Episode Discussion: 19th Oct 2012

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

For those who cannot watch can have the Live/Written Updates.

****I am opening the thread quite early today. I have to attend back to back meetings and I will not be available to open the thread at the regular time...so that explains the absence of the LU link.

Highlight: Shamsher's attack to kill RK foiled by Madhu

Other than the highlight of the episode...Shamsher Malik, the interesting things in today's episode were:

The fight

Seeing Rishabh and Madhubala Kundra fighting together against the killer. I just loved the scene, both on the same side and yet not doing the eye-locks or caring-sharing. They just were in action.

The mockery

And if yesterday's episode ended at the counter-question of Madhu to Rishabh Kundra, and he was stupefied, Madhu today quickly brought her concern into action. She knows Rishabh's need to be concealed behind RK. So she immediately makes it light by turning the seriousness into a mockery of him.

Waise Rishabh Kundra mere hosh mein aate hee tum mujhpe ahsaan jataate

Rishabh catches that and answers back

Mazaak lagta hai yeh sab tumhe

That definitely takes them to a next level, where Rishabh can be mocked and he retorts just in vexation at being mocked and not turn into a RK. Isn't that an achievement for Madhu that she did not let Rishabh become a RK when trying to answer her mockery ?

Last one was insight into Deepali -- for the first time.

Baap ne career bigaada, beta zindagi bigaada

We now what Kukku and Sikky Bhatia mean to her.

kya kahoon kya kahoon...yeh ankhein taras gayi hai Madhu-RK ko 5mins akela dekhne ke liye...i had such big dreams that after the attack they may have a few moments alone...but obv we're not that lucky... upar se no precap... how will this weekend go by?? :(

So, the cvs took the easy way out...RK took Madhu's query as a rhetorical one!

I had such dreams.😭

My first take...a ham-handed episode, all rushed and all over the place.

RK's security sucks big time...one somnambulant,, partially deaf and out of shape constable with a lathi for protection.!!

Not a doctor or nurse in sight to attend to the patient...Madhu running in and out of the so-called ICU like a headless chicken.
And, flowers, in an ICU where all and sundry walk in and out like it was a park.

Didn't see the need for KuKu/Sicky scene...what happened to the police who arrived at RK mansion?

With that my rant is done.

The scene that saved the episode to some degree, Shammu's fury at Paddy's advocacy of RK.
Also, Shammu's expression when his daughter left him in mid-talk to rush back to her husband. Battle lines are drawn..watch out RK...wounded lion whose lost his cub on the loose.
