We all know what happened yesterday...the legendary Yash Chopra passed away 😔 However, he left behind him a great legacy. Everyone remembers many of his films and consider them to be classics. However, right now I want to talk about one film: DDLJ, a film that is still running 17 years later as we speak at a theatre in Mumbai.

What I want to talk about is related to director. Yes, Aditya Chopra directed it, but how much of an influence do you guys think Yash Chopra may have had on the direction of the film? Been thinking about this a lot because some will say that it was all Aditya Chopra, some will say all Yash Chopra, while I think it was both.

This isn't meant to be a discussion on who is better between Aditya and Yashji or anything like that, it's just a question about how much influence do you guys think Yashji had on the film's direction? 😊

I believe Adi (and even Uday) have had a great bond with their father Yash ji. Even though the 'director' title belongs to Aditya Chopra, I am sure his father has had a TREMENDOUS role in the making of the film. (This also goes for every other film directed by Adi). Yash ji's impact is of such. From what I know both sons were quite close to their father. And even though the director status belonged to Adi, Yash ji must of had a big contribution to the film.

May God give strength to Adi, Uday, and Pam Auntie for their loss. It is just so unfortunate. Yash Uncle will live on in everyone's hearts FOREVER! And his legacy will NEVER be forgotten.
