Shyam makes the show

HELLO! Abhaas' character Shyam makes the show happen! Without his rivalry to Arnav what would be the point of Arnav's character? For Arnav to one fine day wake up and realize he is in love? Forego all his problems over the last 14 years and that's it? There has to be more and Shyam is playing that up.

Anjali and now Khushi were designed to be pawns in this rivalry between Arnav and Shyam. It's his lows that bring Arnav's highs. His character is well developed and Abhaas does a fabulous job depicting his evil ways. He kept the show going with Khushi during the whole kidnapping track. Kudos to Abhaas for doing so well.

I don't understand why people would even consider removing him from the show. It's Shyam' lows that bring Arnav's highs. Otherwise, how is Arnav a hero with all of his faults. It can't just be a love story. There has to be a real antagonist and protagonist.

If anything the CVs need to bring this to forefront and stop playing mickey mouse games. Work the plots and all.

My personal favs are his Daiya Ho's.

But that is the whole point. If he was good then, where is the plot? the show? A lesser character cannot be matched against ASR.
