IMPORTANT NOTE: (EVERYONE MUST READ THIS)
This is officially the last chapter of this FF. Yes, it is. Now don't look at me like that.😆 I've written freaking 62 chapters and this is not a SP daily soap that will go on and on.😆
Although, I've decided to write an epilogue to this depending on whether you want it or not. Ofcourse, that will be after a leap of 2 years. So if you want the epilogue, please mention it in your comment. Otherwise, I'll assume it's a no.

After this chapter, you might hate me and yes, I'm ready for your hatred.😈 But I cannot help it. This was how I had envisioned to end the story when I began writing it. Bwaha ha ha!

**********************************************************************************************************

CHAPTER 62

"The truth is, everyone is going to hurt you. You just got to find the ones worth suffering for."

- Bob Marley

"AMAN!" Arnav yelled with horror and ran towards his best friend who collapsed on the ground on his knees. But before he could reach out to help Aman, he felt two strong hands appear out of nowhere and push him backwards and Arnav fell down flat on the ground, as his head thrashed against the rough stones on the ground.

The pain didn't bother him. Infact no amount of physical pain mattered when compared to the pain that existed in his heart right now. All he could see was his best friend in need of help. Years of kickboxing training helped him to reflexively jump back on his feet, but it was too late as another bullet shot straight into Aman's chest once again, this time closer to his heart. "AMAN!" He screamed loudly, and his eyes slowly travelled to the face of the man who shot his best friend ruthlessly while his evil laugh resounded through the entire forest.

"Finish all of them!" Ramcharan Das barked orders at his final four men who had survived this entire shootout. "Arnav Singh! I would love to deal with you with my own hands." He said and now pointed the gun at Arnav.

But Arnav was quick enough for him and with one hard kick, knocked off the gun from his hand.

"Kickboxer huh?" Das asked, a bit surprised at the attack, and the thirty six year old started to unbutton his shirt and threw it on the ground, revealing his hard chiselled tanned abs while he flexed his muscles warming them up.

Arnav's eyes darted to Aman who lay sprawled on the ground, the life slowly ebbing from his eyes. His best friend needed help and that too fast. On the other hand, he saw Khalid Bhai fighting the other men single-handedly, a few metres away from him.

Suddenly, his eyes widened with panic as the realisation slowly dawned upon him. Khushi! Where was she? But before his eyes could search for her, he felt one kick land directly under his jaw and his head went dizzy on the sudden impact. However, when Das was about to kick him for the second time, Arnav caught hold of Das's leg and blocking it, he locked his hands over it and using all his strength, he twisted the leg and Das collapsed with the excruciating pain throbbing in his nerves from the impact.

Arnav tried to push aside Das and run to Aman's rescue but it looked like the drug peddler was determined with his mission to finish off the young boy. Even when Das was lying flat on the ground with his painful leg, he tugged Arnav's leg forcefully, sending him too crashing on the ground beside him. And crawling towards Arnav, Das started to mercilessly punch his face with his fist while the latter struggled to defend himself and at the same time launch his own counter attack on his assaulter.

"If you had just shaken my hands and joined my side, you would be fighting alongside me, not against me." Das said through his gritted teeth as he grabbed Arnav's neck trying to strangle him, while on the other hand, Arnav tried to block Das's vision by scratching his face with his nails. "Never!" Arnav roared and toppled the drug peddler on his back as the latter finally came under his body.

This time it was Arnav's turn to punch Das's face and he didn't leave any opportunity to attack him back. He was nearly breathless as he brutally punched Das's face continuously, until his own hands pained and his knuckles were stained with his enemy's blood.

Blood!

The blood that stained his mother's clothes as she collapsed down on the floor, her voice echoing in his ears, asking him to run, run far away to a place where no one could find him.

She had sacrificed her life for him so that he could survive.

His father didn't want him to come into this world.

He was unwanted, illegitimate and unloved.

Arnav Singh Raizada felt his whole body paralyse as a strange horrifying feeling filled his entire body.

He was supposed to die when he was conceived.

He was supposed to die that fateful day when his mother was murdered.

He was supposed to die the first time he had met Khushi when he was rescued by her.

But yet, he had beaten all odds and survived.

One moment is all it takes to change your entire destiny. And Ramcharan Das seized that one moment of Arnav's weakness, that one opportunity to push away the completely dazed and devastated Arnav from his body, knocking him flat on his chest.

Suddenly, Arnav became aware of his surroundings, crashing back to the present, inhaling the dust on the ground that he lay on. He tried to roll over on his back and get up, but instantly felt a heavy weight lying on top of his body. Das had pressed his one leg on Arnav's spine, locking him on the ground, while he stood on top of him.

Arnav struggled using all his force to get up, but he simply couldn't, partly because Das was heavier and stronger and party because he was exhausted. His brain wasn't functioning properly. Everything was fuzzy and a haze, nothing made sense as to what was his hallucination and what was the reality.

"Pass me a gun!" he shouted out to his other men who were fighting against Khalid Malik. "And don't let him die that easily. After I'm done with this one, I'll take care of Malik too." The elder man was already exhausted fighting them off and knew that he was on the verge of defeat. If it was any other day, Khalid would have taken down an entire army single handedly. But today, even he was drained of his energy. In the past hour, too many things had happened, too many revelations and they hadn't even sunk into him properly, to cope up with them.

One of the men threw a gun at Das, but it fell a bit short from his aim and landed a metre away from him. Das groaned with displeasure and gazed at Arnav who was still struggling under his leg. Feeling that it was necessary to stun him for a few seconds until he grabbed the gun, Das moved his foot and using all his strength, kicked the side of Arnav's face, slamming it between his foot and the ground.

Arnav felt his entire vision blacken for a whole minute, followed by a warm feeling on his face and his lips soon tasted his own blood that flowed from the injury near his eye.

Was it the end? He wondered, as his pulse raced all of a sudden, the adrenaline kicking with the anxiety of his impending death.

"Khushi'" her name escaped his lips as he outstretched his hand on the muddy ground while his heart beat erratically. He didn't care if it was the end. He didn't care if he died. But that would mean leaving behind Khushi all alone, defenceless and he wanted to keep up his promise of keeping her safe. If not for him, atleast she had to survive. But where was she?

And then, when he had assumed that it was the end, he heard it.

"Let go of me." Das screamed as he struggled to free himself and Arnav opened his weakened eyes to see her grabbing hold of the gun in Das's hand and trying to snatch it.

Khushi had been hiding behind a tree all this while, terrorised and horrified at what was happening. She didn't even remember the last time she breathed. Her heart had been pounding violently against her chest as sweat beads of absolute panic rolled down her face.

Maybe it was Devi Maiyya's intervention that had saved her once again, but right when Aman had collapsed down and Arnav and her and rushed to aid him, her flip flops had slipped off her feet and she had stopped and remained behind for a few seconds, to wear them once again. However, after those few seconds, when she had looked ahead, she had noticed Das with the gun in his hand and her only reflexive reaction had been to move backwards to protect herself.

Then she had seen another bullet ram into Aman's chest and she had completely frozen with fear. Just when she had thought they were safe, all hell had broken loose. Luckily, she had escaped those men's eyes and no one had come after her.

And then everything had been a blur, as Arnav and Das had begun to fight against one another. She had tried to scream, shout, cry, yell as her darkest nightmare staged in front of her eyes, but her voice had completely failed her. Only helpless tears had rolled down her eyes and she had stood there, away from Arnav, feeling devastated and useless as she saw her love, her Arnav being thrashed mercilessly and the tragic part was that there was nothing she could have done to save him, except to cry out to the deities for help.

And then, she had heard the drug peddler ask for the gun and she had known this was the end.

But suddenly, she didn't know what happened to her, but it was a feeling of pure strength and bravery that filled her insides and involuntarily, she had started to walk towards Arnav as his words echoed in her mind.

"Do you know what I love the most about you?" he had said and she had curiously wondered what it could be.

Her smile? Her eyes? Her beauty? Her innocence? Her chirpiness?

"Your bravery. You are the bravest person I've ever met." He had replied with a genuine heartfelt smile and she had known he wasn't bluffing about it.

She had summoned all the bravery within her and without any ounce of hesitation, she had walked right towards Das and grabbed his hand, trying to snatch away the gun from his hand. She didn't bother that she did not even match half of his strength. She did not bother that she would be hurt in the process. The only thought that resonated in her mind was to save her Arnav.

He needed her right now and she would be damned if she didn't help him.

Das tried to wriggle his hand out of her grip but Khushi was determined to not let go of it. She clenched her sharp nails into his bare skin and he winced out with pain. With his one hand, he grabbed her hair to pull her away from him, but she still didn't let go of it.

"Arnav, get up!" she screamed loudly and she was sure that everyone present there heard her voice.

Das was definitely stunned by her strength that was nowhere near for a person of her stature. He tried to kick her instead, but Khushi successfully defended herself using the moves that Arnav had once taught her to defend herself.

"Arnav, get up and help me!" She yelled at him and saw his eyes slowly fluttering with life, the energy building up inside him.

Das twisted her hand painfully behind her back, forcing her back against his chest, but she still didn't let go of the gun. "Stupid girl! Leave it right now." Das screamed out in frustration, getting fully riled up with her actions, but there was nothing much he could do except to keep up with the struggle.

"ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA!" She yelled one last time and it seemed to work coz she finally saw his limbs moving and he tried to get up.

But maybe it was too late.

She didn't know whether she heard the sound of the bullet being shot, first or felt it lodge inside her body first. But there was enormous pain, an insatiable pain that would never die whatever you did to ease it.

Khushi tried to hold on to her perpetrator's hand, but the pain made it impossible to hold on and losing her balance, she fell forward on Arnav who was midway straightening himself and both of them fell back on the ground with the impact.

"Khushi!" he cried, his throat going dry as he held her tightly, cushioning her fall with his own body. It took a whole minute for his already devastated mind to take the final blow. His hand travelled over the wound on her back and he felt his hand get wet, stained with her blood. "No!" he yelled as the salty tears on her cheeks rolled and fell on his face mixing with his blood.

He stared into her eyes clouded with pain and he felt his heart shatter into a million pieces. He saw his worst nightmare come alive in front of his eyes.

"I love you." She whispered, holding on to his face dearly inspite of the excruciating pain in her back.

A laugh of triumph escaped the drug peddler's lips as he enjoyed Arnav's eyes widening with horror. "The lovers die in each other's arms. How romantic!" he said, spitting out the blood from his lips and raised his gun to shoot for the second time.

And Arnav stare blankly at those cold blooded eyes, waiting for the bullet to drive through his heart anytime soon.

But the drug peddler froze mid-air as the forest thundered with the sound of three bullets shot one after another and before he realised it, Ramcharan Das collapsed on the floor.

Dead.

A minute of absolute silence followed as everyone stared at the dead man with confusion. Arnav could no longer trust his eyes. He slowly pulled himself up, holding on to Khushi who whimpered on his chest with pain as her breathing got heavier and laboured with the shock on her body. Her hands and feet were slowly turning cold and he knew it wasn't a good sign.

Looking around to see who had shot Das, Arnav's eyes stopped at his best friend who was lying flat on his back, his arms and legs sprawled out, his one hand still holding the gun pointed where Das stood a minute ago. His lips were curved up with a huge smile but his blue shirt was fully red now, the blood pooling around his entire body.

Even as last traces of life ebbed away from his body, Aman had helplessly witnessed everything that had occurred for the past few minutes. But somehow, the sight of Khushi fighting Das all alone bravely had conjured up his final inner strength and he had reached out for his gun that lay a few centimetres away from his hand.

Alas, he had been a bit late, otherwise he would have saved Khushi from getting shot. But his limp upper body hadn't helped his cause and with the one bullet lodged in his ribs and the other closer to his heart, he knew it was over for him. His breathing had already slowed down and he could feel his pulse becoming weaker.

But he was happy that atleast he had shot down Das and saved his best friends life.

And now as he lay all ready to cross the oblivion, there was only one more unfinished business left for him.

Arnav stared helplessly at Khushi's face as she whimpered in his arms, while his best friend laid a few metres away from him. He knew that his worst fear had come true, when he had to choose between friendship and love.

Aman or Khushi.

Both needed him and he needed both in his life. His sick and cruel fate had played the same game all over again and put him in this dilemma.

No, he couldn't let it happen. He had to win this time.

Arnav made Khushi lie on the ground and rushed to help Khalid finish off the other men. With their boss already dead, they were haphazard and it was easy to gun them down.

"Bhai, Kh' Khushi is' shot." Arnav gasped and told Khalid Malik, pointing at Khushi lying on the floor. The elder man was already tired fighting off the men, but he knew he had to save Khushi and using all his remaining strength, he rushed to her aid. "Take her to the car. I'll go and check Aman." Arnav said and came running towards Aman.

"We'll get you to hospital." Arnav said, holding Aman's hand.

"Bhai!" Aman barely whispered, struggling to breathe. "Forgive me." He gasped for air but found none. "It's' all' my' fault." He tightened his fingers against his best friend's hand.

"What are you saying?!" Arnav screamed back with panic, knowing very well where this was heading but his heart still refused to believe it. Aman had bled a lot and it was clear he wouldn't make it. It was too late. "No, Aman, you'll be fine. Okay?"

"Please, forgive me." Aman begged repeatedly, the tears rolling down the sides of his eyes on to the dust.

"Yes." Arnav felt his throat choke, as tears rolled down his eyes.

"When' did you become' a Raizada? You never' told me!"

"A long story!" Arnav said, feeling his heart get heavier with each minute. "Don't die. Your family needs you." He cried, unable to hold it any longer. "I need you. Tomorrow is my marriage. You have to be there. You promised."

"Promises are meant to be broken." Aman smiled at him, struggling to keep up with it. "Go, Bhabhi needs you' Save her' Your family needs you. If it comes to Khushi Bhabhi or me, it's always her." He said, understanding very well what Arnav was going through. When it came to choose between his family and best friend, he had always chosen family and he expected the same from Arnav.

"Aman Singh, Arnav Singh sounds nice right? Brothers for life." Arnav said, holding Aman's face, as the memories of their first meeting came to his mind and he realised that somehow, their life had completed a full circle. That day, Arnav had saved the little Aman from being shot and today, Aman had saved him.

"Always' Arnav Bhai! Brothers for life." Aman uttered his final words and Arnav felt the grip on his arm loosen up and he knew his best friend was gone.

He closed Aman's eyes and lifted his limp body in his arms not wanting to leave it stranded here in the jungle. Carrying his dead friend, he reached the car where Khalid was ready to take off. "Bhai!" Arnav called out and Khalid understood what he wanted. "I'll take care of him." The elder man said and getting into another car, Khalid drove off with Aman's body while Arnav decided to rush Khushi to the hospital.

He didn't care if he broke any traffic rules or drove rashly today. He wanted her to be safe. Checking her, she still seemed to be conscious but her state was worsening every minute. "Khushi, be with me. Don't you dare close your eyes." Arnav kept on murmuring to her, while he drove the car alongside.

A journey of twenty minutes was cut short by ten minutes as he raced through the roads of Delhi and reached the hospital, the same hospital where Akash worked.

At this minute of panic, Arnav didn't know whom to go to and Akash was the only person his mind had come up with.

Carefully carrying Khushi in his arms, lest she feel any discomfort, he rushed to the emergency section. He observed how she was slowly slipping to unconsciousness and his heart panicked with what he saw.

"Khushi, we reached the hospital. You are going to be alright." He whispered in her ears, kissing her forehead.

"Call Dr. Akash. It's an emergency." He screamed to one of the nurses as he placed Khushi on the hospital bed.

"Khushi, listen to me. Tomorrow is our wedding and you have to be there. You cannot leave me and go like this, okay?" he said, his voice choked with tears. "Look at me dammit! Open your eyes. Your Arnav is ordering you. Will you disobey him?" he shouted, entwining his fingers with hers. "Khushi, I need you. Even Aman left me and went. I'm all alone. You cannot ditch our plans. We have to marry tomorrow and then, go to Malaysia for honeymoon. We have to start our own family. We have to have our kids. You promised me all of this and you cannot break it. Aman already ditched his promise, but you, I won't allow you. Got it?" Arnav had turned hysterical by now.

Within few minutes, he heard the noise of footsteps running towards them and he turned around to see Akash, looking at them as if he had seen ghosts.

Akash stared completely dumbfounded at the sight in front of him. There in front of him stood Arnav, his face fully bruised and stained with blood, his clothes covered with mud and his eyes slowly travelled to Khushi, who lay on her side, her back completely stained with blood.

"What happened?" Akash ran towards Khushi, feeling his heart stop for a minute. He saw the wound and knew it was a gun shot. "What the bloody hell did you do to her?" he screamed, grabbing Arnav's collar and pushing him against the wall.

"Doctor, she's slipping." The nurse said in an alarmed voice and Akash immediately left Arnav's collar with disgust and ran towards Khushi. "Call the trauma surgeon right now! We need to operate on her quickly." He ordered the nurse and Arnav stared with tearful eyes as the doctors prepped her up for the surgery.

He didn't hear anything else. His ears had gone deaf and his voice had failed him. All he could see was her writhing in pain, struggling for her life.

As they moved her to the operation theatre, he followed her, but was suddenly stopped by two hands once again.

"Don't you dare go anywhere near her! I had warned you because I knew this would happen! Arnav, if you loved her so much, you would have never let this happen to her! Now, if anything happens to her, I swear I won't spare you. I'll make sure you never see the daylight anymore." Akash growled, slamming the already injured Arnav against the wall.

"Please save her!" was all he could beg. If something happened to her, he knew that he wouldn't survive. All that was left in his life was her and if she too abandoned him, he had nothing to live this life for.

He saw Akash abandon him all alone and rush inside the operation theatre.

Arnav Singh Raizada collapsed down on the floor of the empty corridor, completely exhausted, devastated and drained off his entire energy, as endless tears rolled down his eyes. Why was this happening to him?

First he lost his mother, then he saw his so called father proclaiming himself as his mother's murderer and minutes later, being killed in front of his eyes. Then he witnessed his best friend dying in his arms and now, the love of his life was fighting for her life. Why did everyone abandon him every single time? Was he destined to be alone all his life?

He didn't want the whole world's happiness. He didn't want the whole world's love. All he had asked was for someone to be there for him and give him just an ounce of love and when he had found that love through Khushi, it had been snatched away all over again.

Why did his loved ones die protecting him? Every single one! He should have been the one to die, not them. Not his mother, not Aman, not Khushi.

And now, thinking about it, he felt sick with his existence, to know that he had survived taking away all their lives.

"Khushi, please don't leave me!" he cried, burying his face in his knees as he sat on the cold floor. All he needed was one more chance at life, one chance to live with Khushi and he was ready to pay any price for it.

He didn't know how many minutes he had sat there crying like this but his daze was broken by the noise of blue light flashing outside the door and a minute later, he saw Akash come running out of the operation theatre, as the nurses rushed into the room with some machines.

"Akash, what happened?" Arnav suddenly stood up, running towards him.

"You are asking what happened? Her pulse stopped completely and do you know what that means? She is going to DIE! And all because of YOU!" Akash screamed at him and stormed off into the room, slamming the door right onto Arnav's face.

Akash's words echoed in his ears.

She's going to die! All because of you!

He staggered backwards, as the memories spent with her flooded his mind.

The way she called his name, the way she smiled, the way she cheered him up when he was low. The way she kissed away all his pain, the way her laughter echoed in his ears, the way she felt beneath his body as they made love to each other. The way she hugged him, the way she prayed for him, the way she fed him lovingly with her hands.

Most of all, the way she made him feel special and loved and wanted in this cruel world, showing that there was still hope for a person like him.

If heaven ever existed, he knew it was only with her.

Was this the price he had to pay for all the deeds of his life? Such a huge price? Her death?

As he stared at his reflection on one of the corridor windows, he saw a face stained with blood and bruised with injuries. He had known that this bloodbath was going to leave a lot of scars in his life. But he just wished desperately that Khushi wasn't one of those scars.

Where was she? She had no idea. All that she could see in front of her was a never ending stretch of green pastures, fields of lilies and daffodils. And then, she was sure she heard waves splashing onto the shore. But however hard she tried to find the sea, she didn't find it.

Khushi looked all around to search for the face of human. But no one was around her.

Why was she in this place? Where was Arnav? "Arnav!" she called out his name but was only responded with the echo of her own voice.

"Arnav!" she called for the second time. This time, she heard a throat clearing behind her.

"He's not here." She heard an unfamiliar voice and turning around, she suddenly saw a young woman standing behind her, clad in a cream coloured salwar kameez.

Her face looked familiar, infact very familiar and suddenly, Khushi's eyes widened with shock as the realisation dawned upon her. "You are'"

"Yes, I'm Aarti. His mother." The woman smiled warmly at her.

"Aren't you dead?" Khushi asked absolutely stunned. His mother was pretty, even better than the photographs and those eyes, they were exactly like Arnav's. And she also smiled the same way.

"So are you." She said, walking towards her. "Come, we need to talk." Aarti said and held Khushi's hand, starting to walk ahead.

"I'm dead?" Khushi asked, even more baffled. What the hell was happening?

"Don't worry. I'm here for you." Aarti said and plucked a white lily and gave it to Khushi. "He loves you a lot." She said, cupping Khushi's face. "You are a really good girl. I'm infact proud to have you as my daughter in law."

"He misses you." Khushi replied and observed that his mother was still young. Around thirty? And she had a whole aura of grace and elegance in her. Her heart resonated with warmth, just like her son.

"I know. I miss him too. That's why I sent you to him."

"You did?"

"Yeah, I knew if there was anyone who would love him after me, it was you."

"Aarti Aunty?"

"No, call me Mumma. I would like it that way."

"Mumma? Can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Do you hate him for what he has done in his life?"

"I don't hate him. I don't approve of it either. But he's my son. I can never stop loving him."

"I love him too. But wouldn't he be angry at me if he comes to know I've left him and come here? He's quite possessive about me."

"Yeah, he's possessive." Aarti chuckled. "And yes, he will definitely be angry."

"Then I think I should go back."

"It's your choice, Khushi."

Khushi pondered about it. "But where's the door to return back?"

"The door seeks you if you really want to return back. You cannot find the door."

"Oh!" Khushi exclaimed, confused at her answer. "Can I ask you something else too?"

"Yes?"

"Did you love Khalid Malik?"

A long silence followed during which no one spoke. The sweet fragrance of lilies enveloped Khushi as the cold wind blew on her face, brushing her tresses. And before she could understand what was happening, she felt herself being suctioned back into a vortex, her lungs exploding with lack of air and the last thing she remembered seeing was a warm happy smile on Aarti Singh Raizada's face as her response.

"Khushi, no, you can't die." Akash screamed, as he started manual resuscitation to bring her back to life. Her pulse was dead for the past five minutes and she wasn't responding to anything. The bullet was out but the doctors feared that in the process of taking it out, they had damaged a major nerve of her spinal cord and her brain had shut down.

"Dr. Akash! What are you doing?" the other doctor yelled in horror as Akash haphazardly compressed the patient's chest with his arms. "Nurse, take him away from here. He has lost it." But Akash stood firm and resisted all attempts, continuing to pump her chest and bring back Khushi to life. Finally, they had to forcefully push him out of the room.

"Dr. Batra! You cannot let her die." He screamed, as he was dragged out of the room. Soon the other doctor took over the standard protocol of resuscitation process.

As Akash was dragged out of the room, he observed Arnav sitting on the floor of the corridor, his head hung in devastation.

"Dr. Akash!" he finally heard the nurse scream as she slapped him tightly on his cheek to bring him out of his hysterical self. "Calm down yourself!" she said and the other two nurses scampered away from the scene, afraid of the doctor's reaction. But instead, Akash stared silently at the nurse.

"Ok, just breathe and calm yourself down. You panicking won't help the situation. Dr. Batra is taking care of the patient. He's the best in this. He'll handle it very well. He's there in this field for the past twenty years. So he knows what he is doing." The nurse said, as she made him sit down on the chair at the nurse's counter. "Here, drink some coffee." She said, offering the drink.

Akash quietly took the cup and drank it and soon found her hands massaging his tense shoulders to calm him down. "Feeling better?" she asked and he nodded.

For the first time, he observed the nurse's face carefully and realised that she was the same one who used to always hit on him. His eyes slowly travelled down her name tag on her chest.

"Nurse Payal?" he said taking note of her name for the first time. "Thanks." He said and she smiled back at him.

His eyes then slowly travelled to Arnav who was still curled up on the floor, sobbing helplessly and seeing his state, he really sympathised with him. He might have hated him to the core for snatching away Khushi for him, but there was no denial that the man loved Khushi more than anyone else. If he had felt so much pain seeing Khushi suffer like this, he couldn't fathom what Arnav felt.

"Payal? Can you please attend that man there? He's bleeding and injured." He said pointing at Arnav.

"Ofcourse." She nodded and walked towards Arnav.

But before she could reach him, she saw the operation theatre doors open up and saw Dr. Batra walking out of it and she was sure, everyone around her was frozen to their spots, awaiting the verdict.

Arnav stood up seeing the doctor, his heart pounding violently against his chest, the blood throbbing impatiently in his ears.

It all came down to a bullet, a bullet that connected all their lives. The bullet that had taken his mother's life, the bullet that brought Khushi into his life, the bullet that took away Aman's life and now, it was the very bullet that would decide his future.

He saw the doctor's face and he knew the verdict, the words that would change his entire life.

And then, Arnav Singh Raizada collapsed down on the floor, as the exhaustion and emotional trauma of the entire day finally took its toll on his body.

baby this is more than fine for me... 😃
am not in a position to write anything... can't write a single word about the update... and you asked for long comments... what is left to comment... 😭😭
just give me some time to think properly... to pull out myself from the shock... then i would be ble to comment... hopefully
yes i want an epilogue... only if there would be no other girl in Arnav's life... if you want khushi dead make her dead... arnav living in regret would be ok for me... but i don't want him living with some other girl just to fullfill khushi's last wish...
and you better write something to cheer us 😡 i didn't want to cry... atleast not today... but am crying like i have lost all my reasons to smile...😭😭😭

thanks
but it was not only about reserving the post.😊

you literally made me cry. I just couldn't hold my tears. i'm feeling so sad, as much as I was excited and waiting for this update but you just... i didnt ever expect the end to be like this with Khushi at deathbed.

but I truly liked the little convo that Arti and Khushi had. I'm sure Khushi decided to come back.

i don't even know what else to say.
EPILOGUE is a must

your way of writing this story is really fantastic. You kept us glued to your story right through.

Mirage - wonderful story and Molten_lava - wonderful story teller 👍🏼
