I love Kiron kher for her personality, charm, sarees and jewelry sorry for being little materialistic...
I knew these 2 singers were going to awww us just by the look...Especially when one came on harmonium I was super duper excited...They knew their stuff and they were there to show it that they are there to compete...
My pleasure for the video links...Once something gets under my skin and ears I have to find the oggie to listen...

Mention Not ! It's ok to be materialistic sometimes. Even I get fascinated with bright colored sarees, bangles, jewelleries and Kirron kher definitely carries it off with so much grace, charm, and dignity.
When she was called upon the stage to dance with that belly dancer, it sent me to the flashbacks of her Devdas performance in chumak chumak ke nach rahi hai meri radha pyari (Something along this line) . That performance of her is so intense, aggressive, expressive that I can feel it across the screen loL
Yep! The girls are awesome. Their diction is very good, control over the music, command in voice is fantastic. I am so looking forward to see what they are gonna sing next.
P.S: Swallowing Live lizard, frog, is that really a talent? That person should rather go to dare devil shows where they have to take up such challenges every week.

One should never judge them by how they talked and the accent...The way they sung was with fantastic diction...
God bless these 2 with the talent

Yeah, they were amazing! At first, I was annoyed when Karan and Malaika were appearing judgemental just because the girls had foreign accents; they looked as if they thought the girls were snobbish/arrogant because of it. So I was really happy to hear such exquisite and clear enunciation during their song as if they didn't ever have that accent. I think that also changed KJo's and Malaika's initial impressions of them too. I found the performance very endearing and it had such an innocent, sweet quality to it too. Kind of an amazing break from modern youth's attachment to Chammak Challo, Chikni Chameli and the likes. 😆

Anyways, I'm loving this show. Really love to see a wide variety of talents.

I am probably going to be disliked for this post (because I am talking about their accent and not singing) but their accents sounded so forced to me! I dont see how these girls living in India would have such a distinct accent, especially when their conversing with people with Indian accents (because normally we tend to pick up on accents around us- that 's the only reason why people's accents change when they go abroad).

Even when they were talking to Manish, their hindi had that "foreign" (for lack of a better word) accent, yet as soon as they got outside they were speaking normally.

Ahh! I see what you are saying...Hmm...these girls are young, talented, and above all they are on TV ..So, a lil bit of attention seeking, making a materialistic impression, their false thinking that speaking in "foreign" (as you said) accent will make them stand out, toh banta hai boss 😉 hehe! I don't blame them, I blame their age ..lol. With time and age I am sure they will mature.😊

Accent fake or real I find these girls genuine...And why big hooopla about the accent?
Contest is not abt the Accent as a talent...
They are competing with their singing talent...So lets focus on their singing..
Do we know what channel does with contestants???? Rest of the garbage is abt TRP...
So as long as they sing well I will be listening...Peak With accent or without is not my criteria 😃

I loved their singing, but I do have beef with their accent. I think accent is important in singing, because of diction. Also the accent sounded fake to me. Why? Coz I am a typical modern Indian educated in english medium and convent school and now living in europe, I don't really have such a weird accent and I know tons of my friends who do not either.

so true Varsha...u know when they started singing, I was for a moment surprised coz I was almost ready to listen to an English song as they mentioned their interest for it while introducing themselves...

But they were wow...and I really dont care abt their accent, they seemed to be sweet gals and are ofcourse talented and thats all matters...They have a very refreshing voice and am looking forward to their performance in the Mumbai round
