So, here it goes..a journey of two people..to fulfill their dreams, where they really start dreaming..😳
Chapter 1
And..Yet another day had passed..!Life..makes people travel through all the ups and downs it has in store. But people still continue to dream..of passion,love and a better life.
Life was going on a flow or rather eventful for Madhubala. Being from a middle class family, She had achieved so many things that people looked upon her in awe! A girl,who always thought about her family and friends first and made them proud. Came always first in class during her school days and passed out her 12th scoring distinction and like her mom's dream getting a seat in one of the best medical college in the country.
Yet, there seemed something missing.
Madhubala , deep in thought..walked out of the bathroom slightly closing the door behind. Took out a towel, hanging near her godrej and wiped her face clean.
And..her phone rings..
"Hello" she responded in her sweet as honey voice.
"Bala''phew!Finally'Kaha thi?I must hv tried 5-8 times..!Phone kyun nhi utha rahi thi??"
Before she could reply..the voice again interrupted .. "Accha, who sab chod..jo baat maine tumse boli thi..did u think about it?Goshhh'this is super exciting man...am telling you,this wont come again..!jaldi bol na..r we going?am anyhow ready to bunk!"
"Baapre..sun tho..!Breath easy..waise tune phone hi kyun kiya?Voice mail bhej deti..atleast main teri pooori baad sunke..araam se reply kar deti na..!" bala responded smiling
"Arey,kya farak padta hai..waise bhi bolna tho bachpan se ritu ki hobby hai..!Chal chod..so,wts d planning for tomorrow?pakka?"
"Erm..I still have no idea..!Maine maa se abhi tak baat nahi ki..I don't think she would find it a good idea..tu tho jaanti hai na..studies,exams n in sab ke beech mein audition..!And our subject is d toughest..so,I don't think I would be able to cover-up!pata nahi..shaayad chod dete hai.." She replied trying hard to swallow the huge lump in her throat,making the last words barely audible.
"Kya?tu cover-up nahi kar paayegi? Then meri jaise logon ka kya haal hoga?b/w..Trying to fool me? I've always noticed that spark in your eyes when you think of following your passion..!Bala..you love music..then why don't you just try once..n trust me..u r blessed..! And tumhari mom..i knw she is a lil possessive about you..i mean,kaunsi maa nahi hoti hai..n I understand..but u could just ask her once..humein pata tho chalein who kya sochti hai..!"
Trying to control her tears from flowing down, she replied hoarsely "Chal abhi chod..,baad mein dekhte hai..abhi maa bula rahi hai..i will call you in the morning!"
"Bala..sun tho.."
And she realized she was speaking into a disconnected call!
And that was ritu, bala's best friend..though both were brought up in a completely different atmosphere..they had instantly liked each other's company and became best of friends..!Ritu was a rich and spoilt daughter of one of the richest businessman in the town, so it wsnt really hard for her to get a medical seat.Her cheerful,talkative,careless nature was an attraction to many.A lil taller than madhubala with curly hairs. She often taunted madhubala playfully saying, even though they both have got curly hairs..guyz drool over madhubala more and that's not fair for which she often smiled in response.
Ritu threw the phone on the bed followed by a long SIGH!
"Ye nahi samjhegi..,but don't worry..i'll not let her do this to herself..!Aakhir main kiske liye hoon..main samjhadoongi.." smiling to herself she went out of the room.
Even after long time..madhubala sat in the bed.Tears wouldn't come at this point, as she had become really good at suppressing them by bringing a fake smile.
'Music'..Her passion..her love..her talent..her gift from god!She wanted to pursue it so badly..but No!People who loved her wanted something else from her..its not that they've always forced her to do things according to their wish..infact that never really happened.But she understood..that her mother's happiness is what that matters to her the most.Though, she still didn't know the reason of her mother's over-possessiveness. She felt as if she was trying to protect her..from something,somebody..but she could never ask that out to her mom because she knew that would hurt her.She tried to forget it just the way she didn't show any interest in knowing about her father who left her and her mother to the darkness.But no!Not anymore..!they had made their own paradise..their own world filled with happiness and love for each other.And yes, she could do anything for her mother.
Bala adjusted her bed lamp,draped the blanket over her..and drifted to a comfortable sleep..filled with dreams of friends,family,love..and may be her Prince Charming??
