he truly loved .. to her .. the type of woman deserving Arnav .. was a woman like Lavanya .. remember Khushi being provincial to her .. the status symbol wud be a ultra modern woman .. & this was drummed by arnav from day 1 to her .. through his "aukaat" dialogues.

When Arnav got kidnapped .. & he spoke out his true feelings to Khushi .. "I love You " on the phone .. yes she was happy at first .. yes he loved her .. but the moment the cold reality hit her .. she felt .. he said I love you to her .. which to her meant he was in trouble .. her insecure mind cudnt fathom ... the I love You as a emotional outburst .. of his true feelings for her ...

The whole .. Post kidnapping .. Anjali .. miffed with Khushi track .. & khushi leaving Arnav .. was Khushi's insecurities at play once again .. to her .. for him to be happy .. he has to have his sister happy .. she cant fathom .. that for arnav to be happy .. she is now a critical ingredient .. hence the whole i am ur wife till a certain period ...

After this was resolved by Arnav .. & she came back to him & it was time to move forward .. her insecurities rose up again .. when she was reminded .. theirs was a "radha Krishna" relation ... Now guys pause here .. i had asked u guys this question repeatedly in the past .. why did the CVs at the end of each rasam highlight the fact that this was done in the past as well .. well today we know .. it was highlighted .. to underline ... this basic character trait of Khushi's .. her insecurities .. her .. feeling if they have not done the pheras .. they r not married .. her wanting the whole .. rasam in front of all .. so that she now has legal rights over him .. cause .. for KHUSHI KUMARI GUPTA .. the emotional rights that she has over Arnav .. dont seem STRONG ENUF ..

Now when u put all this in perspective .. u get this track a bit more clearly .. while .. right in the beginning .. one got the feeling that this track was about Khushi .. & finally the twist in the end will be unravelling of the conspiracy theory ... but .. today .. the whole track was a bit more clearer to me ..

yes i always felt the track will be a 3 layered approach ..

the first will be kid

the second shud be about the couple

the third shud be about the TWIST ..

( i am not predicting the track here pls .. so pls dont ask me any questions regarding the same) ..

This like any other track of IPK .. will be about .. KHUSHI ... & the KHUSHI ARNAV LOVE STORY ..

if the last track was getting Khushi the legal status as Mrs. Arnav Singh Raizada .. this track will be about .. Khushi finally letting go of her insecurities .. & embracing .. their love ...

A few days back ... i had mentioned .. Arnav .. put kHushi on the pedestal of his mom .. ( i guess Bidz) asked me .. did he raise her over his sister .. my answer to that is .. Arnav is clear from day 1 .. one is his devotion .. one is his love .. now its just for the ladies to understand the same ... does he really need to place one higher or lower .. Khushi has shown unconditional love to him .. while .. to anjali he has shown unconditional love ..

Tonite .. if u concentrated on the episode .. this is what will come out strongly ... the insecure KHUSHI .. her line of questioning arnav .. was reeking of a woman .. who actually wanted her husband to come right out & say .. yea .. babe i "did" sheetal ... it was pitiful ... Arnav .. picked up on a bit of the signal .. which was her worry for the child having diabetes .. but he failed to pick up on .. why KHUSHI really "felt bad" .. ... he equated her questioning to her "jealousy" ... coz when he was insecure about his love .. he was jealous .. thats what he has equated ... now it remains to be seen if arnav will hone into the right signal .. & tune into Channel Khushi

While the episode did .. unravel the mystery that was the reason of the OTT madness shown .. we here have poked enuf fun on the whole .. khushi .. feeling that Aarav is Arnav son .. in a bizarre way .. tonite what struck me .. was why was the maker showing .. people in RM .. so casually likening the boy to Arnav .. not a single mind .. even that of Arnav .. was not running the same route as Khushi ... so what was the maker telling us .. yes this bizarre format of story telling probably was highlighting the main issue .. on Khushi .. insecurities .. only a woman .. who seriously doubts herself .. her worth .. her place in her man's life can .. can make such bizarre connections ..

Oh well .. while i understand the episodes .. it still doesnt take away from the fact .. that these are some of the worst executed episodes of IPK ... insecurity in a woman .. is a brilliant thot process of the story writer .. but .. unfortunately .. the screenplay .. & direction .. ruined one of the BEST TRACKS OF IPK till date ..

I am hoping against hope .. that the aberrations are cleared .. & we get the see the real grain from the chaffe ..

When i sat to pen this post ... it was to write a blistering post .. i read some discussions here after a long time .. how a lot of u were unhappy with the use of Rabba Vey on .. Arnav & Shee tal ..

For me .. all these episodes eversince the Shyam ouster .. have been a slow death in creativity for IPK ... but tonite .. i saw something which truly saddened me the DEATH OF PASSION ..

The scene i refer to .. is Khushi crouching in the cuppboard .. & arnav .. opening the door for her .. ... he crouches & says " HI " to her .. now if u pause here .. u will know why it was death of passion .. i was at once catapulted to the scene on mehendi day .. Arnav .. opens the door to KHushi .. & says a husky "HI" ... thats the day .. probably a million girls fell for the character called Arnav Singh Raizada ... & today .. we saw the Passion from the character Die ...

Well thats it from me tonite ...

no anjali crying or demanding attention.. Check

atleast one hug a day.. Or a mini rabba vey.. Check

no mu between khushi n arnav . Check

then wats the problem?? Wat has gone wrong?? I thought i ll be ecstatic when i ll get all of the above together.. But something is missing.. I leave it to the experts to find out why and where they are going wrong..

Just some points to ponder:

1. I disagree with ritzy tat it was kamlesh khabris body double.. I don know why i have a gut feeling tat my beloved kamlesh has been replaced!! If they can replace kamlesh i don think they ll think twice before replacing anyone else!!!

2. Khushi is saying diabities.. With great accent n arnav is saying sugar ki bimaari!!! Wats going on!!!

3. Akash bhai just showed his face to point out how much the two asrs are similar to each other??? Next will be nk... N after that my beloved hp!!! N when shyamji comes back from tihar he can also join the fun!!!

4. Where has the attraction disappeared?? Who is directing?? Is it still LM?? I bet its that aman sardar!!! One day when he is confident enough we ll see his name in the credit.. Thats when we ll realise he was practicing with IPK episodes!!!! He should be fired pronto n sent to some ramayan or mahabharat set!!!

5. Why are the family members so excited tat chudail n son are staying at rm??? Especially nani??? i think i know the answer...she wants a grand child n payash n arshi are not taking the hint!!! They should get to work.. So tat mami anji n nani don get excited to have any random nanha mehmaan in rm!!!

6. Anji u are still irritating!!! Please spend more time doing bhajans we ll understand.. N 4lions forgot abt getting harshad chopra for ya.. So u can reduce ur make up a bit..

7. Asr studied in harvard.. Which is in us .. Massachesetts.. Fish n chips waha ki speciality kabsey bani?? Koi nai fish n chips are famous in India also.. Us toh bhai us hai

Thats it for today guys!!! Kya karu addiction hai.. Cant live with.. Cant live without it.. Galey mein haddi types...

We have forgiven you for bringing in that stiff, bald guy for Barun...

We have also forgiven you for that 'Allergic to Combs n Hair Brush' girl for Sanaya...

Oh... we have forgiven you for Anjali's Body Double too...

Don't you ever forget how we kept going through the hardships of watching OP being replaced by JP and then HP... and another HP... and another HP... we forgave you for using The PEE Brothers' Body Doubles too !!!

Was it not enough to get the Body Doubles of Barun and Sanaya... that they had to bring in the Body Double of the best news anchor so far... Kamlesh Khabri!!

I mean...

WHAT THE !!!!!

PS: Wish you all a very Happy Durga Pooja and a Happy Dussehra... May the Evils in the non-existant minds of the creatives of IPK are killed by the Goods in their hearts !!!! Let us pray... May we get the IPK charm back !!! May we get our Arnav and Khushi back... May we get uninterrupted Rabba Veys back !!!! May we also get the nostril flared, curly haired Kamlesh Khabri back !!!!

Insecurity - Basically means the person is not secure about things in their life either lacking self-confidence or assurance.

This is the state of Khushi today, the ugly head of INSECURITY is rearing its head again -

Khushi who has never been secure about her relationships in her life has always been made aware of it time & again be it before marriage by either Garima & Buaji with their taunts that she is adopted & always she felt that she is doesn't deserve the love & happiness so she took on her own head to help the family financially so that she could earn her happiness & love.

So now post marriage - that's HATE marriage I mean - there was nothing much to say as she knew the equation... she was on to her OTT ways to derive the truth but yes as Ruby mentioned as soon as she hears La's name her INSECURITIES rose even though she had accepted the equation & we got the suicide track where Arnav had to state it precisely that Lavanya meant nothing, nothing at all to him. Yes later we did have status, characterless & gold digger rearing it ugly head.

Now lets see post kidnapping, ASR finally told her I love u, over phone & she dreamt... hut sequence happened, she later succeeded in saving him... they without words re-defined their relationship after cliff scene promising the life of togetherness. Khushi again dreamt all will be well... boom came ASR back - blamed her for all the bad things happened in his life was due to her, his life & his sister's life was so nice before she came in... & its due to her that Shyam was like that. INSECURITY which was slowly going off came up again. She blamed herself & believed it was all due to her. Later she went away giving the reason Buaji was sick so that Anjali & Arnav will be fine without her.

During the track of winning Khushi back & bringing her back to RM - ASR agrees to pay the outstanding rent of GH, Khushi insisted him not to pay & later was happy to accept it only if she could earn it as she felt secured & not dependent & more ever she felt she had earned it.

Now before the wedding track, all was going well & when Dadi accepts her giving family heirloom (bangles) she feels happy very happy infact but also tells Arnav that she is very afraid as she got so much happiness on a single day that she can't believe & so she is afraid.

Another instance which strikes me is Khushi sleeping in her taekwondo pose... she sleeps like that only in GH even with Arnav as she feels she has earned her position in GH...we have never seen her sleeping like that in RM even now after pheras, Arnav's actual I Love You & everything fine in their relationship... now I dont know if CV's have actually forgotten about this or is this another point which tells us that she is still not Secure in her relation. May be somewhere in the back of her mind she still feels "DO I DESERVE THIS? THIS LOVE? THIS MUCH HAPPINESS"

So in yesterday's episode Khushi states a dialogue which defines her state of mind & Insecurity - "Everything was going fine, I don't know from where this child came, from the time the child came into my life everything has gone haywire like a typhoon"

So Insecurity has yet again knocked the door & hopefully this will be final one where she will be able to address this with Arnav's help once for all get this sorted out.

Before leaving I would like to add a point which Payal pointed out -

Arnav has/had Abandonment issues & he reacts to this by Anger, alienating people, lashing at them etc., similarly Khushi has this Insecurity issue which she address it by her Sanki attitude so guess we have got this Comedy track.

But yes I agree with all that IPK currently is facing BIG execution issues & as loyal fan (& yes I'm still saying LOYAL) I hope we will see better days.

& also yes today's episode left me spell bound & speechless & can utter only 2 words for execution...

* can KKGSR get any cuter😳 ... inside the cup board.. munching her channe n sharpening her detective brains 😆... for new plans ...

What can I say other than "What The". The first segment was nice.Khushi has a sinking feeling when she hears Aarav has diabetes.Both the ladies come back to RM with Khushi in a pensive mood. Sheetal,the fake,proceeds with her masterplan...at the very oppurtune moment she gets a call from the house agents telling her that her shifting home will be delayed.She plays on the emotions of the entire Raizada household who are still blissfully unaware.Khushi being Khushi invites Sheetal and the kiddo to RM till her shifting is finalised.

ASR gets the feeling that something is just not OK but can't quite put his finger on it.He gets angry and rightfully so.

Khushi,the jhalli,tries to get ASR reveal what he "did" with Sheetal on a date😆.ASR has a clear conscience,he tells they ate,talked and then he dropped her home and went back.But Khushi is still not satisfied and the thought that goes in her mind literally bugs her,eats her her up.

Upto this point the episode was tolerable.After that it again went OTT comedy way...Khushi hiding in the cupboard was cute but Kamlesh Khabri? Again?

Ladies,IPK is again going the "suicide "track way😕.

Just asking : Will there be a 360 of "you have no character"...this time Khushi throwing away ASR's plants just as ASR had thrown away Khushi's stars? Will Khushi break their photo frame? Will Khushi rant and rave? Will we see this angry side of Khushi with ASR trying to pacify her?

How will ASR deal with Sheetal?

How will the family react?

Will ASR be hurt that Khushi did not have faith in him?

Who actually is Aarav?

Ok so I don't get it! First he says he knows it'll be awkward for khushi if his ex stays under the same roof because he has already been through it, then without finding a solution to the problem,they suddenly smile and khushi goes on with her investigation! The whole scene was just random! Jumped from one to another in matter of seconds!! :S

When was Aakash introduced to Sheetal and Aarav?
When did Aarav walk in with Bag??
Kamlesh khabri change ho gaya!! Just like the Hp's Op's or any other P's!!!

So as per Kamleshji's advice, Khushiji is gonna try hypnotism but before that it seems it's time for some DNA testing!

I don't like Sheetal! I am done wasting my time on her! I want her to go down!! Fast and hard!! :@

P.S- I found the interaction between ArHi cute but not what I had in mind when I was thinking about the track! All I wanted was some maturity, is that too much to ask?

Loved Loved the episode today!!!!!!!!

Khushi the resident sanka devi has hit the proverbial pair on the Kuladi - the axe. Invited trouble into her house...all out of her good intentions. I really liked the conversation between the devil and the angel bit - shows how conflicted she is and so very real. I am super happy they are not making her mahaan and all...she is very human and her emotions and insecurities are very very real.

Now, ASR - loved that teeth gritting bit...totally showed that he was not on board with the idea...and not happy with Khushi's decision. He chides her about it..and she says - its cool. Really? I dont think she was cool..she was putting up a brave front; bottling up all those emotions.

The poolside conversation next, BS and SI were in their elements here...they have such wonderful chemistry, its hard not to notice how comfortable they are with each other, how attuned to each others cues they are..😃. So Khushi tries and tries to find out if they were intimate...but jalebis got in the way...I was not able to gauge if Arnav truly understood what she was trying to say...but if I had to take a guess, it would be NO. I will try and reason why here:
Khushi has been shown to be a very innocent, naive type of person; so first off, I dont think he expected that line of questioning. Additionally, if he caught on, he is super direct a person, so he would have said - mincing no words - NO KHUSHI - I did not sleep with her. But he didnt. So I will take Khushi's take - and say, no he didnt get it and she didnt get her answer.

So - the cupboard scene - took me back to the first sequence when she hid in his cupboard and then when ASR hid in hers..both lead to some great moments between the 2 - and I am expecting the same here. No comment on the google eyed KK - he was OTT - but we will get hypnotizing Khushi - ASR tomorrow...and my bets are on Khushi getting hypnotized herself...and ASR getting some cute confession out of her...better yet, a nice Rabba Ve.

I like how the track is building up...we are in for hard core drama, once the DNA test is done. Fasten your seat belts (rubs hands in glee and runs for popcorn)
