Episode Discussion: 17th Oct 2012

Welcome to the Episode discussion thread which we call as Viewer's and Reader's Respite. That's very apt, don't you think ? 😉. And that proves our objective.

Objective behind the thread is

It helps in keeping the forum clean without much litter. People just need to fall in a habit.
We can have it like breathers at first followed by analysis.
It also helps like-minded souls and pals bond and gel together to drop in their thoughts for themselves as breathers and for their friends as a peep into the episode and for others to post their reviews.
And those from different time-zones, who do not get to watch the episode at this time of telecast (Indian 8:30 PM), without any worry to trace or keep track of all their buddy's posts, they can come here, read with leisure and later post their analysis after watching it from their Time zones.

Collated summary for episode : 17th Oct

It was big respite from Radhaji's glycerin !! Thank God.

And OUR HERO is BACK in ACTION. Big Relief. 😃

And as to ONLY TWO important scenes:

RK-Rishabh-Madhu

I loved him calling her Madhu. And that too so many times, trying to find out what transpired in the night and why she was taking care of him. Our temporarily Geet-turned-Madhu is evasive of all RK-Rishabh's prying prods, looks and touches.

Loved how she too referred the irritating pillows into the conversation like our dear Sonu. Their penchant! 😆 They played the two tracks around them. The Madhubala -title track tune (Ek ladki bheegi bhaagi si tune) and the piano track. I like these tracks. Makes me feel very much assured.

Honestly I did not like the OST Hum Deewane hai. Its not impressive at all. In comparison, you should listen to DABH and Afsar Bitiya OSTs. How melodious and beautiful they are. Infact DABH track made me watch the show for some days.

And the PH-Sourabh Tiwari's plan to use the song now at this time was kinda rushed, however it presented the much needed screen time for RK and Madhu story to play out. We can just look at both of them.

So am I right when I say that RK was actually was seeing Madhu peeping through the peep hole ? I sensed it that way. Did you all sense that way ?

Tanu beautifully expresses the torment of the two souls of RK and Madhu. The Need to be hidden and Need to be found Aura of Rishabh Kundra and the Need to care and Need to hold back feelings of Madhubala. Very beautifully written with her further going into the lyrics of the OST plated today. Must read one.

And Leela liked the song and has given her take on Madhu and rigmarole of emotions that she is going through, broadly stemming from her deewangi to care for Rishabh Kundra. Its on Page 2. https://www.indiaforums.com/forum/post/67474330.

Let me forget Doctor-Bittuji, Madhu-Radhaji and Madhu-Padmini scenes. Only one thing worth noticing and that is Padmini's Mangal sutra became the shorter one. Seems she misplaced her original longer chain one.

RK-Dips scene.

Happy that RK was still RK. He needs that exterior to protect himself, and not just for our entertainment. Dips will just eat him alive like a witch if RK becomes Rishabh in front of her. I could tolerate the scene as through the day I had lived the horror of the scene until FQ injected me with that hope potion of hers which leads us to believe that RK knows that their blood groups don't match. Ref to FQ from FQnama of 17th Oct. Fictional imagination and not shown in the soap drama today

Throughout the post, members have discussed the precap scene. Since,we are gonna have an episode tomorrow anyways, I shall leave that.

And what was that precap. 😕

Will watch tonight and see what's going. I got all wierd feelings reading the written update. Super Wierd feelings !! For a Shipper like me 😭 and now imagine how bad that is 🥺

Dipz took all the credit today for saving RK's life.. The funniest part she told RK that she is the one who donated the blood...🤣🤣.. I can't help myself from LOL...

Tomorrow precap looks interesting..RK is back

WHAT a Comeback!!! He is a true superstar... dimag pe tale nahi hai uske... he was sarcastic in the precap which proves that he won't fall for dipali's antics...

I would also like another thought that just came to my mind... by telling Madhu about his and Dips affair he is not only showing that he can share anything with her now... but he is also showing trust in her...that she wont leave him no matter what and its a slap to Dipali in other words... he showed her that he can tell his BIWI about their affair cause it meant nothing to him... Can't wait for tomorrow's episode...

The new Rishbala background song is fantastic.😃 So the declaration of ishq from Madhu's side has now had a musical prelude.😳 Just waiting to hear the male version of the song now for RK's side.

When RK's faith was restored, he received an unusual parting gift from his long-estranged friend Ganpati Bappa - Madhu's slow journey on the path to placing this man she's wedded to above God and every relationship in her life.😳

This is a girl who has never asked the Lord for anything, and just accepted that He would show her a way in every difficulty. But in Friday's ep, she finally crossed that Rubicon - for a man she has fought and yet become bonded to on a level that goes beyond coherence and thought, reason and logic.😳

And this was only the first time she will face such a Rubicon.

There will be many Rubicons, and of a variety that will try her on every level, testing her towering resolve, her generous noble heart, and her blazing stubbornness.😳

The new background song is lovely because it's a *prelude* to Madhu realizing and declaring her love.😃 In and of itself, the song is neither realization nor declaration of love as yet.😛

Madhu has realized only that she can't bear to see RK in pain, embarrassed, indebted, hurt or discomfited.😳

She can't even bear for anyone else - including her mother - to think RK owes her any debt.

The point where - without any reason or logic or coherent thought - she has placed his ease and standing above all other considerations is her second Rubicon, and today she crossed it knowingly but perhaps not with full understanding.😳

It may reasonably be assumed that Madhu probably doesn't even know what she is feeling.😊

There has hardly been a moment where she could sort out her thoughts or reactions.

Right now, she is making instinctive decisions charting a new course but without consciously thinking it through.😃

Her decisions are all rooted in protecting RK, his feelings, his dignity. She hasn't considered why she is doing it; she's just doing it with absolute unthinking determination.

Love and the realization of love will come later.😳

The song spoke of 'deewangi'. It is the one facet that holds in love as well as before and after love for both RK and Madhu.😃

The understanding that was there in both of their eyes for each other, an instinctive perception of what the other's actions and reactions must mean... It was phenomenal.

That was Rishbala, the heart and soul of this story not individually but as a composite whole.

Just watched it while eating breakfast here, big mistake there. I almost couldn't get it down cause of how much Dipali just disgusts me. They're definitely not trying to make her a character we love to hate cause I just don't even want her on the screen anymore. My shipper heart was broken a little today.

I have to agree though and say that I think that RK has something up his sleeve with his antics from the preview for tomorrow. That wasn't him being sincere, that was RK just before he's about to do something very RK-like. (did that make sense?)

I'm going to try and come back a little later after work. Seriously too annoyed by the last half of the show to comment anymore about it lol

In my annoyance I almost forgot to mention how I truly laughed out loud when Madhu mentioned the stupid pillows. It's like she's taking a page out of Sonu's book... 😆

ETA: Does anyone think that RK knows that it was likely Madhu that donated blood? I mean I didn't see anything but perhaps RK saw a bandage on Madhu one of the many times he grabbed her arm, more specifically today just before she left the room the last time. It's hard to tell cause this show is so inconsistent. They could just slap a bandage on Madhu for tomorrow. (... please excuse me if this is just me being delusional again lol)

EATA: Nevermind.. I just realized that she had blood drawn from the other arm.. Oh well. I guess we'll see what happens tomorrow.
