Jeevika places an earring, tikka and bindi on Manvi. As she's finishing, she admires Manvi in the mirror in her bridal attire.
Jeevika: Leh, ban gayeh tu apne dulheh ka dulhan.
(There, you've become the bride for your groom.)
Manvi stands up, and facing away from Jeevika, begins to say her monologue.
Manvi: Jab yeh dono behno ka jodi, bahuoh ka jodi keh roop mein duniyah ka saamneh ayyehgi nah, to duniyah dekhti reh jayega Di. Yeh shaadi meri liyeh isliyeh bhi khaas hai kyunki iske baad mein, mein aap ki kabhi door nai rehungi, hai nah?
(When this sister's bond comes before the world in the form of the bond between daughter-in-laws, then the whole world will keep on staring. This wedding is special for me also as after this, I'll never be apart from you. Isn't that right Di?)
She turns back round towards the mirror where Jeevika was seconds back, only to find just herself in the room.
