I don't understand why people are mixing various aspects of her speech.

1st she said she can't dance because she feels masculine or manly for the thumkas.
Thus she even told Karishma not to take pressure whether they get selected or not. This was one of the reasons she didn't want to dance.

2nd she stated clearly that she doesn't agree with BB making all the girls dance for the cheap entertainment and she even included BW in it.
I think the point she was trying to put across was the use of girls and skin show for the sake of public. And I completely agree with this point of hers. Nowadays, BW is focusing on such tactics to attract the audience.

3rd She also clarified that she isn't the type who can wear revealing clothes AND dance, doesn't mean others can't. Simply that she isn't that kind of "aurat". She was merely expressing her views against the skin show in dancing. I don't think she was being judgmental but simply emphasizing the difference between girls who are OK with such skin show and those who aren't. And anyone including Karishma, if not OK with doing so, could have backed out just like her.

4th Yes she messed up big time by generalizing not wearing revealing clothes at all in her real life. In the context I feel she meant not wearing such clothes and dancing for the sake of entertainment (yes she could have danced without embracing such clothes, but she was here generalizing BB dance to that of the inflation of item songs in BW). But end of the day she jumbled up her views and it turned into a mess.

And some also mentioned something about contract and how she should oblige with whatever is being assigned to her. Well, none of us know how their contracts are designed and no one is going to be dumb enough to oppose it and plant a seed to get sued in return. Such contracts aren't always black and white and it has to include individuals' boundaries and subjectivity on such activities. Also, there are multiple reasons why someone would choose BB. Models might have chosen to get exposure and try their hands at BW, while people like Sampat Pal and Sapna could have chosen to bring about awareness or put across their rebellious views on such platform. So I don't think people choose BB for ONLY entertaining the audience, there are layers of other reasoning involved as well.

Basically the gist I got from her argument is that she can't do the "thumkas" because of her manliness in her movements and that she was being the rebel against the way women are being used in the fashion/BW industry for the so called entertainment. And I think she was bang on to start opposing from BB itself who relies on such tactics as we have seen it multiple times in multiple BB season.

P.S: That was merely my interpretation of her argument.

Everyone have their own interpretation of what she said and what she meant. Here is mine. She simply could not take defeat and find Sampatji and Sana going safe so she had to take it out some way hence she came out with such a logic. None of her logic stands good. First BB told one of the team member can dance in order to save the team, so no pressure in that front for compulsion to wear something not comfortable with and dance. Second she does wear dresses showing off her skin you can google her photos. Third she is a part of TV reality show which comprises of movies, sports, news and soaps. Two of them has dance an integral part of it and this being an entertainment show has to have some elements. Finally the numbers were not item numbers or sizzler it all depended on how it was choreographed and presented which need not be done in a manner item numbers are done.
