what is the difference between jayam and vijayam?
why the festival is called vijayadasami instead of jayadasami....
jayam means victory achieved by humans...here only human power is involved...
whereas vijayam means victory achieved with god's power...
so the 10 th day is called vijayadasami ..because the mother supreme... goddess of gods achieved victory ...
