Here's some news from Channel V's popular show, Dil Dosti Dance (D3) produced by Cinevistaas. The latest we have learnt is that actress Sneha Kapoor aka Sharon has decided to quit the project.
The development came into the foray after the production house uploaded a video on Youtube wherein Sneha gave her reasons of quitting.
She stated that she has been uncomfortable doing romantic scenes with her on-screen co-star Shantanu Maheshwari, better known as Swayam, in the show. In fact, there were times when the creative of the show Palki Malhotra had to alter certain scenes to suit Sneha's preferences.
In the video… Sneha confessed that she is quitting the show as she has failed to meet the demands of her profession. Also that she is uncomfortable in getting physical with another person and that she has always been like that. Even in real life she does not hug random people.
Palki too accepted that Sneha is a girl next door and in spite of repetitive attempts she couldn't push her to be Sharon completely. However, they will not be getting another actress as Sneha's replacement but will create a new character altogether soon.
We also got in touch with Sneha who gave us a patient hearing and stated, "I am not comfortable talking about it."
Shantanu too refused to comment on the same while Palki remained unavailable.
