Sanjit(Dr.Omi) working on holiday!

"It is about how the lives of two young couples change when they are on a holiday trip. I play the character of Harsh, a rich guy, who habitually flaunts his wealth," says Sanjit. So how did Pooja zero in on him? "I was doing a play called 'On A Muggy Night in Mumbai' directed by Lillete Dubey. Pooja saw my performance and she appreciated it. Later when the casting for Holiday was being done, she thought of casting me."
The film is shot in Goa at J W Marriot where the on-screen couples go to spend their vacation. The film was executed pretty fast, given that they shot for 28 days in Goa and need another 15 days to complete the film. "The film has excellent music scores," he adds. Sanjit seems to be absolutely in awe of Pooja and quips, "she is excellent to work with. Being the producer and the director of the film, she handles most responsibilities with much ease. That's why she is a tough task master."

The film is scheduled to release during this Diwali. The actor was last seen on television in Sahara One's Saathiya opposite Shraddha Nigam. He is also set to play a cameo in a movie called Kudiyon ka hai zamana.

Says Sanjit, "People ask me why I accepted to play a cameo. My answer is if I get to play a cameo opposite Rekha whom I have idolized since childhood, then why not?" Kudiyon ka hai Zamana stars Mahima, Kim Sharma, Vasundhara Das and Ashmit Patel.
