Chapter 4 : Gift
And she made up her decision. She will say Yes to Arnav. But she had one condition.
Arnav got a call and he excused himself, "Yes Aman, what happened?" Khushi heard Arnav saying as he climbed up the stairs. She needed to talk to him.
She looked around nervously while whole family was busy chatting.
Anjali asked her in low voice, "Khushi, you want to talk to Chhote?" 😉 😆
Khushi just stared at her not knowing how Anjali had read her mind. 😕
"You go up from here. Chhotey's room is 3rd room from right.", Anjali said smiling. 😛
Khushi smiled back and got up.
Khushi reached the room which was wide open. But she couldn't find Arnav in room. Hesitantly she entered in his room. She couldn't stop herself from admiring his room's interior decoration. It was beautiful. Perfect furniture and colour combination. This was the first time she had came to his room.. soon to be their room. 😳
She heard Arnav's voice and followed from where it was coming. And then she saw it. There was garden outside his room with pool besides it. Arnav finished his phone call and turned around to see Khushi.
He saw an admiring look in her eyes while observing his garden. He liked that. 😛
He cleared his throat and Khushi looked at him.
"Arnav, I have made up my decision.", Khushi said.
Arnav felt his heart beating fast. He waited impatiently for her answer.
"I will marry you. But I have one condition.", Khushi said. Arnav nodded asking her to continue. 😕
"I need to finish up my 3 month training period in Mumbai. Once training is finished, I will be joining Delhi office. So for now, we can get engaged. And after I come back from Mumbai, we can get married. I hope thats fine for you.", Khushi waited for his answer, she was bit afraid of whether he will agree to her condition or not.
"Ok. No problem. I just want you to be comfortable. Thats it.", Arnav added smiling. He was really happy. 😊
"Thank you.. Thank you so much", Khushi meant it. Just then Khushi heard baby's cheerful voice coming from downstairs and she almost ran to see Aryan for whom she had came. 😆
Khushi took Aryan in her arms and kissed his cheeks. She played with him for next 1-2 hours. Even Aryan liked her very much. She was indeed favorite amonst kids. 😛 She exactly knew how to tackle them. 😆
Later, on the dinner table, Payal brought up the topic.
"Khushi, its your birthday on coming saturday. I am so happy. We will have a grand celebration.", Payal said excitedly and whole family started discussing it. 😳

and crossed the last item as well.
He was really confused as to which gift he should give to Khushi on her birthday. He remembered his conversation with Khushi yesterday.
~ Start of flashback ~
Arnav was excited to know that it was Khushi's birthday after 2 days.
He called her up and asked directly, "What would you like to have as your birthday gift from me?"
He thought that he would give her whatever she asks for. But he didn't know that Khushi Kumari Gupta was not an easy person to deal with.
"Arnav, please give me something which no one had given me before and which will touch my heart.", Khushi challenged Arnav.
~ End of flashback ~
Arnav came up with many gifts which he can give to Khushi, but he didn't seem satisfied. Finally, he got one idea. 😊
"You look handsome in light blue shirt.", Payal said while making knot for Akash's tie, while Akash held her with his right hand around her waist and left one caressing her hair. 😉
"Oops, I should have knocked the door. Guys, Please lock the door when you are doing romance. You know, anyone can march into your room any time. You should be careful.", Arnav said smirking. 😉 Akash glared at him and Payal murmered "Shut up" and slightly hit on his shoulder. 😛
"So why are you here?", asked Payal.
"Well, I am really confused about which gift i should give to Khushi. She had asked me to give her something which no one had given her yet and which will touch her heart.", Payal shook her head knowing her sister well. 😆
"I have one idea, but i need your help in that, Payal.", Arnav said.
Arnav explained Akash and Payal his idea. Payal was almost shocked not knowing how exactly he came up with this.
"Khushi is very lucky. You love her so much, Arnav", Payal said happily while Akash nodded in agreement. 😳

On Khushi's birthday, Raizada family invited her to Raizada Mansion.
They took her to poolside near Arnav's room by placing black cloth around her eyes. (blindfolded) When Payal removed the black cloth and Khushi slowly opened her eyes.
She saw that in the pool, they had placed Diyas to make words as "We Love You Khushi". It looked beautiful in moonlight. She was really happy. She hugged Payal for a wonderful surprise. 😳
Payal looked at Arnav, who shook his head. It was Arnav's idea. Initially, he wanted to make "I Love You" words with Diyas, but later he thought that it would be too early and he didn't want to make Khushi nervous. So he asked Payal to do that from whole family's behalf and told her not to tell Khushi that it was his idea.
Naniji, Mamaji and Mamiji gave her gold necklace. Anjali & Shyam gave her bangles. Payal & Akash gave Khushi a light blue colored dress with chickenkari work on it done by Payal.
Now it was time for arnav's gift. 😛
Khushi unwrapped gift and took out something which felt like photo frame from the box. As she slowly pulled it out from box, she saw what it was. It was a sketch of Arnav and Khushi bending down together to take someone's blessing. Khushi was wearing Saree and Arnav was in Shervani. As she pulled out the complete frame, she was shocked. 😲
They were taking blessing from her mother and father in that sketch. This was impossible. Her parents died when she was eight years old. The moment which was shown in the sketch looked like Arnav and Khushi taking blessings from her parents on their marriage day which was not possible in reality. She didn't know when her eyes moistened and tears started falling from her eyes. She missed her parents terribly. She would never say anything, but she felt incomplete without them. He could not bring them back, but he completed her wish through that sketch. 😳
She hugged him while sobbing silently in his arms. No words needed to express what she felt and he knew her feelings. 😊
Khushi looked up at Arnav and said smiling through her tears, "This is the best gift I have ever got in my life. Thank you." 😳
