But definitely there is a back story to this kid. I mean apart from her presence in AshNi's lives, to make them understand and appreciate each other better and possibly ignite the spark of motherhood or whatever in Nidhi. So what is this story?
1. Khushi was introduced to us a thief. Of course, we will get explanations on how Kirshna was a maakan chor himself and if we can accept him as God, why can we not accept Khushi as a thief. Okay, no issues with Khushi being a thief.
But what kind of a thief is she? I mean I know a thief is a theif at the end of the day but still. Does she steal food, does she steal money, what does she steal? Is she a thief a profession? i mean she mentioned to AShu that she works for herself and she works for a living. And she was only shown stealing. So, is that her temporary profession, something she does for a living? If so, why?
2. Where is her family?
Clearly, there was a family, Khushi herself has admitted to that. She was not born on the streets, She had a home and possibly, her father was even a cop. So, how did she land up on the streets? What happened to her parents? Is she from a broken home? Why would that necessitate her running away from home? Have her parents maybe abandoned her as they have moved on in life with other partners? Is that what she meant when she said her mother does not play with her anymore. For a little girl to run away from home, the circumstances must have been grave. Children don't leave home just like that? So, what was it?
3. Khushi's memory - Is Khushi suffering from memory loss? Is her mind deliberately suppressing painful memories? Is that why she is unable to recall details about her family? Here, I have a serious problem. This is a show about doctors. There are three doctors in that house. A child comes into their lives, they have no clue of her background but they can clearly see that she is suffering from some kind of mental block. Would not even one of them think to take her to a child psychologist. I am not a doctor but this question has been on my mind for the last two weeks.
4. The money box - that latest mystery of course is if Khushi has stolen the money box, why she has if she has and so on. Okay, so maybe she just wanted the box and not the money, She thought she could help herself to it. It was a pretty box and she wanted to have it for herself. Fair enough, quite possible!
If it was for the money, then what did she need the money for? If it is for an ailing mother, then what is she doing in this household? If she knows enough to steal money for her mother's treatment, then she should know enough to know that the mother also needs her presence by her side. Assuming the father has abandoned them, why has Khushi also abandoned her mother? And how does the memory loss fit in here unless of course it is feigned? And more importantly, when she knows that Ashu is a doctor and can ask him to reduce the sizze of her stomach, wouldn't she be able to share that her mother is ill and needs treatment? She surely knows Ashu will help her mother?
I am hoping that all these questions are going to be answered in a reasonably sensible way as the track opens up. In the meantime, if anyone can be kind of enough to answer some of these questions, I would be most obliged.
But beyond all of this, I don't have a problem with watching the track. I watch it, like the bits that I like and ignore the parts that I don't!
