Lavanya and NK walked inside the home and was surprised to see the decorations.
"What the hell is going on?", lavanya said out loud.
"I think some function!", Nk replied and they both exchanged looks.
They walked inside the home.
All the family members were in the sitting lounge having their tea.
"Hey lavanya ji and NK bhai, when did you came?", anjali asked when she saw them heading towards the lounge.
"Just now di! Di, what are these decorations for?", NK asked.
Anjali gave him her big, innocent smile, "NK bhai, your Nanav is getting engaged tomorrow!!!", anjali anounced.
That was the moment of pure shock for lavnaya and NK.
They just realized their feelings for each other and now this.
When I want to get engaged to ASR, nobody bothers to have a function and moreover ASR didn't agreed.
But now when I found someone more caring and loving, the one who loves me, they are planning this 'so- called' engagement, lavanya thought.
NK didn't knew what to say...He was silent, lacking for words.
It feels like all his dreams are once again shattered.
"But di, you didn't tell me!", lavanaya cried for explanation.
"Oh, lavanya ji! this whole thing is only for you, my dear. I know that you were so upset about yours and chotey's relationship. And i can't see you upset like that so i asked chotey and he finally agreed!"
"He agreed!", lavanaya couldn't believe his ears.
How can he agree when he doesn't love me?
Why did he??
Anjali nodded.
"But di, I'm not prepared for this!", lavanya said.
"No,no,no,no lavanya ji...Not a word!!! Every girl says this that she is not prepared...Now go and rest a bit. You look very tired...Tomorrow is your big day...Now I don't want to listen a word...!!!"
How could she not listen to me?
"Di, listen to me...I and NK...", but anjali wasn't prepared to listen anything like she wasn't when arnav wanted to explain.
Anjali asked payal to take lavanya to her room and payal did so.
NK stood there, like a statue...
He didn't knew what to say...
Oh God, why?
Why you always give happiness for just a single second and then shattered all of ours dreams like
hell...!?
Its unfair...!!! Why???
Why you can't see me happy? Why, why , why???

Arnav was inside his room...
He can't believe what khushi said...!!
he had never seen khushi like this before...
I know that she still loves me but then why she is doing all this?
She wasn't even ready to listen what i have to say...
Why are khushi and di acting like this...
Why aren't they listening to me...????
Arnav then sat on the recliner and held his head in his hands...
He was depressed...
of what was going on in his house...
of what happened to khushi...
of what happened to everyone...

Khushi left Raizada mansion without even telling anyone because she knew that if she would then nobody would let her come...
She went straight into her room and locked the door.
She came here after that horrible night, when she attempted suicide...!
Khushi dropped herself on her bed, while aditi was outside her room and was knocking the door as she was worried that khushi might try to hurt herself...
"Ady, Stop it...I'm not going to kill myself!!!", khushi cried with almost tears in her eyes...
"Khushi, please...open the door...!!! let me in...!! you even didn't tell me what arnav said...! c'mon"
"Go AWAY!!!!", khushi snapped...
Aditi, then said nothing and sat there outside, waiting for her to come out. But she knew that khushi wouldn't come out until tomorrow...
Oh God!!! please let things all right for my dear friend...!!
I just can't see her like that...
She had suffered too much...!!

On the other hand lavanya was also in the same situation...
Crying silently as she can't get what she wanted and di wasn't listening to her...
I was so happy a minute ago and now i feel like dying...
It's not just fair...
I just can't let this happen at any cost...!!

~~ THE NEXT DAY - EVENING (ENGAGEMENT) ~~
Anjali called some make-up artists for lavanaya's make-up and they were doing their job.
Lavanaya was sitting on the stool infront of her dressing table and was getting ready for the engagement...
She was wearing a white dress, a pink rose on the top of her left ear...
She was looking gorgeous.
NK received a text message from lavanaya saying not to worry and everything would be fine...
NK was still praying that everything gets better...
What else he can do...
Everybody at Raizada mansion was ready, even Arnav...
But he looked like as he hadn't slept well, dark circles under his eyes, swollen eyes...
Anjali asked him but he assured her that everything is fine when it's not...!!!
The Gupta's also came, even aditi was there but no sign of khushi.
Arnav's eyes were finding her but when he didn't saw her, he clenched his fists.
You're not doing the right thing khushi...he thought.
Everybody asked for khushi but aditi said that she had loads of office work to do and she wasn't actually feeling well.
This was what khushi asked her to tell everyone...
"But she sent best wishes to both of you", aditi said mentioning arnav and lavanya...
After all, the main part of the day came.
Anjali brought the rings. First she handled the ring to arnav so that he could put the ring in lavanya's finger.
Arnav didn't took the ring from anjali, he was actually lost in his own thoughts.
Anjali gave him a questioning look, "Chotey! take it!!!"
Anjali's voice brought arnav back to the present...and he took the ring.
He looked at lavanya, and saw lavanya shook her head.
Arnav was puzzled.
All the past moments were coming in his mind..
how he met khushi...how they hate each other...how they gradually start liking each other...how khushi confessed...how she attempted suicide when arnav said that they can't be together...
And now arnav was there, putting the ring in lavanya's finger...
He moved his hand towards lavanya's and was about to put the ring when lavanya pulled her hand...
"I can't do this...!!", she blurted out , "I just can't!"
Everybody was shocked, including Arnav...
"Sorry di and everyone...but i have no other option...!!!", lavanya said.
Then she looked at arnav, "Don't you think there is someone waiting for you ASR!!"
"What?"
"yeah..!! why are you doing this when you love khushi!"
Everyone's jaws dropped when they heard this...
"is this true, chotey..? you love khushi ji?", anjali asked.
"how do you know, lavanya?"
"for heaven's sake, even if a little baby will be asked a question like this, he would give the same answer!! Go, ASR...she is waiting for you!!!"
Arnav can't believe this...The girl who was meant to be his girlfriend was actually saying this.
"But what about you?"
"ohh, i can't be more happy if you confess your love to khushi as i have someone waiting for me too...", lavanya said and looked at NK...
he blushed, "yeah, we love each other, everyone!"
Everyone was shocked to find out that messy love connections...
Even buaji and amma was shocked...Aditi couldn't control her happiness anymore, "Yeah, go arnav...she is at home...! don't waste a single second..."
"If its true then arnav bitwa, you should go...!", amma and buaji said.
Anjali walked towards arnav and cupped his face, "I'm sorry, chotey...So that was khushi ji, you were talking about that night? Oh God!! how stupid i'm that i didn't even listened to you...how much you and lavanaya ji tried to stop me from having this engagement..."
"No di...you don't have to say sorry...!! "
"Then what are you waiting for? Just go.!"
Arnav was so happy that he can't have words to describe how he was feeling...He grabbed his car key and left raizada mansion...
"I'm on my way khushi..."

Khushi was perfectly fine...Somehow she accepted the fact that Arnav can't be hers.
She have to manage herself.
She grabbed a juice bottle and went to terrace.
A layer of cool, misty breezed touched her face...
Khushi was feeling strange as if something big is going to happen...!
She turned around there was nothing...
Just a thought khushi, she thought.
She looked up at the moon and arnav came in her mind but before she could think more she shook the thought away from her mind.
i don't want to think about him anymore, she thought.
Arnav parked his car outside khushi's home, and hurried inside.
Fortunately the door wasn't locked.
He went inside her room, then in kitchen. He searched everywhere but didn't khushi...
"where the hell is she?"
Then arnav found the door to terrace open...He smiled and start heading towards the terrace.
As khushi heared footsteps, she turned her face and saw Arnav standing there.
she was shocked.
"What the hell are you doing here?", she blurted out.
Arnav start coming closer to khushi.
"I think i have asked something...Aren't you supposed to be attending your engagement...and how many times i have to say it that please don't come after me...Leave me alone...I don't need you in my life...I..."
before khushi could say something more, arnav put his hand on her mouth, "shhh", he said, "Not a word"
Arnav lessened the distance between them.
Khushi widened her eyes, she was shocked of what he was doing.
She gulped.
Arnav, then removed his hand from her mouth and cupped her face in his hands and moved his head towards hers and then,
slowly whispered in her ears, "I LOVE YOU!"
